Great teams in the quarter final rounds. AcMilan, Roma, Liverpool, Westham have got a very routine win, straightforward and statement win, while Bayern Leverkusen struggled to impress same with Benfica and Marseille

With West ham winning the conference league last season surprisingly, do you think they can surprise the rest of Europe in the Europa league too?

My heart almost fell again because of what they did the last time and again this they nearly did the same thing. I don't why but Leverkusen really need to cut  low on the amount of goals they conceive rather than scoring and also conceding more. A good offence is always a good defence and this is what Xabi Alonso should work on because I believe if this qarabag team was a different team they wouldn't have given up their two goals lead twice in the same fixture with Leverkusen.

I've been watching Bayer Leverkusen since the beginning of this season (some of their games) and I haven't seen them play with so much determination both in their league and in the Europa league, these guys are the best for me.
Xabi Alonso has really transformed this team to become one of the best in the world of football and if you ask me I'd say these guys can challenge Liverpool because I see both teams as the strongest and Klopp's boys can't withstand the pressure Bayer Leverkusen have with them and they bring it on in every game they play.
Let's forget the high number of goals Liverpool are scoring in  this competition, if we get to see Bayer Leverkusen against Liverpool I believe it would be hard for Liverpool to play that freely because Leverkusen will force them (Liverpool) to play to their tune and Bayer Leverkusen will win. I just hope to see Liverpool vs Bayer Leverkusen in the quarter finals. Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso.

The matches that surprised me the most today were Benfica and Roma. Benfica scored a single goal and won, while Roma lost 1-0 in a game where they over-rotated and over-confident after the score in the first leg.
The performance of the night was of course Bayer Leverkusen. Despite going 2-0 down, they won 3-2 and maintained their unbeaten streak in all competitions. Pity for Qarabaq, but they didn't deserve to advance. Patrik Schick, one of my favorite players, changed the fate of the match.

I never thought if Qarabag can make Leverkusen gets in trouble because before this match honestly i was underestimate them but surprisingly Qarabag can successfully to make Leverkusen have to hard struggling and i didn't watching this match but only following update scores of this match but when i saw Qarabag can leading the game 2-0 until 70 minutes i was lost hope for Leverkusen because i thought this team will not qualified but Leverkusen has prove to us that they have champion mentallity and they can fliped the situations and dramatically won the match and eliminate Qarabag

I have to says Leverkusen performance a bit decline during knockout phase because they unable to gets easy win from Qarabag which is on the paper this is should be easy match for Leverkusen but regardless all of it Leverkusen still deserved to called as strong candidate for the trophy and for other match although in the first leg Liverpool can able to win with big scores from Sparta Praha but today they didn't hold back because although Klopp has decide to playing with some of reserved players but Liverpool has just gets fantastic win from Sparta Praha 6-1 and total aggregate for Liverpool vs Sparta Praha is 11-2

Leverkusen had more than a bit of luck. It's unbelievable how they performed against Qarabeg in both the first game and the second leg. They were already two goals down in the first game and were lucky to equalize. The same in the second leg. Two goals down again and still won by good luck thanks to two late goals from Schick in injury time. That was no good performance against a second-rate opponent. Xabi and his team must improve in the next round, otherwise the competition will soon be over for Leverkusen.

Leverkusen was lucky again in this match. despite playing at home. until the 67th minute was 2-0 behind even though his opponent played with 10 players. even until the 90th minute was still 2-1 behind. 2 Leverkusen goals that were able to give victory were scored in the injury time minute.

Italian Seria A sides has come a long way in this Competition, most interesting is seeing Ac Milan though I'm not too perplexed or boggled about the progress they're making in the European Europa League Competition. They're big sides in Europe and I don't need to be reminded of them capabilities. Same way they have improved in the domestic league games, it's same way for the European Europa League Competition. Both Pulisic and Loftus Cheek indeed has since a high rise in form as they both left Chelsea for  Ac Milan.

Per Emerick Aubameyang with his influence from the bench yet again tonight. He has been nothing but instrumental figure for the french league one side so far this season with goalscoring and assisting.

