This season's Leverkusen performance excites me. Their Bundesliga and Europa League performances are outstanding. Winning all their group stage matches under Xabi Alonso shows their skill and strategy. They're strong title candidates, and I admire them. Liverpool's voyage is also remarkable. Winning four of five in a tough tournament while playing in the EPL is impressive. Their resilience and quality are apparent, and I believe they can win the Europa League. An fascinating campaign awaits, with Leverkusen and Liverpool as my best picks.

It cannot be denied, I was impressed when Leverkusen played match after match both in the Bundesliga and in this competition. especially, against Dortmund last week. What happened in the Leverkusen camp involved many parties and not only Xabi Alonso as their architect. However, the Leverkusen players played a big role very well and followed the guidance and direction under the coach. In the end, this team played very solidly and they paid for it with hard work.

It would be very natural if there were many who said that Leverkusen was one of the strong candidates to win this competition title. despite the fact, we never know what will happen in the next matches. In fact, I started to idolize Xabi Alonso and several Bayer Leverkusen players. Don't ask Granit Xhaka, I really liked this player when he was still in Arsenal uniform. Likewise what other teams have said, in fact we agree with that.

Unfortunately, in football there are many things that we cannot predict. It's possible that in the end it will be a team that wins this competition that we didn't expect. Therefore, there's no harm in just following every development.

You remember correctly. Being second in the UEL means facing the third-place teams from the UCL. That's why first place is much more important in UEL than second place. There are very strong teams from UCL that will join the UEL and the championship chances of these teams are quite high. That's why UEL is getting more exciting at this stage.
Yes very well said, and this is why teams like Liverpool and Leverkusen are making sure to get pass the group stage in the first position so they will aswell not have a difficult time at the round of sixteen giving them an edge at the semi finals and quarter finals respectively.

The Europa league at this point will be getting more interesting and though, personally the fun I'm getting from the europa is more interesting than that which I get from other leagues, the UCL team are really going to prove tough against the teams they will facing in the Europa because they will be hoping to get something out of the Europa since they couldn't make it thorough the UCL so most of the Europa teams may end their journey at that point.
Teams that finish second the group stages of the UEFA Europa League competition do face first teams that qualifed to the knockout stages of the competition after finishing third in their respective groups in the UEFA Champions League and that's why big teams in the Europa League are doing everything possible to avoid a second place finish as it'll help them meet lesser quality teams in the round of 32 of the competition. Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen who are regarded as the best teams in the competition this season are currently at the top of their respective groups and have already cemented their places as the group winners of their respective groups as well.

The group stages of the UEFA Europa League competition is almost over as we have just one match week left in the group stage before the start knockout stages of the competition which will kickoff in February next year. The knockout stages of the competition is undoubtedly the most interesting stage of the competition and I can't wait to see the third placed teams in the UEFA Champions League competition join the Europa League

After the latest changes in odds Roma and Brighton can also be preferred over Liverpool - Leverkusen duo for winning the Europa League title in my opinion. Because I would like to go for a more unexpected team with higher odds when it comes to making a long-term bet. I think like "Why would I just bet on Liverpool at much lower odds?".  Grin

But truthfully Brighton are the least team I really believe in to win the championship. Because they have had a complicated group stage so far. But I will give them that about their performance in their last 3 group matches.

They had better do their best here if they aim to join the Champions League directly. Because it is much more difficult to do it in the Premier League for them.

Well for me the Europa League is a very useful opportunity for clubs that have difficulty winning titles in the domestic league. I mean this, when a club in the Premier League for example they are in the Europa League, I am very sure they will prioritize the Premier League even though it might only be in the top 4, especially if it gets the title there. It is true that when they win the Europa League, they will automatically be in the Chmpions League too. But from what I have seen so far is that more big clubs make their domestic league a priority, especially if it is the Premier League.

