No chance for Sevilla, nobody will see them in Europa this season unfortunately, I lost a lot because of them I thought their destiny was Europa. And in fact also no chance for United, equally out. To think both teams did so well in Europa, and played like shit in Champions League.

Best team to win it, still Liverpool? Klopp plays B squad there though so my doubts is heavy on them. Brighton? Maybe Villareal? lol

yeah, Sevilla is out and that leaves a space for a fight there
Liverpool is certainly a best team in competition, but looking at odds tomorrow against Royale does bring a question
Union Royale win is @2.15, while Liverpool DC not to lose is @1.7, had to check did Royale rented some Haaland and Alvarez in attack for tomorrow, but they obviously didn't, it is just bookies prediction Liverpool would not be interested for tomorrow match
still, it is a value bet @1.7 them not to lose, IMO

God is great
Nice and comfortable 4-0 win for Liverpool, into the last 16 as group winners. We can forget this competition until March now.

Eyes on much bigger prizes, full focus on the Premier League now.
Who wouldn't settle for the important trophies? Jurgen Klopp is keen on bouncing his team back to good form, more reason to win the Europa league trophy because that will cover the tracks of their errors and boosts them back so strong. We expects Liverpool to win matches against these average clubs that doesn't reach their standards. I don't know how you look at Liverpool, but for me, I've already seen them in the Europa League final this season. There's no threat for the Reds yet, one of the major reasons they're thrashing any clubs as if it's nothing.
I think Liverpool are very ready to get Europa league trophy this season because this will be an automatic entrance for them to be qualify for champions league.  Liverpool is also doing great in performance in premier league that's to say their coach is really working hard and has improved the team. With the current performance of Liverpool it is certain that they will end up with the season with a trophy. It is so Interesting seeing Liverpool doing well in the Europa League. I was expecting because the target of having more points in premier league Liverpool will not take the Europa league games serious,  but they are still doing well in their performance.

Do you really think that Manchester United deserved their spot in either the Champions League or the Europa League as you said? I think Copenhagen is going to make their dream become true and win the game at home against Galatasaray, which would immensely reduce the chances for Manchester United to play any of the two competitions unless they win their game against Bayern Munich. A draw would not be enough as they only got 1 point out of the two games against Galatasaray.

I have had reservations about Man Utd presence in the UCL right from when they qualified at the expense of Liverpool playing in the Europa league. It should be Liverpool in the Champions league. So I've been following up on man Utd games and so far so good, they lack consistency — win today, lose next 2 games. Man Utd is currently in a tight corner and there's only a tiny chance that they would qualify but this is football. The Europa league will be much more interesting when teams like Man Utd join the tournament after elimination from the champions league. This would be interesting.

I suppose there really is nothing after Champions League, huh. No mentions anywhere about the ambitions of 2nd-tier teams (including Liverpool?).

At least we know already Barca won't drop down here for a third season running -- but are we perhaps going to welcome Man United? Wouldn't mind it, to be honest, with the way they're playing.

I'm happy to welcome Man Utd to the UEL after their lacklustre run of performance in the UCL this season. Despite going 2 up yesterday, they ended up sharing a point. Now that's the kind of team that should be in the UEL.

Btw, Sevilla is working very hard to get back to the Europa league . They were up on two occasions yesterday against PSV and managed to fold in the later minutes to lose 2-3 at home to PSV.

Barcelona and Manchester United are not the same thing in UCL this season, Barcelona performance is impressive and consistent while Manchester United flops in the general pattern of the game. I'm confident Barcelona pattern of game will not dropped now, atlest the coach and the players have a good thing going this season. There are clubs in UEFA Champions League but they don't belong there due to the strategy and general stats of their performance in league games. Often, I would call it luck because it doesn't stand proper.

It was about time to have few goals in Europa League but I'm shocked about current score of Freiburg vs Olympiakos because 5-0 is more than harsh for a team like Olympiacos who are not used at all to concede so many goals in just 1 game...because after all we all know Greece teams knows very well how to defend.

Let’s get this qualification stamped tonight. After Klopp revealed the extent of Alisson & Jota injuries it will be interesting to see what happens over the next 2 weeks.
Kelleher would have started tonight any way as we always make wholesale changes for the Europa League but we need him to get up to speed & full of confidence because he’s going to be relied upon until Alisson is back.

I don’t see anything else except a comfortable win for us tonight, no matter who Klopp plays. We are much stronger than LASK, regardless of the fact we will make multiple changes.

