I would believe that they would have won the first game if they really didn't think that the game would be too easy. That is why Xavi made all those big name changes right away as soon as he realized that the team wasn't doing great. That is when they started to have some chances, but between being lucky a few times, and the players being a bit too tired by that time combined made it close to impossible for them to win.

The second game will start a bit more serious, but if Galatasaray somehow keeps on defending this well, then it is very hard for Barcelona to win the game once again. The main reason is that Xavi still plays that tiki-taka style, and when the team just lays back and lets you pass, then you can't find that "opening" tiki taka relies on.

In my opinion, these are absolutely inadequate quotes. One advantage goal (before the second leg away) is just rubbish to give Atalanta that much advantage. Bayer have had a failure in the last few matches (as well as Atalanta) but in general they are a strong team and I don’t see any reason why they couldn’t at least bounce back.

I don't see Galatasaray qualifying for the next round. They can not compete with Barcelona. The catalans are doing an excellent performance in their league game. Barcelona sole aim is win the Europa league and qualify for champions league next season. Xavi had turned the team around ever since he arrived at Barca, new tactics, new players. The thing is that each Manger needs time to settle things at the club. Barcelona will knock-out Galatasaray our of the Europa league. The players at Barca are really thirsty for the trophy. I don't see anything competend as Barcelona.

Galatasaray will find it difficult this second leg, they were lucky to play draw in the first leg but they won't be lucky this time i think. Barcelona are playing really well in the La liga and the coach has helped the team alot and build their confidence but winning the Europa league could be challenging especially the semi final stage and the final it wont be as easy it seems.

Why Galatasaray find difficult on second leg actually as advantage with playing home? Exactly other side Barcelona finding bad thing because failed win on first leg and held draw scored make both team have chance 50% to qualify on next stage. Barcelona have top perform on domestic league after last winning 4-0 from Osasuna but next match against with Galatasaray have difficult choose few days later they have important match against with Real Madrid as el casico. I think Barcelona have difficult option because want to win on all match but still give rest for their player.

A win against Galatasaray is more important than a win over Real Madrid. Because Barcelona has not won a single title this season. They will definitely want to secure the Europa League title. On the other hand, Barcelona have no chance of winning the title despite winning against Real Madrid. Barcelona is 15 points behind Real Madrid. However, since the coach of Barcelona is now Xavi. He will definitely want to beat Real Madrid. Barcelona has lost the last 5 matches against Real Madrid.