I can't speak on behalf of the referee right now because if I do, I might actually get banned. This referee ruined the chances of Roma last year, and robbed them off their deserved europa title, and not only he was not taken from his position, he is still given important games. He was also the one that ruined our game against Sparta as well so I can't say that I am not biased towards him, we have video proof that there were at least 3 situations that should have been potential red card (two of them second yellow, one direct red) and he did not give it. In any case, Leverkusen did played well enough, nobody says they didn't "deserve" it, but Karabag was the one that should have won this, the referee just let the game go up until Leverkusen can win, it was too obvious that he had a favorite in the game. I wouldn't be too shocked to learn decades later that he was actually betting on the games, not himself directly, no ref does that, but just tip others and make money from it. Its not unheard of, and happened many times before and found out only decades later.

Whether you are an Italian football fan or not, the games that are getting destroyed by this freaking Italian teams are a waste and you can only hope that no young people watch those games. It is always the same. I watched the entire Brighton - Roma game and from the first second it was obvious that the game plan was to fall down and act as if the leg is broken. Delay any throw-in, any goal kick, any free kick, any injury, any discussion, and in my opinion it has nothing to do with excitement and fun for anyone who loves football. As I said, it doesn't matter where you are from, but nobody wants to see that. It is not football.

I don't understand why the heck they don't introduce a real stop watch like in basketball or hockey. Just push the button when one of these Italian pussies goes to the ground and cries. One of the best scenes was in the first half when one Italian pussy fell down, cried hard, moved from left to right holding his leg and seconds after went for a massive sprint and body checked a Brighton player. Serious question here, does anyone like this way of playing football? Like, does anyone consider this smart Italian strategy? What's the point in winning games like this purely based on time delay. I understand things can be strategic, I am fine with that. But like this? Imagine the clock would run down in basketball all the time during any foul. Anyone ever wondered why in basketball you rarely see a player lying on the ground? Anyone ever wondered why in ice hockey you rarely see a player lying on the ground? Because hockey is not so hard huh? Handball, same stuff. Nobody is crying there. The only sport where men behave like pussies is football, a sport that doesn't have a real stop watch.

Edit: I am not a Brighton fan! I watched the game for fun. I am not a Roma hater, but I love football, good games.

It's true that Liverpool recorded a big win over Sparta Prague, they showed their class as one of Europe big teams. Jurgen Klopp squad really deserves to be favorites to win the Europa League trophy, hoping they can face AC Milan or Leverkusen in the final round.

Liverpool performance is not a surprising one tonight looking at their level of form in all competition I think they are a better team and they really deserve the win tonight because they played better but the number of goals they got is amazing 11:2 home they only needed one more goal to be able to spell the name of the team played against which is Sparta Prague with twelve letters. Good performance by the West Ham team they have been so great in the Europa league despite not been solid like before in the EPL this season.

I think Xabi Alonso needs to be very careful in their next Europa league game because they managed to come back both in the first leg and second leg of this game after conceding 2 early goals and tonight they managed to win 3:2 after coming back from a 0:2 defeat.

Liverpool really showed their class in the Europa League, the Reds were able to have a big party with an aggregate of 11-2, which is quite a fantastic number. It is true that Sparta Prague is not a match for the English representative, but what the Liverpool retainer has done really shows that they are very strong and are strong candidates in this tournament. I saw that how xabi alonso was also feeling so happy with this result. He was walking out from the bench and expressing his satisfied with the result from this game. Leverkusen didn't need additional time caused by the second goal from schich was enough helped the club to won the game easily.

I can't even believe it how a guy like schick chnged the situation in term of a minutes. This is such a miracle that goes to the leverkusen after taylor was always unfair in this game. I dunno what's wrong with UEFA by always giving him jobs to lead the competition in EPL.

Leverkusen were absolutely crazy, they made their supporters hearts almost fall out. Final score 3-2, the match went like in the first leg, they fell behind first. The Qarabag player red card helped Leverkusen in the final minute. The final aggregate was 4-3, Alonso squad really didn't want to be defeated, the match was very dramatic, and finally they qualified for the quarter finals.

I was not expecting sparta praha to perform magic, what happened in that match for me, it was suppose to be, because we are talking about Liverpool which is one of the world respected club, when you come to the English premiership, football most time is history, Liverpool current form is unquenchable for now, we should note that Liverpool is not suppose to be in the Europa because they remains the world champions as far as the world of football is concerned, the winning was a perfect winning, they deserve such winning kudos to Liverpool.
