I admit that Leverkusen are in top form and have performed very consistently which marks a great season, even better than Atalanta in certain aspects. However, Atalanta should not be ignored either. Although they were beaten by Juventus after their impressive winning streak, this clearly showed their strength but also their resilience to come back. Atalanta's win against Liverpool did boost their confidence and showed their ability to compete with top teams, but the consistency they showed made them a strong contender in the league and thus continued to survive.

While Leverkusen may be favored based on their season form, Atalanta's improved form, especially in high-stakes encounters puts them ahead in terms of victory. Both teams are equally capable and have the potential to become winners, therefore we anticipate an interesting and even balanced match.

It must not be a problem for atalanta. Roma has three points gap to the atalanta, atalanta has 2 unplayed matches. It will give atalanta 6 points. It's almost impossible for roma to qualify for the UCL. Atalanta needs only 1 point more in order to keep UCL spot next season. Im sure atalanta have been prioritizing the fight against torino and leverkusen.

It will be a perfect result if atalanta will able to secure UCL and europa league. Winning against leverkusen will help atalanta to qualify for UCL through getting europa league.


NO doubt since leverkusen is invicible. Atalanta may be the team that will break the invicible record owner by leverkusen. gesperini must order his club to play passively and relying upon its counter attack against leverkusen.

For Atalanta to lose their current position of finishing the season in the top five of the Italian Serie A table, they must lose their last two games of the season while Roma wins theirs with over 9 goals margin and that's why I think it's almost impossible to stop Atalanta from playing in the UEFA Champions League competition come next season. This Wednesday, Atalanta will travel to Dublin in United Kingdom to face Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League final game and are very focused in that game because if they for any reason defeat German champions Bayer Leverkusen, it'll definite their season asca club.

Atalanta is indeed struggling for another Champions League spot through the Seria A top four spot which can be achieved if they win their last two Seria A matches which will be played after the UEFA Europa League final against the German Bundesliga’s champions Bayer Leverkusen.

If Atalanta can win Leverkusen, then they will be very happy and the team will be the luckiest team this season because defeating a team that has gone the whole season without being defeated in all competitions will be very difficult especially in a final match which will make them to win treble for the season for the first time. Therefore, I am not seeing any chance on paper for Atalanta to win this title, but they can still be lucky to win it.

Leverkusen is having a remarkable season that makes people think that they are way better than Atalanta. However, Looking at the last several games, Atalanta have been having a great consistency where they are have a long winning streak that grant them a ticket to play in Champions League next season. The loss against Juventus is a setback that brings doubt about Atalanta to win against a good team.

The win over Liverpool have made them gaining a confidence booster, and since then, they have a great consistency in the league. Leverkusen is consistent at not losing games, but they were having draws in last some games. Considering all these, I think Leverkusen and Atalanta share a fair chance to win the trophy, but just Leverkusen is a bit more favorite due to their this season records.   

As far as I know, Atalanta has secured a ticket to the Champions League next season through the Serie A standings because AS Roma was unable to catch them so if Atalanta is defeated in the European League final match, it doesn't matter, they already have tickets or vice versa Atalanta win then they have 2 tickets. We know that most people predict Leverkusen has a greater chance of winning the trophy but basically there is no reason to underestimate Atalanta because Atalanta has a good history before reaching the final.

Last season Europa League final was one example, when AS Roma was the main favorite but in the end Sevilla managed to win it, we really don't know what scenario will happen especially if the match has to end through a penalty shootout. Leverkusen and Atalanta are teams that have strong defenses so there is a possibility that the match will end in a draw.

Leverkusen are one level above Atalanta, Xabi Alonso squad unbeatable reputation convinces everyone to bet on them. If you can't beat Juventus, then clearly Atalanta won't be able to beat Leverkusen either, unless Atalanta achieves a miracle and Leverkusen plays very badly. Therefore, even though the match will be fierce, I think Leverkusen has the strength to overcome Atalanta resistance later.

Expectations for Atalanta are higher because they were surprisingly able to get rid of Liverpool, but in reality their strength and consistency are still far behind Leverkusen. However, Atalanta success in reaching the final deserves appreciation, they have shown tireless hard work. Now everyone is waiting for the Europa League final, to see how Leverkusen defend their impressive record against Atalanta.

Sorry guys, I want to correct a little about what you said if Atlanta is still struggling in Serie A for the champions league zone, previously I wanted to say if this season Serie A gets 5 slots for the team to play in the champions league next season, while Atlanta is now ranked 5th in the Serie A standings with 66 points, while Roma who are ranked 63 points and only 3 points behind Atlanta,  If Atlanta lose their last two remaining games, of course Atlanta still has a better points difference than Roma, so indeed for now Atlanta no longer need to fight to reach the Champions League zone next season because indeed they have long had a tickets.

Currently, Atlanta is definitely focusing on the European League final as their main target this season and in my opinion they no longer have a burden on Serie A after they succeeded in securing a place in the Champions League next season, when we look at Leverkusen performance which is indeed in very good condition and even being able to maintain an unbeaten record, of course it is not surprising if they have a greater chance of winning the European league this season.

Even though I am a fan of Italian football, I still think that Leverkusen is the closest to winning the final. Atalanta is indeed difficult to predict. This club is always full of surprises when facing a strong team. but sometimes they still make mistakes in completing an attack. As happened in the Coppa Italia Final match against Juventus. Atalanta wasted too many opportunities. So this will make us doubt them in the European League Final. Leverkusen looks better prepared. And their unbeaten record is still strong to this day.

Atalanta is still fighting for some Champions LEague spot on Serie A, so maybe they can come to the final with a Champions LEague next seasons ecured, or more tired and without that, is a minor thing but in the overall analisys still a important thing to know when we are gonna analize the final.

