After four days we will be having second leg of the round of 16 then we will be able to check how things are going right now any prediction is going to be difficult because all teams are giving their best and have enough chance for the win as well we can't compare them because all teams are playing into different conditions and having completely different opponents into their domestic leagues so even we have four teams at their best but still any out sider can still steal the show which could be not surprising.
Currently, we have four teams which are giving their best and have chance at the same level for the win of title but as mentioned Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are hot favorite due to their quality and consistency with both Italian sides are missing consistency.

The Europa League grand final is still quite long because all the teams are trying to progress from the round of 16 to the next round with even more fantastic wins. I also don't deny that the strong candidates to become champions of the Europa League this season are Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen, but one of them can definitely be the best because in the end only one person will win. However, when talking about strength and solidity of play, I still prefer Liverpool even though Bayer Leverkusen themselves have also been a very dangerous team this season.

Liverpool have proven since the start of the season that they do not depend on several main players so that even though player rotation occurs, the Liverpool team's performance will not decline and this has been proven when their mainstay player M. Salah is absent.
So I don't think that can be used as any benchmark, Liverpool are still quite strong and consistent and they are strong favorites to win the Europa League this season.

IN the second leg Marseille will start the match with 4 goals in hand, this clearly gives them the upper hand after a landslide victory in the first leg. I don't think that Villareal will lose by a landslide score like that, because overall they are actually not much different from Marseille. This may be the impact of their lack of performance in the domestic league, La Liga, which makes them like this in the European League.

It will be very difficult for Villareal to catch up with the 4 goals scored by their opponents in the first leg, even though Villareal will act as hosts in this match. There was no other choice for Villareal but to attack in their final match in the round of 16. Regardless of what results they would get, they couldn't just stand idly by. In my opinion they will really be eliminated unless they get very lucky in this match. If they don't get that luck, then their chances are very slim. We can imagine how difficult it is to score 4 goals in one match, especially since the opponent you are facing is not an easy team to beat.

With such a huge aggregate of goals of course it would take a miracle for Sparta to just level the score in the second leg, even with such a big score advantage Liverpool probably won't field their main players and maybe second tier or young players will be the solution for Klopp to face Sparta at Anfield, I don't think if Spartan will easily score at Anfield because Anfield has awesomeness in the visitors.

Indirectly, of course, Klopp has secured their position in the Europa League and of course it provides motivation for Liverpool to stare at an important match in the league when facing Manchester City later, Arsenal's victory automatically makes Liverpool's position temporarily drop to 2nd place while still remaining 1 point difference with Arsenal who have 64 points, the match will be even tougher for Liverpool because the opponent they face is Manchester City who also has the same mission, namely to seize the first place in the standing from arsenal,  Both teams, I think, have pretty good stats in the league and European competitions so it will be very difficult for us to guess who will win the game and maybe Arsenal fans will hope that the game between Liverpool and Manchester City ends in a draw

Their task is very easy in the second leg, with a 4 goal advantage that they have, it will make them more comfortable when playing the second leg. I think maybe they will rotate or they will save a little of their strength to prepare for the next match. In my opinion, this is not part of underestimating the opponent, but with a score that is so far away like that it will be very difficult for the opponent to catch up, but still they have to be careful because the opponent will not think long about playing all out.
Now they will first focus on the match in the Premier League, in the Premier League they will face the defending champions who are also right below them with a distance of 1 point, Manchester City. This is a difficult match for Liverpool, just as it is a difficult match for Manchester City. Something I am thinking about right now is just a surprise like Sevilla will be repeated Milan or Roma because slowly without us realizing Milan and Roma have quite big potential.

with performance of Mac Allister no doubt they can, quite underrated player tbh at the current state of liver pool he needs recognition.
overall the performance of liverpool more specifically macca to nunez is a bomb of its own in this game in my opinion.

they need to play Salah in this match against man city though to increase that chance of winning. afaik if you see from the history of both team you see the pattern liverpool never defeated in anfield this season around its gonna be tough match for man city I guess, if salah also playing its gonna be massive.

