I wouldn't be able to guarantee something like that to be fair. West Ham may not look like the best team in that league that is true, and Europa has teams like Liverpool and even the ones that will come from UCL and all that, but West Ham is not a small time club neither, they are quite strong and could definitely beat other teams and win it.

It has to be something that is special, they would have to beat some stronger teams but we have seen decent teams beat bigger teams last season as well. Look at how Sevilla won it last year, you will see that they have won it by beating bigger clubs along the way, teams that everyone assumed they would lose against, so there is really nothing shocking about it, that should be quite important.
We should never underrate any club in Europa league because every club have potential power to win a match and they're still the clubs that will struggle for matches this period. I'm more specific on EPL clubs, they will do better in the Europa League and winning becomes a tough one for these clubs this season. Westham United will only become confident to face Liverpool but all this doesn't matter because I'm not even sure if they will reach significant positions this season. We have UCL clubs that will be joining the league sooner than expected.

West Ham has only one match left in the EL, this is a home match with Freiburg and even a draw is enough for them to maintain first place, I think that this is a more than realistic task for them. They beat Freiburg away and will be able to at least get a draw. In any case, they have already secured access to the playoffs and all they have to do now is wait to see what opponent they will face in the play-offs.
I'm sure, no matter how big West Ham focus is on the Europa League, it certainly won't lead to West Ham getting the Europa League trophy. Not only that, although for example West Ham is focused only on the Europa League this season, but I am sure that even reaching the semi-finals will still be difficult for West Ham to achieve . So yes, even though at this moment West Ham looks better in the Europa League compared to the Premier League but still, West Ham does not have the chance and/or quality to get the Europa League trophy this season.

Westham added promising players to the squad because since selling Declan Rice to Arsenal, there was vacuum space but now they have new players that sets in and have enchanced their performance this season. Westham United are competitive this season, probably in all leagues they featured. The Hammers are here for excellent results and that's basically what they will get without any solid promises. David Moyes hands is choked with enough responsibilities this season and he won't hesitate to do what is expected from him and his squad.

West Ham United is an average team making the best out of their situation. I don't think they have the potential to achieve something of value in the Premier League, like the qualification for the Conference League at least. Last season they had to fear relegation for some time but could get away from it, but this season I don't see them getting into too much trouble either. It will probably be a midfield ranking for them.

The Europa League is a competition that suits West Ham United quite well. They will go into the next round and then have two legs with one being their home game and I think that's where things can become interesting.

Both teams have equal points, but West Ham is ahead in goal difference. In this case, 2 out of 3 results benefit West Ham, while 1 result benefits Freiburg. If Freiburg wants to become the leader, they absolutely have to beat West Ham away. The fact that the last match is in England and between these two teams increases the difficulty level of the match.
I doubt if west ham will give a chance to Freiburg to win and it's of course definitely going to be a tough game because West Ham playing from home and wanting to at same time maintain the top spot on the table amongst it's group members and to qualify in the first position so thy don't get to meet tough teams at the next round.

So much is at stake for West Ham, although regardless of the outcome, they are sure to qualify but then they will need to qualify in a way that will look more comfortable for them. Personally I think West Ham is at advantage and I expect they use it to secure three points by the end of the match, A draw will not do westham much good because they will have to make sure they have to get More goals to keep the lead but with Freiburg a draw still keeps them in the race to the top but then which ever team wins will finish the group stage at the first position.

Brighton vs Marseille.

Of the many matches that will be presented on matchday six, one of the matches between these two teams is quite interesting for me personally. This match will be held at the American Express Community's Stadium, Brighton's home ground. These two teams will both target full points, in order to be at the top of the group to get a ticket to qualify for the next round. which means, this match should present an exciting match. However, with the condition that both teams use an offensive system pattern. for De Zerby's squad, I won't doubt it because they need to win in this match.
For Gattuso's squad, I'm a little doubtful because they only need a draw to confirm their qualification for the next phase as group winners. So, there is a big possibility that Gattuso will get around it with multiple patterns. or, play a little deeper to strengthen the defense.