Until now LEverkusen is 65% odds and Atalanta 35% odds for me.

The final is a very important match to win. Every club that is able to reach the final will show their best performance. Surprises can indeed happen but it is unlikely because this is not a match in the domestic league where the favorite club can still lose, but for international competitions I think the clubs will appear different and more impressive, especially with Bayer Leverkusen's performance this season. I am very confident that this club will win the UEL title. I have more confidence in German clubs at the moment than Serie A clubs.

Even though Atalanta's performance is getting better in Serie A, that doesn't change my belief about Bayer Leverkusen, this club has shown its impressive performance even until the match in the Bundesliga has ended and Bayer Leverkusen finished in first place without losing so if you judge it in terms of performance I think Bayer Leverkusen is better than Atalanta in every way.

If you ask me who is the club that is capable of winning Europa League, I will say that it is Leverkusen base on current form and current match achievements this season. It is clear that Leverkusen have achieved success this season and that alone will tell you that they are out of or business this season.

Atalanta is a team that is unpredictable but they need to come up with the fighting spirit to fight till the end just like the spirit of Leverkusen, also Atalanta should not let Leverkusen lead the match if not they might not be able to equalize the goal, just might own thoughts.

Even if Atalanta could lead the aggregate of the previous meetings, it can't reflect the current condition of both teams. Leverkusen has changed to be a totally different team for this season. It is no longer the past Leverkusen, it is a new Leverkusen which is a very strong team. Since Xabi managed Leverkusen, this team gradually changes to be a different team. So, the results of H2H in previous meeting can't be the consideration to predict the result of the upcoming Europa league final.

Of course, the unbeaten status in all the competitions is a clear proof that Leverkusen is the favorite team to win the Europa league trophy. Atalanta is surely not a weak team, they could finish in the top 5 in Serie A. Atalanta also can reach the Coppa Italia final although they were defeated by Juventus. This team performed quite well in this season. However, I assume it is not enough to challenge Bayer Leverkusen. Although we can't underestimate Atalanta but I really believe that the trophy of Europa league this season will be for Leverkusen team.

This fact is because last season Leverkusen did not perform very well, what happened in the middle of the season is still unclear because there are still many matches left and Leverkusen is still not considered capable of giving a surprise this season. Now what is happening, everyone is praising Leverkusen's success in ending the season without once experiencing defeat.
The surprise presented by Leverkusen has made other clubs reluctant to face it, this time Atalanta will test Leverkusen toughness after both managed to qualify for the final. Leverkusen must perform optimally if they don't want their unbeaten record to end at the hands of Atalanta.

By every standards the odds are in favour of Bayer Leverkusen and they really do appear to be favoured in their form so far as they have been able to really get to impress almost everyone in the Europa aswell as in their domestic league by their thrilling performance this season that have gotten them to this point that they have been able to have achieved this much already, they have aswell gotten to win their domestic league title with a record.

Leverkusen is definitely going to make a huge record across Europe that is actually uncommon amongst most of the teams and players especially if they get to win the Europa and I'm very sure they will become most sorted after players on the list of players most teams will be scouting this season but then I still believe that they would want to stay in Leverkusen awhile and not just leave the team after such a huge successful season which is actually really rare amongst German team and Europe as a whole, I also believe another factor will be with the coach, his presence will determine if some players would want to stay back or leave.

Some of these players have gotten usee to the technicalities of Xabi and may not be able to really get along with that of others almost immediately and that may even influence their exit if they get a good offer but if he's staying back I'm sure some of the players would turn down some offers to stay back at Leverkusen and still do one more season with him before they may think of exiting probably by the next season.

Well, this will also affect Atalanta's mentality, because they failed to compete for the title in the domestic competition, and in terms of performance their opponents in that match were no better than the opponents they will face in the final match of the European League. So once again it will make it look like they will lose in the final match.
However, this is not something that is certain, I mean no matter what they will still have a chance of beating Leverkusen even though that chance is small.
In Serie A they only need 1 more point to ensure they will be able to go to the Champions League next season. However, they also definitely want to go to the Champions League through a ticket to become European League champions, because apart from getting an automatic ticket to the Champions League, they will also get a trophy here. We'll see to what extent they can make Leverkusen lose to them. This seems difficult, but we'll see.

Recently, Atalanta played the Italian Cup final with Juventus, and although Juventus is now far from its optimal condition, Atalanta could not beat them. And it will be even more difficult for them against Bayer, so yes Bayer is the favorite in this final.

It is true that their meeting record actually has a pretty good record for Atalanta, but the problem is that it happened in the past and we can see the difference in performance between past and present, where there has been a difference that is even quite significant for Leverkusen. For Atalanta there may not be any significant changes, but once again we can see how extraordinary Leverkusen is this season.

Maybe the meeting record will be one that will make Atalanta more motivated to beat Leverkusen again. Because no matter how small, what happened before can be a big motivation. Moreover, they will definitely be motivated to defeat Leverkusen, they will really want to be the team that succeeds in doing that, and maybe if that happens then they will be the only team that has managed to beat Leverkusen this season. But of course that is not something easy to do, because Leverkusen is in its best phase.

Even though the depth of Leverkusen squad looks ordinary when compared to elite European teams, the strategy implemented by Xabi has succeeded in bringing out the potential in each of their players.

It seems that Atalanta, who is in the best version of their game, will not be able to beat Leverkusen, because the overall statistics of the two teams are very different. Expectations for Atalanta were very high after they managed to get rid of Liverpool, but that was not enough, as Leverkusen was also able to beat a team at Bayern level this season.

So without underestimating Atalanta, I think Leverkusen really deserves to be the favorite. Xabi fleet is now on the verge of a rare history, which may never be matched by any team in the future, achieved the treble Winner by never being defeated.