In the European League, some teams can show different performances than in their domestic league, that's why we see surprises more often in this competition. I agree with you, even though Roma have experienced an increase in performance, they are not yet on par with Leverkusen and Liverpool, even though they were finalists last season and are now starting to appear impressive.

Liverpool are in a safe position to continue the second leg match, because their margin of victory is quite large, while Leverkusen have to try a little harder to win after being held to a draw by Qarabag. These two teams deserve to be favorites, and Liverpool will again shift their focus to the Bigmatch against Man City in the EPL.

On the other hand, I still hope Milan can do something impressive in the Europa League, even though we know they are not as consistent as Liverpool or Leverkusen. At least the European League will become more fierce if Milan becomes one of the teams challenging for the title. Liverpool has been doing a great job so far this season and it has to be taken into consideration that they are still missing several players due to injuries. None of these teams are better than each other, it's just about comparing them to their current stats and seeing the difference. Besides why lay out comparisons when one can easily spot the vast difference in previous games played. However there are promising clubs that have enlisted on the radar to win the Europa League title and these are elite teams that are doing exceptionally brilliant in matches. Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen are the main clubs, no change about that. All we have to do now is to patiently wait for the big game to happen in the grand Europa League final.

I agree with you. AS Roma is still far from the level of Liverpool and Leverkusen. AS Roma still can't prove that they already become a stronger and solid team. Most the matches that AS Roma won, were easy matches. Most of them were playing against average or small teams. We only can assume AS Roma to have the chance beating Liverpool or Leverkusen if AS Roma can beat Milan, Juventus, or Inter in Serie A.

For the final match, it is still difficult to predict. However, I'm sure the ideal final match should be for the favorite teams. Liverpool, Leverkusen, and AC Milan look like the favorite teams in UEL. I think the final match should be among these teams.

Not just in UEFA Europa League competition does some of the greatest surprises and comebacks happens in football but also in many other football competition but considering the strength of Liverpool against Sparta Praha, I think will easily stake all my life savings that Sparta Praha doesn't have all it takes to make a come back against Liverpool when they play each other at Anfield next week Thursday for the second leg of their UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie.
Liverpool alongside Bayer Leverkusen are simply the  favorites to win the UEFA Europa League competition at the end of the season and I don't think Sparta Praha stands any chance to stop Liverpool at least from reaching the next round of the competition because Liverpool as we all know is a very ruthless club that'll surely score as many goals as possible when they meet each other next week Thursday. Just like Liverpool, I also expect Bayer Leverkusen to make it to the next round of the competition before draw for the quarter finals and semi finals will be made by UEFA.

There is no denying this because even though Leverkusen is currently in a very good condition where Xabi can turn Leverkusen into a club that cannot be underestimated but speaking of quality in terms of players, experience and performance on the field, it is certain that Liverpool is the most favorite club for the Europa League.
As for the issue of guarantees things like this are difficult to predict in the Europa League. We certainly know in the last few seasons after Manchester United, Atletico and Chelsea took turns being champions in the 3 seasons after that there was always a surprise where Villarreal won after winning against Manchester United in the 2020/2021 final or in the previous 2 seasons where there were names Frankfurt and Sevilla which even though if we look at the contestants in the last season there is always Barcelona in it.

Surprises like this can always happen again at this time even though Liverpool cannot be denied they are a strong club but it is not impossible for them to lose and unexpected clubs can get trophies in the Europa League.

Leverkusen yes, but I don't see Roma being on the same level. In my opinion Roma is not even close. They improved their game lately, but there is still a huge gap when you compare them to Liverpool. But I think we will get to see a nice test when Liverpool now plays against Manchester City. That's the toughest test a team can have.

However, I think in a final everything is possible. If Roma can manage to make it into the final, then I wouldn't assume that they are without chances. Playing a final is always different from playing league games.