Prediction - LFC to score over 3.5 goals

Line up came up and its a good one for Liverpool. I think they will win this easily and like you said they might even score more then four goals if they want to go 100% at this game. A win here would maybe even seal the first place for Liverpool in this group to skip a round in the knockout faze

Most importantly Sevilla don't look like they will be moving on here.  Grin  They have to win against Lens in the last match of their Champions League group. It is an away match and they couldn't defeat Lens home before. I don't know if they can do this in a critical time. Actually they were nearly defeating PSV home. But that red card cost them a comeback for PSV from 0-2 to 3-2.  Sad

Not seeing Sevilla in the Europa League will feel different for me if that happens. This means we will have a guaranteed different champion this season.

Liverpool, Leverkusen and Roma are the biggest favourites to me. If I bet on one of them to win the title I would prefer Leverkusen or Roma to increase the odds a lot and make it more exciting for me.

Slava Ukraini!
From early slot, I'm going to tune in Atalanta - Sporting, AEK - Sporting should be interesting too. I have BTTS on both these games. Later Marseille - Ajax looks good on paper, Ajax last weekend  had best their game this season, but bookmakakers don't believe in their chances, giving just 1.50 for Marseille.
These teams ruined many my bets this season, but I will give another try - VillarreaL and Roma ML.

After Champions league it's difficult to get hyped about Europa league, especially when it's just group stage and your team isn't playing. Not really sure about MU, they're very likely to end last in their group and end their European Campaign in December.

Brighton had a very competitive game with Ajax but Ajax missed many attacks. Meanwhile, the Brighton team is very strong and the experienced stars and defenders are strong, due to which Ajax team players attacked but could not break the defenders. Total shot on goal post 8 Ajax team and Brighton team 8 shot on goal post. But the Brighton team was successful in two of these goals and the defenders of the Ajax team could not cover it well, due to which two goals entered the goal post of the Ajax team. And in that Brighton won by 2 goals and one goal was early in the match but the next goal came in a great attack. Shortly after half-time Brighton made it two goals and Brighton went on to win.
Ajax are not really in a good shape at the moment, and they are doing so bad. They have lost most of their games already this season, and are really in the hunt for a good manger who knows how the game works, and also someone who can revive their dieing energy and moral. They still have some good players in that team, but they sold some that were very good, and made them the Ajax that everybody knows, but everything has changed now,the Ajax team that they have now cannot win any big team, that's why Briton are able to win them hands down.
Meanwhile, Briton have not really been in a good form of recent, but it seems they are doing well in the Europa. We all wish they qualify to finals or semi finals of the competition.

^Ajax is a talent factory. They've relied on producing and grooming talent to sell on and make profits while being just good enough to win a historically less competitive league to qualify for UCL, which brings in further revenues.

They'll always be attractive for young players because of that route -- their problems now are club management and scandal, and eventually not having enough good players to keep making the difference. And I said two seasons ago that they actually need to rethink their strategy. You need to retain players and cultivate a little more instead of churning them out, particularly now that their league competitors are getting much better.

P.S. Yes, yes, I'm trying to get over Liverpool. But better to purge the bad results at group stage with second stringers.

Since Erik ten Hag left the team something odd happened to this team. They are having a huge downfall in every tournament they are in now. Even in the Eredivisie they have had serious problems on winning matches so far. The Europa League has almost finished for them as well after losing against Brighton twice in a row.

This team deserve a much better management and we will see if they can find the right person. By the way maybe Erik ten Hag would return to Ajax in case of not being able to improve at Manchester United for a longer time period.

Expected something more from Ajax as they started showing some positive signs. But even [laying at home they lost without scoring a goal. Roma lost against Slavia, probably not that big surprise  and now it's almost clear that both teams will go to the next round. Didn't watched Toulouse - Liverpool game, but it had to be interesting. It already looked that LFC achieved draw3:3 on additional time, but VAR cancelled goal because of handball. Leverkusen remains only team with perfect record after scoring goal on 94th minute against Qarabag.
Ajax has a very good school for young talents, and after they sell a lot of players the team becomes weaker. Apparently this season will not be an easy test for them, and perhaps they should forget about EL in order to focus on the Eredivisie, but even now they have begun to rise from the bottom of the table. I think that they will be able to rise to the Conference League zone, although I don’t know how interesting this might be for them, and reaching the EL playoffs also looks too doubtful. Sometimes this happens with a team that is focused on developing and selling young talented players.

It's true that Ajax Amsterdam offered a relatively easy and quick way for young talents to make it onto the European stages, but now the issues they have could quickly escalate further. As easy as it is to stay at the top of the Eredvisie once you are there, as hard it is to get back there once you lose that position just like they did now. I don't think that if they fail to qualify for anything and then also fail to sign players that can make the difference, that they will be able to compete with PSV anytime soon because they will probably now turn into the number one address for young talents. Because what Ajax is experiencing now isn't just some minor problems that will go away next year.