And what does it mean when big clubs make their league a priority? Have you ever seen a big club in the Europa League quarterfinals to play with their B team? I have never seen that. Every time their are bigger clubs playing in the Europa League for whatever reason, maybe they missed the qualification in the league last year or got eliminated from the Champions League, they play with their best players in the Europa League no matter who the opponent is in the domestic league the weekend after. I am all ears to let you convince me that I am wrong. Just show me a game in the Europa League final round where a team did not play with the best players because they prioritized the domestic league.
What I mean by priority here is that when they lose then they don't have a deep disappointment about it. Regarding the main plyers they always play in every match, of course they will always do so, because after all they want to get the best.
If we compare their ambitions in the Champions League and the Europa League for example, I can see that their ambitions in the Champions League will be greater. I'm not underestimating the Europa League at all, but we can see from the list of clubs that won here are clubs that rarely won titles in the domestic league, whereas, in fact, every season there are always big clubs here.

Actually this does not only apply in the Europa League, in all competitions big clubs have the opportunity to be defeated by small clubs and even with a very significant difference. I don't know if the big clubs in the Europa League are currently serious in the Europa League or not, because like it or not I have to say that the Europa League is less prestigious because this is the second level after the Champions League. And even those who often get titles in this Europa League can be said to be still controlled by medium-sized clubs, even though there are big clubs joined here.
Very few people realize that surprises actually happen more often in the Europa League and in fact they do, I agree with you on this. In simple terms, the most interesting thing here apart from the championship trophy is the ticket to play in the Champions League. This is the target of clubs that have the toughest competitive level in their domestic league, such as those who play in the English Premier League. So far, even though Liverpool is the favorite club to win the championship trophy, we have to look at the facts of the standings too.

The real test for liverpool has not yet started as well as leverkusen. We will be seeing the real performance from this team after it's going to face a strong club in the knock out stage. I remember leverkusen last season. It was losing against a mediocre club.
Xabi needs to make sure leverkusen will not repeat the same mistake again. I was favoring liverpool but im not willing to call liverpool become a team with biggest probability of winning the trophy.
In european league everything can happen. Even the big club can be beaten by the small club. This is why im not so optimistic by saying liverpool is going to win it with easy game.
People are also favoring roma too but it was always losing against praha. it means the strong club is not always giving guarantee for the club to win the trophy. It was only increasing the chance.

Laverkusen is the team that recorded perfect points, and is followed by Marseille and Atalanta who have never been touched by defeat. Even though the European League is different in caste and prestige from the UCL, in fact what is being offered here also attracts the attention of all of us. I think, if Newcastle enters here via the play offs later, then they should be watched out for and favorites too. We will wait for the group phase to end, and see how the favorite teams we mentioned above show their performance in the knock out round.

This season the European League is no less prestigious than the Champions League, especially since many of the best clubs are there. Like Liverpool, this season their performance is starting to improve from last season. Not to mention if later Sevilla will also join in the competition for champions in the European League. Moreover, we know that Sevilla is the holder of the most titles in this competition and their record is that they have never lost in the final round.
The prospect of Newcastle making the jump to the Europa League actually excites me a lot. They might cause a lot of disruptions because of their enthusiasm and ambition. Of course, their first challenge is to overcome AC Milan, which is no easy task. Nevertheless, what if they did? I mean, we love football drama, especially when it involves facing off against Brighton or Liverpool. Nevertheless, it seems a little early to discuss Sevilla at this point. Prior to being taken into consideration as potential Europa League contenders, they have their own obstacles to overcome. There would be much more interest in the competition if they were to succeed. I'm excited for what might be some incredible matches

I will be very happy if the Newcastle team can qualify for the Europa League. If this team can qualify for the Europa League, they will try their best to win the Europa League title. Because Newcastle is not a strong team to qualify for the Champions League. Even winning the Premier League title is impossible for them. But winning the Europa League title is possible for them, if they can maintain the consistency of performance. The players of this team are confident. They have the potential to do well in the Europa League.
The performance of the Sevilla team is very weak this time. They are not doing well in La Liga. The team's main goal now should be to stay in the top 10 of the table in La Liga.

