This is not good news for Galatasaray fans, Osimhen's injury means that Osimhen will not be able to help his team in the two matches that Galatasaray will play in the domestic competition against Alanyaspor next week and when visiting Rigas FS tomorrow. To be honest I also don’t like this new champions league group stage format, first players will have to play so much matches, especially in the beginning of the season, most big clubs are in every competition in the beginning of season so they will have to play twice in a week at least and that too much work load. We saw Rodri (Manchester city) carvajal (real Madrid) and so many players complaining about the fixtures schedule been so tight and they barely have time to rest or even to spend quality time with their family.

Another reason I don't like this new champions league group stage format is that, Big matches won't have value again like big matches that we are suppose to watch maybe in the knock out stage or even in the quarter finals or semi finals will now be watch in the group stage, and the players approach towards the match won't be that serious because It just a group stage match. I wish this format won't last and it should be changed to the former format we are used to.

I think the new format is more interesting but indeed, this kind of schedule is unfortunate because teams or players don't get a good break. Thus, if the organizers can arrange the schedule with more leisure, then it will be good for maintaining the fitness of each player. Osimhen may not have been as good at his former club as he seems happy at his current club Galatasaray. Now let's hope that he can do well in European competitions and contribute well for his team so that the big clubs in Europe will offer him next season.
