European events are always a difficult match to predict, last night's match became a match for the away team to win and I don't think many people can predict that because even before that the home team was the favourite. Yes, it was about Eintracht Frankfurt and Lyon, I really made the wrong choice for them especially about Porto where I was pretty sure Porto would be able to score but in the end Lyon won with clean sheets.

I made a multibet tonight one of the rare times where all of my selections are above 2x, so the payout turns out quite big 5 legs = 54x. And I mixed in quite a lot so Europa action is turning also Wink Ever since my team (Spurs) got KO out of Conference League I've still been following Europa more.

For me,,, Barcelona no use to bet, but Sevilla top 3 teams in Spanish leagues, for sure they must be very strong favorites and yet only get 2x odds? I feel that's the best odds for me in tonight's games.

Today is our day.(Barcelona - Galatasaray) I'm supporter of Galatasaray.
I don't think we will win, but I will watch quality matches. Barcelona is a very big team. We played the last game 20 years ago and lost 3-1. I think today will be same.

Hello there Smiley I'm a supporter of Barca, and yes, for sure not the only one (but I have to say since our stars left it gets quieter and quieter and this is when you know most of the "fans" aren't real).

I saw the odds on offer today and I think they are really underestimating your team. Turkish football is not terrible football and you just need to see all Europe to find Turkish names, and they all like a bit of skill and technique is my opinion Smiley

20 years ago wow! Good luck! Let's both play plenty of goals.

Hello, We started the Europa league very well but we are playing a bad football right now and everyone knows that.
Yes, most of your stars have left your team but you still have good players. You know that your team is better than us. Smiley

Good luck and enjoy.

three-four months ago, Galatasaray would have chance against Barca, but today Barca is in great form, and would win easily

I agree with you, our chances are very low right now.

Atalanta and Leverkusen match seems much better to watch, and Sevilla vs West Ham is interesting too, but Sevilla seems closer to passing through
Rangers and Crvena Zvezda will be interesting match @1.75 on Rangers is low value, maybe Zvezda not to lose is better

The first leg of the Europa League round of 16 has started, Porto vs Lyon and Real Betis vs Frankfurt are the opening matches for the Europa League round of 16.

Europa League round of 16 leg 1 match today:

1. Sevilla vs West Ham United

2. RB Leipzig vs Spartak Moscow

3. Rangers FC vs Red Star Belgrade

4. Braga vs AS Monaco

5. Atalanta vs Leverkusen

6. Barcelona vs Galatasaray

RB Leipzig are automatically into the quarter-finals due to UEFA's sanctions for Spartak due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

My predictions for match:

1. Sevilla 1 vs 0 West Ham United

2. RB Leipzig vs Spartak Moscow

3. Rangers FC 2 vs 1 Red Star Belgrade

4. Braga 1 vs 3 AS Monaco

5. Atalanta 1 vs 0 Leverkusen

6. Barcelona 1 vs 1 Galatasaray

The result of today's two matches was unexpected for me. Real Betis' performance in La Liga is very good this season. They were third on the table for a long time. Frankfurt, on the other hand, are tenth in the Bundesliga. Real Betis were the favorites in this match, but they lost. Real Betis attacked a lot but they could not make a strong attack.
Porto vs Lyon 1-0 Porto. Since Lyon was not in good form in his league, Porto was more likely to win this match. But the Lyon team is lucky and they played well. So they were able to win.
Yea, Frankfurts win was surprising, but I think Betis can still turn it around in the 2nd game. This is far from being decided yet.
The same is valid for Lyon. Both games had quite surprising outcomes, but 2 good games are needed to advance to the next round.

Even though Frankfurt in this season's performance decreased compared to the previous season, even in Bundesliga Frankfurt in 5 matches
only managed to win twice. While Betis this season's performance has improved more than the season before, so Betis should be able to beat
Frankfurt in the first leg, let alone Betis playing at home. But Frankfurt played better and managed to beat Betis. But there is still a second leg
match, Betis still have a chance to beat Frankfurt so both teams still have the same chance. I agree that Lyon's victory was also quite surprising
for many people, because we know Porto this season are playing very well and are in the top position in the Portuguese League. While Lyon this
season slumped to 9th position in Ligue 1, but in the Europa League Lyon showed very good performance. But Lyon shouldn't be too happy with
the win, as Porto will definitely be looking to retaliate in the second leg, so Lyon have to be careful when playing in the second leg. Even though
Porto and Betis lost in the first leg, I'm still pretty sure both teams can still qualify for the next round, and I predict both Porto and Betis will win
in the second leg.