Sevilla chances of entering the Europa League are very slim because in the Champions League group phase Sevilla is at the bottom and has the fewest points. Even though Sevilla is very experienced in the Europa League, it look like this season Sevilla will not be there so this is good news for the clubs that currently competing in the European league.
It seems like it would be better for Sevilla to play directly in the European league rather than the Champions League, but because they were champions last season in this tournament which gives them an automatic ticket to play in a more difficult competition, it's a shame to see that Sevilla hasn't even been able to win a single match in the Champions League. Of course, it would be quite different if they competed in the European League, although it is not a certainty because the competition each season will be very different, it's just that Sevilla's chance of getting third place in Group B is very difficult, so next season Sevilla will not play in any European competition because their ranking in La Liga is very bad.

Bayer Leverkusen and Liverpool will be counted as favorite teams so that at the time of the draw it will be quite profitable because they will face teams that are considered weak in this tournament so maybe we can predict that both teams will qualify for the quarter-finals but the semifinals will be quite different, especially the final.

In this group phase ofcourse, Liverpool and Bayer Leverkusen do not get any big obstacles to become the winner of the group even though indeed, Liverpool has also received 1 defeat but still, Liverpool will still be the winner in the group. Because ya, it seems that the difficult match for them will probably occur in the semifinals later, because of course in that phase they will play against a team that is even better than the previous matches. But indeed, because Liverpool is a team with above-average quality, it is not surprising that Liverpool is highly favored to win the Europa League trophy this season.

But can't a difficult game happen right away in the 1/8? If I remember correctly the regulations, the second places in the groups will play knockout matches with the clubs that will take third place in the groups in the Champions League. These can be very strong clubs like PSG, Milan or Newcastle. And then the first places in the group stage of the Europa League will play with the winners of these games.

Yes, that's right, because competition in the European League is just as fierce as in the Champions League, Newcastle is indeed an elite clubs in the EPL, but we don't forget that Liverpool is also competing in the European League, so if Newcastle is relegate from the Champions League, it will make competition in the European League even more competitive for us. will see elite clubs fighting to show their best performance and don't forget that Leverkusen will be the difference this season and will be a challenger for the big EPL club in fighting for the European League title this season.

So far Liverpool and Leverkusen have not encountered any obstacles because they have not yet found opponents of equal quality to them, but in the Europa League competition there will be many surprises and it cannot be denied that if we look at the strength of the current teams, Liverpool and Leverkusen are two a team that has strength above the average of other teams in the Europa League at the moment, but we don't yet know which teams from the UCL will go down to the Europa League, but these teams are also worth considering.

This is what I keep saying.
Leverkusen and Liverpool are very good teams that are in very good form at the moment. They play well and score goals even though they both concede, but we can't really test how far they can go in the Europa league because they have not faced any real challenge yet. This is still the group stage and there are 4 more stages in the knock out stage before the final. It's going to be very difficult for both teams, regardless of how good that team is.
Last season all eyes were on Arsenal and Juventus but they couldn't make it to the final, not to talk of winning it.
Leverkusen have met two big teams in the Bundesliga and they couldn't win anyone, that should tell you a lot.
Yes, it's true that Leverkusen and Liverpool could be candidates to qualify for the next round. It's even possible that both clubs will reach the final round, although we can't be sure which clubs that don't qualify for the Champions League will move to the European League. Liverpool and Leverkusen are still candidates. who deserves to get a trophy in the European league.
Maybe the journey is still a little long and it too early to speculate who will win the title here, but seeing the performance of these two popular clubs makes me confident that one of these clubs will be the cup holder this season and I choose Leverkusen who will lift the european League cup this season.

West Ham are really ambitious in the Europa League this time. They qualified for the Europa Conference League finale before you know. I don't see any reason preventing them from doing it in the Europa League as well. They are already among the title contenders.

