It worked for them in the Europa League for unknown reasons, but I never was of the opinion that they will soon do much better. Buying Ramos was a desperate move to get some big name into their team, but apart from that there was nothing to look forward to.

If you can assume Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen currently have good dominance also in the domestic league then I think, Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen at this moment have good quality also compared to the teams currently playing in the Champions League . Leverkusen has performed very well this season, in the Bundesliga and in the Europa League. they deserve to be favorites.
but I still think about Liverpool and also Roma. all strengths will be visible when the knockout round begins.
