I have thought about it and maybe it could be due to not having important players such as Mitoma and Joao Pedro in this match. Especially Joao Pedro is like their best scorer in the Europa League so far. But at least they could have defended better than this. Roma are really at a higher level after the Mourinho - De Rossi change. Their playing more attacking is helping very much. The players has regained their self confidence. 

Well taking about the elite team disappointing when it comes to you gambling , I think it's more of your problem as your picks aswell has got a whole lot to do with what exactly will be the outcome of your game but then if you are not lucky with the picks it doesn't mean that the elite teams disappoints it only means that these teams played what the could but you were just not luck with your picks.

It's actually true that xabis team and klops have been spotted to be the elite teams of the Europa this season and that's actually in no doubts as both teams are doing so well not only in the Europa tournament but in their various domestic leagues aswell so I think it's okay to see them as elite but let's not also neglect the kinds of AC Milan and Roma they are both doing well too in their own capacity which could mean that they could possibly challenge the bigger teams if they eventually meet so I don't think Leverkusen and Liverpool alone are the only big teams in the Europa.

Other teams may actually appear like mediocre teams but then they can aswell be a hitch to these big team if at any point they are been taken for granted just like Porto was been overlooked by Arsenal in the champions league and now they are literally struggling to get ahead of Porto because Porto now have a chance and advantage over them in the champions league at the moment .

For me, the surprise was not about the 2-2 draw but, the surprise was that Qarabag managed to make 2 goals in the first half and thus also Qarabag won 2-0 at first half. In addition, the fact that Qarabag also had good statistics in the first leg, so thatfactor was a surprise for Bayer Leverkusen. Because anyway, on paper I believe Bayer Leverkusen was projected to be able to wineasily against Qarabag in the first leg, but in reality Qarabag managed to play very well and Bayer Leverkusen also had to put in more effort to make 2 goals back which just came in the second half until the first leg match ended in a 2-2 draw. The EPL is competitive too and so focus should be put in it but the UEL trophy to me would actually have more worth than the EPL. The UEL journey may not necessarily be stressful for them as Liverpool tends to be better than the teams in the tournament, their tough counterpart will definitely be Leverkusen because they've had more or less same domestic league results as Liverpool and the team is everly eager to strive to win games and they're aiming for the trophy.

 It's good that the both of them are in the same condition and then also have the same goal and target in the domestic and continental tournaments too. This is an entirely different opinion for middle classed teams in the EPL too, they don't have as much competitive strength and power as the big teams in the league to face continental contests. Yes so far they've been able to match the intensity that the UEL and UCL brings but all thesame, their odds to succeed in it are very much less.

 The continental competition only gives them the experience they'd need for futuristic goals and plans. It's not a mere or shade talk but in the EPL, even in its competitive nature, there are teams that can't stand the intensity of the continental contests. Well, it's only a matter of time before they gradually build up to the standard of the big teams. Goodnews is that they're striving to stay relevant regardless so far this season and it's an optimistic approach towards a big aim for the teams.

I think draw result from Sporting is very favourable for Atalanta this because for second leg Atalanta will playing at their home ground and we have been discuss about this before because in this competition Atalanta is still unbeatable since group stages at their home with gets 2 wins and 1 draw so i am sure for second leg they have good chances to overcomes Sporting and it's not difficult for Atalanta to do that especially they only required to win with narrow scores to eleminate Sporting and advances to the quarterfinal stages

I am very confident Atalanta can able to do that especially they have been done it before because this season Atalanta can able to beat Sporting on group stages and actually Atalanta achievement in Europa League is not very impressive because their highest achievement was happened on season 2021/2022 at that time Atalanta can able reach to quarterfinal but they have to eliminated by Leipzig on that stages and failed to advances to the semifinal and for this season too although Atalanta cannot be considered as strong candidate to gets the trophy but their performance is very impressive and i think the favourite teams such as Liverpool or Leverkusen should beware of them

I know AS Roma will beat Brighton in that match. Because I predict Roma will win. But I didn't expect them to be beaten 4-0. It was a one-sided win and it was as if Brighton were not a team from the EPL. It will be absolutely impossible for Brighton to catch up from 4 goals behind.

In another match, West Ham also lost 0-1 to Freiburg. To be honest it wasn't surprising because Freiburg won with a goal in the 84th minute, and they were playing at home. Freiburg is also the team that can hold Munich to a draw so I think that's a pretty fair result.

But the problem is that English teams are losing in the European leagues, except Liverpool. Does this show that the EPL is considered the most prestigious league in Europe and even the world, but their teams cannot compete in European league competitions?