I am looking forward to the Bergamo vs Leverkusen game today. Bergamo is the slight favorite here, but Leverkusen showed a good performance against Bayern last week

Really interesting things are happening right now. Betis and Porto both are behind by one goal difference against their opponents. I was expecting completely opposite to happen in these matches. Betis and Porto both are better teams here and these are home matches for them too. But they are still struggling a lot. And if they lose these matches, they are going to be under a big threat of being eliminated from this tournament. Maybe it wouldn't hurt Porto too much but I believe it is important for Betis. Because they are not a very experienced team in European tournaments.
Both team faced not lucky because next 2nd leg have to play as away with left one goal on first leg, Real Betis have loss from Frankfurt as bundesliga team with score 1-2 and FC Porto defeated by Lyon 0-1. Exactly with Porto looks not unbelievable defeat by Lyon because on have good and stable performance by Porto than Lyon on each domestic league. But they have difficult thing for Porto or Real Betis for 2rd leg because not easy for winning as away team exactly Lyon fans as most pressure for FC Porto player on 90 minutes match.

But why not a Spain vs Spain final? I think this will be actually great to see because Sevilla is doing really well in the league and if Barcelona can actually beat them we will be able to know what they are actually made of. I think it will also show if Barcelona can improve with the same Squad further into the future.
The truth is that I had not considered that scenario, and I think it is very possible, Sevilla is doing things well, and Barcelona has had a very good emergence, a Spain vs. Spain final, where Spanish dominance is given by those teams does not sound bad at all It remains to be seen how the other teams can defend themselves and get into the possible final, for me that final would be very good and I think the teams have enough level to get there.
There is one point in favor of Sevilla and that is that many are seeing their potential to win, many have been following what is happening at Sevilla, I think they are a good candidate to win.

Indeed that both games ended in unexpected way. Especially considering that both favorites played at home.
In general, Betis lose at home very rarely, but their recent weeks performance should be very concerning for their fans.
Porto - Lyon was equal game more or less. I expected way more from Porto. They're very solid this season while Lyon is just mediacore team in French this season.
But in general, in both games 1 goal advantage without away goal rule isn't something very significant.
I find the results pretty weird for both Porto and Betis. Those teams are better than their rivals overall and they have better odds so congrats to those who placed bets against them.
I assume things will change in the second leg and odds will be more attractive tho.
we show the surprise match tonight, all hosts lost with 1 different goal against a team that doesn't superior. I believe many gamblers lost of bets tonight because both (Porto and Betis) are very favorite to win cause not only superior to them but also the host. They will hard to next quarter-final to get at least 2 different goals away. but, anything change can happen, as real Madrid did against PSG.

I think Barcelona going to the Europa League is starting to look like a blessing in disguise for them, there game on Thursday against galatasary is going to be an very easy one to qualify due to their form and quality of their squad with a good history in Europe,I expect Aubameyang and Adama Traore to shine against this team and score lots of goals in this match and put fear in the other teams.

It was surprising results in today games, porto who seemed to be doing fine this season and in a strong shape lost to lyon who are playing poorly and not able to get in the top spots of ligue 1 but I agree that 1 goal difference is not a big difference, betis or porto can still pass to the next round but an away win will give a moral boost for lyon and frankfurt.

Maybe the hosts were overly confident in their victories and therefore lost? Although, regarding Betis, I see that the team has a black streak and they lose quite naturally. But nevertheless, this is a minimal advantage and now everything will be decided in the return matches. Actually I don't think that this result changed the favorites in these pairs.

I have to admit that i could only watch the second half of the match of Betis Sevilla vs Eintracht Frankfurt live and when i tuned in i was surprised that Frankfurt was up with 2-1 goals because before the match i thought that Betis would be the favorite here. That being said i think the victory for Frankfurt was totally deserved and they also were the stronger team in the second half. Frankfurts attacker Borre alone had like 3 or 4 huge chances to make it 3-1 for Frankfurt and one of them even was a penalty which he did not make so i think in the end Betis Sevilla were really lucky today that they have only lost with 1 goal difference and still have a chance to advance into the next round.

I don't know exactly what happened in Porto's game, but for a moment I saw 1-1 on the scoreboard. Didn't watch this match live, but maybe a goal was offside. It is almost impossible otherwise, otherwise the goal would never have been disallowed. Still justice with a Var in the end. At Porto they will be furious, but hey, offside is offside. 1-1 or 0-1 that's a world of difference. Match ended in 0-1
VAR is very useful in making the match more fair, and I find the match between Porto vs Lyon very fair

but if there is no VAR then porto have won, one missed penalty occurred in the 64' minute and mbemba's goal in the 95' minute

goal in last minute for Porto was disallowed, and results stayed 0:1
two away wins, for Frankfurt and Lyon, it is not that unexpected, but far from expected result

Betis is playing Europa league with combined line-up, I think that their top line-up is saved for La Liga, and that is why they do not win these matches, hardly pass over Zenit, and now almost kicked-out by Frankfurt
