Though it was widely believed that had FC Porto defeated Manchester United in their UEFA Europa League encounter last weekend, Erik ten Hag would've been sacked but I don't think that's true. My opinion is based on the confidence the Dutchman have on the club's management and how's he's been telling the media that he has a long term plan with the club management which is why he's still getting all the backings he's enjoying at the moment. Even after failing to win at Aston Villa yesterday, he still made statements that suggests that he's still very much in charge so wether Harry Maguire had scored that last minute equalizer at Porto last week or not, I feel Manchester United management would've still retained their club manager

This is certainly not a good start for Roma because they only got 1 point so far.

Yes I agree, but I think there isn't this one huge favorite in the competition. All of the teams mentioned do have problems at the moment. Tottenham just lost to Brighton, Manchester United dropped points, Roma is having trouble, Lazio is doing ok, but isn't that good either.

But despite their loss I think Tottenham is among the favorites in the Europa League and at the end of the day it is not the Premier League and teams that have been doing so so in the domestic league have won the Europa League in the past. Best example here is of course Sevilla when they were struggling hard in La Liga and yet won the Europa League title despite playing against some of the best teams.

Even after been one of the top favorite, Manchester united is still struggling to be able to get to the top of the table or even be amongst the top teams who are already at the top of the table and i see that as supposed to be an issue for the whole team but then their coach is still reluctant, Lazio, Tottenham and the others at the top five are just exactly where they were expected to be and its totally fine because they are actually doin so well already and will make the title race much more easier as they will be battling for the title, hopefully Manchester united joins the race before it ends.

Manchester United, who have drawn two matches in two matches, may not be among the top eight in the Europa League. However, this is not a problem, if they are among the next eight teams, they will still be in the matches.