Uniquely, Marseille has not suffered a defeat even though two matches ended in a draw.
Likewise when these two teams met in the first leg at Marseille headquarters. the result of the match, ended with a score of 2-2.  In the sixth match day which will be held later, it will be a different match.
De Zerby will take advantage of the momentum of playing in front of his supporters and go all out. However, Marseille will not just let it go. which means they will also put up resistance.
For now, I don't want to speculate too far. However, referring to betting bookies, Brighton is more superior. But we will know for sure when the two teams meet on matchday six.

Anything can happen in a football match, no one can predict the outcome of a match or which team will win a competition with 100% accuracy. So far West Ham have performed well in the Europa League, but in the domestic league their performance has been very inconsistent. Regarding West Ham chances of winning the Europa League trophy, I am a little pessimistic, West Ham has not been able to perform consistently like Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool. Even though West Ham's determination is very high with good teamwork in every match, they will have difficulty winning trophies if they don't have a winning mentality.

Look at PSG, several seasons ago the squad PSG had was almost perfect, they were always considered the team that would win the UCL trophy with the luxurious squad they had. However, what happened was that it was very difficult for PSG to win the trophy because the team did not have a winning mentality.
Football has purely gone beyond predictions and history to current form and even still current form could kind of disappoint though, West Ham are a team doing pretty well in Europe but back in England they’re quite a shadow of themselves and their chances of winning the Europa League is quite slim especially with teams like Leverkusen and Liverpool still in the competition, but then if they're determined and work harder then winning the UEL would be possible.

The team is consistent but are they ready to fight with their all or just one side that could probably give up when things aren’t going so well in the match. They still have quite a long way to go in terms of improvement and when that’s done we can see them as a winning team.

Even though they are slumping in the premier league, West Ham has taken steps to focus on the European league. In this condition, it is normal for a club to prioritize bigger titles, and for me, West Ham is quite stable, but against Freiburg, it is likely that they will have big problems because Freiburg cannot be underestimated because the club it has a pretty good striker but I hope West Ham can go through.

West Ham will struggle all out to qualify for the next round. Although they played rather badly in EPL, it won't influence their good performance in Europa league. West Ham knows they must win because it is the only way to secure their status for the next round. I believe West Ham will got full points in the last match.

The sixth match at home to West Ham will provide a slight advantage for them who of course would prefer to be group winners rather than having to go through the playoff round to qualify for the round of 16, so it can be said that West Ham will qualify compared to Freiburg, especially in the away match they can beat Freiburg well especially in the sixth match later as home team.
West Ham's performance has indeed decreased in the English Premier League, but here they are still better and that is also what they showed last season, where European competitions had better results than local competitions.

I can't really sure about that. You have mentioned how bad the performance of westham in the EPL but you forgot that if westham is not performing so good in the europa league. I meant it has not yet tested against the strong team.
Do you forget if we have liverpool or even asroma as well? Westham hs going to face big rocks. It's impossible for westham to win europa league this season without getting a miracle.
We will see the real test to measure how capable westham to win the europa league this season. Europa league was just starting and we have not yet entered the difficult moment when there are some strong clubs are facing each other.

Westham must be ready for that time to come soon

West Ham and Freiburg have almost the same performance and in this last match the advantage was on West Ham side so they had to win the match so that they could be more secure in having place to qualify for the last 16.
West Ham will have name here and they will appear to be one of the dangerous team in the Europa League this season.
From the group A table it seem West Ham United and Freiburg are the only two teams that has the best performance because there points difference is not much, West Ham has 12 and Freiburg also has 12 points while the remaining two teams which is Olympiacos  and Backa Topola the both teams has been performing very poor this season which has made them not to have qualified so however they will be heading for qualification to conference league final stage since they did not qualify to Europa League next round.

However the match between West Ham United and Freiburg will be very difficult to predict the winner because the both teams performance are almost equal.

It has a chance to see some big names droping from Champions League this year, so i dont want to be in second position on europa league, because the odds are high that you ended up playing against Manchester United for example, or sevilla, or PSG/Newcastle. So better reach the first spot and avoid that.

However, their match is still in about 10 days and there is still enough time to prepare their performance to be able to beat each other, this is the only opportunity for West Ham to develop because in the Premier League they cannot do much.

