It's a game I will have to keep my fingers crossed on. Especially between Porto and Lyon, those two are very stubborn and I will not be surprised if it ends in a draw. But Betis will have a whole lot on their plates today as Frankfurt are not smiling. They have not been impressive in previous la Liga games but tend to showcase talent whenever they are pitted in competitions like this. I expect goals in this game tho.

If Barcelona can defeat Napoli then Galatasaray should be a walk over. we might agree both teams have equal zeal in their respective leagues but i think Xavi is more committed to winning the Europa. I predict Barcelona to win both legs against Galatasaray. Not to underestimate Galatasaray but going by the late performance of FC Barcelona

on paper I think Barcelona can easily beat Galatasaray and progress to the next round, judging from what Barcelona have been doing lately, they have come back and are much better and also Barcelona are really eyeing the Europa League trophy this season considering this is the only one trophy they are very likely to win this season, after their chances to catch Real Madrid in the domestic league is very difficult because the points are quite far behind.

Yes it was a very close result, but for a win like two goals I don't think it will happen. Considering their quality is basically not much different, so it is very possible that they will still score with a draw and or win by one goal difference that could be the result that will happen. I personally don't believe they will win with clean sheets or end in a goalless draw, they are still very productive so far so it is very likely that the game will be interesting with goals scored by each team.

For the first leg, I think a draw is not a big problem, but Porto will qualify for the quarter-finals because of the form they have at the moment. Lyon are good, but I think Porto are the favorites in the Europa League.

For other fixtures, Real Betis will probably win today's first leg against Eintracht Frankfurt although Real Betis' form has slumped in their last few league match so far. I think Real Betis will try to maximize their chances today at home to win the match and hope for a draw in the second leg. Playing at home should be able to make Real Betis able to win it easily.

I was totally unaware that there are already Europa League games this wednesday as i thought they are only played on thursday, so thank god i took a look into this thread today or i may have missed those games today. I agree with you that Betis is the favorite for the match tonight against Eintracht Frankfurt because they are just in a better shape in the last few weeks and months. They are on the 5th place in the Primera Division which is pretty good. At the same time Eintracht Frankfurt is having a pretty bad season so far and they are only on the 10th place in the german Bundesliga. I still think though that Frankfurt has strong players and they definitely have a good chance to beat Betis too.

I think you chose Real Madrid wrong, I think Madrid will lose. I think that Betis and Porto are absolute favourites to win today. And they must win too to be able to have the upper hand on their opponents in the rematches. Betis have an easier work but I can't say the same thing for Porto. They can have a bigger difficulty in defeating Lyon in Estadio do Dragao. Lyon are not doing good in the Ligue 1 this season and their focus must be on here highly. Porto can still win this match if they show one of their solid performances. I expect a very close match.