Maybe they aren't the biggest title contender but Europa League is always open for seeing new champions. Even Frankfurt became the champions for example. Maybe the biggest title contenders such as Liverpool, Leverkusen and Roma will fail unlike the expectations. West Ham can get one step forward in this case.
We have not developed a mindset or an idea of the team that will lifts thr European title this season, because watching these matches, I dropped my remarks about these team's performance. Westham United have proven themselves worthy to compete in tough race this season, David Moyes feels satisfied with the incredible performance of his club. They're already topping the Group A table with 12 points, were we have the likes of Freiburg, Olympiakos and Bačka Topola. There's nothing too serious ongoing in the European league for the Hammers because they're now aiming for significant spots.
Since we have not yet seen what's gonna be te next opponent for the club and i think that westham has small chance to go to the next stage , i meant the stage after 16. In fact, some clubs will be dropped from UCL.
It will be a gambling for westham. It will be so good if westham will get an easy opponent but it will be so bad if westham will not get a stronig club as its opponent.
There are some clubs in UCL that will send strong candidates to the eiropa league caused by they have been placed at the third place. Liverpool, westham and leverkusen must be careful.
The clubs from UCL will be also threatening all of them. The performance from liverpool and westham are not thaqt good now.

Roma has also got a good coach who by the records have achieved so much in his time as a Coach with other teams, it turns out that with Roma he seem not to be at his very best as he was known, there are too many inconsistency with his performance so far, one of which includes him struggling in their domestic league but doing seemingly better with the Europa league, I don't know what could be the issues but then they have got a good team with which they could perform better than they are doing now.
Of course, Roma has a good coach. No one doubts the quality of Mourinho as an experienced coach. But his quality doesn't guarantee for the good performance of the team. We can see that AS Roma is still rather inconsistently in playing this season. I hope Mourinho will find the way to maintain the good performance of this team.

It's not true. How can you call that slavia praha has worst squad compared to the asroma? Have you seen the board before? Roma was also losing against slavia praha. Slavia praha is the strongest team in the group. Roma seems nothing compared with slavia praha.
Dude, we are talking about the quality of the clubs. No doubt that AS Roma has the best quality players among the other clubs in group G. If Slavia Praha can lead the table, it is because they can play more solidly as a team. A strong team doesn't always win the match, they can be defeated if they underestimate the opponent or if they use the wrong tactics. For the squad quality, AS Roma is surely the best among them.

If Newcastle were to play in Europe, that doesn't mean they could easily beat the clubs in the European League.

If PSG wins their match against Dortmund on matchday six of the Champions League group phase, it means that Newcastle and AC Milan will have to fight to get tickets to the Europa League playoffs. but let's just say, if Newcastle qualify for this competition and dethrone AC Milan. and as you said, it doesn't mean that Eddie Howe's squad will easily beat the clubs competing in this league. because after all, there are several other strong teams ready to face Newcastle. one of them, clubs that compete with each other in the Premier League, namely, Liverpool or perhaps Brighton will be their tough opponents, especially if De Zerby's squad is able to overthrow Marseille in the last match in the group B phase. Apart from that, there is Leverkusen who are ready to face Newcastle if they meet.

So, the point is that it is not necessarily easy for Newcastle to compete in the Europa League. even then, if Newcastle is able to overthrow AC Milan. However, if the situation is reversed, it means that Milan has the right to get a ticket to the European League playoffs. now we are talking about Sevilla, honestly let's not talk about them going to compete in this competition. to overthrow Lens on matchday six, they may not be able to do it. So, before we talk about Sevilla appearing in this competition, they have to prove it first by finishing in 3rd place in the Group B phase.

It's true what you say, since the start West Ham has been quite consistent with 13 wins and 1 draw in the playoffs before playing against Fiorentina last time. And they have shown that until match 5, West Ham is in first place at the moment, even though Freiburg can already be said to have qualified for the next phase, in the final match who will be the decider?
of them will occupy the first ranking position. All the teams that qualify for the round of 16 will have the same chance of winning this league cup. Even though a big team like Liverpool will always be an idol or favorite for its fans. Big teams are not necessarily a guarantee of winning and in football there will definitely be surprises in the match, small teams will beat big teams. West Ham, Slavia Prague and Atlanta will have the potential to surprise in the last 16.

If Newcastle were to play in Europe, that doesn't mean they could easily beat the clubs in the European League.