What you say is correct, but if the final result is draw then West Ham will still have the advantage and remain in first place.
At least in this match West Ham can put pressure on Freiburg and make it difficult for them to play well.
West Ham defense looks better than Freiburg, so this match will be quite fierce match.

@Hirose UK despite losing Rice West Ham has remained strong in this competition and thus I’m expecting them to win this match because so far they’re a genuine team to win this competition. Furthermore the home advantage will definitely matter a lot because if their fan’s can create heavy noise then it’ll further boost West Ham player’s confidence and potentially disturb Freiburg player’s attention.

Well I think there's no easy opponents when it comes to major tournaments, because the group stage is made up of the best teams that finish 5th and 6th in their various domestic league and no team is to be underestimated because you never can tell how prepared your opponents are for the competition, well right by saying that Westham's chances of winning the tournament is very slim but if they're very determined and work harder, then it's very possible.

Take for example, Leicester city came from relegation into the EPL and won the trophy in the 2015-2016 season, where there was the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool,  Manchester United and City, it wasn't by luck or miracle but it was by determination and good effort, coupled with a good relationship amongst eachother on the pitch, so if westham could emulate that and work harder, then winning a major trophy could be possible.

You did not understand the idea that I am trying to convey: in the 1/8 finals of the Europa League, the first places in the groups will play against the winners of the pairs “second places in the Europa League versus third places in the Champions League.” Therefore, any team that takes first place in the group can ultimately meet with a very strong team from the Champions League - straight into the 1/8. The actual benefit of taking first place is that you don't have to play an extra two games to get to the 1/8 finals.

If the first-ranked team of the Europa League directly plays against the third-ranked team of the Champion League, then the second-ranked team of the Europa League plays against the team from where? Is that the idea you are referring to? After all, the structure as it has happened so far I think has been the right composition because ya, as the winner of the group it should get the privilege . But even so, eventually the third-placed team in the Champions League will play against the first-placed team in the Europa League in the next phase if they win the play offs.

No. The Europa League Round of 16 structure is as follows: 1st place from the group stage versus 2nd place from the group stage/third place from the Champions League.
The idea is that right from the 1/8, even if you took first place in the group, you can get PSG.
For me, this whole system is absurd and personally I would like this tournament to be held in isolation without mixing teams from other tournaments. The composition of the tournament participants should be immediately visible at the start of the tournament.

West Ham is really doing well at proving beyond reasonable doubts how well they can perform in any situation, both in the premier league and the champions league they have really been brilliant with their performance and at some point they exhibited some level of consistency tho not enough to have gotten them to top spot.
Yeah indeed West Ham United has proven beyond doubt that they are really in a good form this season in all the league they are into especially this Europa League because the good number of matches they have won gives me the believe that they will surely go far on this season league because considering how good in performance Arsenal is I never imagine that West Ham United could possibly win them and also win Chelsea, they have actually created a good records for them this season.

However they have been leading on there Europa League group from day one of the league but however the only challenge they have is Freiburg because they are also very much in a good form this season and has win many of there matches and they are currently at the second position on there group table with the same points as West Ham United and even leading West Ham United with  goals aggregates so however there both next match will surely be a tough one because the chances of West Ham United to advance more on there group table is dependent on there wining while the chances of Freiburg to enter the first place on there table is also depends on there wining so the interest of the both teams to win each other's will make the match more tougher.

Depending on team's luck. I meant as long as the club would always be facing the easy opponent and the chance to win europa league becomes so big. Look at how it was performing in EPL. Westham was always losing against liverpool. Im not thinking westham is in the same level as some clubs like leverkusen too. Im not underrating westham but i just say based on the fact. There is also probability for acmilan or newcastle to go down as well as united from other group. The chance for westham to win the title is very small.
Westham has been placing in the easy group. It makes westham looks so strong but you shall wait till it will be playing at the knock out stage. Im wondering what club that is going to be the next opponent for westham.

Im not expecting a hard club but none knows. it may be newcastle or acmilan. this totally depends on the result from UCL as well. I hope westham to face a strong club.
You will able to see whether westham is worthy enough to take europa league trophy this season or not.