Maybe at this point the Europa may not be really appearing competitive enough to you but then I'm very sure beyond this point you will get to see more actions and the competition will definitely come alive such that you will actually really enjoyed it well enough, so just a more careful and closer look you can still find some kind nof competition especially amongst the smaller teams but not with the bigger once.

The big teams seem to be having it quiet easy at this stage and are winning their games quiet shamelessly but then have also seen quite some few cases of what would have look like a tough game for them especially that with Leverkusen few days back but then I'm not seeing it as a reason they may not get lass this stage of the Europa, but with Liverpool and AC Milan it's not looking tough and difficult yet until when the big teams will begin to meet themselves then we are going to see another kind of action that will be shown in the competition especially amongst the elites.

Leverkusen and Liverpool as re the top teams in the Europa and we also have the likes of AC Milan and Roma who would want to aswell want to make sure they are able to get far int eh league and probably get to secure the third place in the league but then I don't want to believe Roma may pose enough threat as they don appear to have such form for elite teams like Liverpool a d Leverkusen but may be able to challenge other weak teams.

I can agree if Liverpool is one of the top teams in UEL and will have a good chance to win the title. But I think Leverkusen, AC Milan, and AS Roma have a good chance to win title as well. Leverkusen, AC Milan, and AS Roma are strong enough to challenge Liverpool for the title. Specifically for Leverkusen, this team is still unbeatable until now.

Liverpool may have the chance to get some trophies/titles. But it won't be easy to get UEL trophy, there are some strong teams here. They may give a surprise for the next match. If they will play against Liverpool, they may defeat Liverpool if Liverpool isn't ready for the match.

I do agree that Liverpool is far better than the other three, but it feels like it is not such a big deal neither, this is europa and anything could happen, Liverpool could end up losing to Sparta too, I know very unlikely but what I am trying to point out is that they are not really getting anything just because they are a good team, they need to end up playing well enough for all of them.

I think we should consider the situation that may change, Liverpool is the best one but there is no guarantee so anything could happen. I still see Leverkusen as a big title contender as well they are doing so well so far and I think there is a possibility that they may end up with some troubles here and there if they are not really careful.

however, this surprise occurred because previously many people had predicted that maybe Roma would get a narrow victory, but in fact all of that was speculation which could not come true after De Rossi changed Roma to be stronger than before and many people even doubted that De Rossi would manage Roma but he succeeded in paying off all the bad criticism with these amazing results.
on the one hand, it's actually natural that Roma was able to score big after Brighton experience such a deep decline in performance and we can see from the playing style of the Brighton players that almost every match make us bored because they don't show the strength like at the start of last season which looked more consistent.
but there is something that we have to look into more deeply, namely that Brighton actually lost a midfielder and an attacking player who is currently suffering from injury, so this is most likely the reason why Brighton is unable to survive with its performance so it has lost the strength to still be able to withstand attack from Roma.

and Roma is currently far superior to Brigton. It is clear that the player who is highly favored by Lukaku is still making the best contribution and is supported by Dybala, who has now also started to show his talent and build chemistry with Lukaku.
this time Roma has a very big chance and is even guaranteed to qualify for the quarter final and become part of the strongest team in the european league.

The results of the match were a bit surprising, because I personally didn't expect them to win with such a landslide score. The reason is that at the start I thought that Brighton was one of the clubs that could provide resistance to AS Roma, but they didn't show that in this match. On the other hand, it was AS Roma who could actually be comfortable with the scores they could create.

This result will make AS Roma more comfortable in the second leg even though they will have visiting team status. Even if they lose, as long as there are no more than 4 goals then it will still take them through to the next round. This is a good move from De Rossi.

Another match that ended with a striking score was the match between Sparta Prague vs Liverpool. Liverpool managed to overthrow Spartha Prague with a score of 1-5. They really deserve to be the favorites in the European League this season. Leverkusen experienced a slightly disappointing result, they had to draw 2-2. However, in the second leg they have a big chance of winning, this time they will appear as hosts. That was an advantage for them even though they had to draw in the first leg.
