The Rangers team unexpectedly qualified for the finals. No one imagined that the final of Frankfurt vs Rangers would be held. Frankfurt's performance in the second leg against Barcelona was excellent. They have definitely qualified for the finals by performing well in every match. Rangers, on the other hand, are not a weak team. They have dominated and won every home match. If Frankfurt thinks that, the Rangers is a weak team. I think the data from their own respective League is not going to have any importance because we have seen how Frankfurt have played in the league and how they have been playing in the Europa.

It is almost like watching a completely different team.

I believe the final is going to be a 50/50 between both these teams and the team which plays well in the final will obviously be the winner of the European League title. And if we look at the league performance I think we will always going to keep Rangers one step ahead of Frankfurt but personally, I think Frankfurt is playing well as a team.

Even Europa League is only Tier 2 league in the Europe, there are some big clubs participate in if they fail in Champions League. In this season Barcelona was considered as a strongest competitor for the title but they were beaten by Frankfurt. Rangers have their good year too and together they meet in the final.

I agree with you that chance for them to get another final is not big so they will have to take this opportunity to win a title that can be their first title in Europe.

Not only with big teams but they will have to struggle to do as good as they have done so far in this season. They are struggling in their national leagues in order to have a position to join Europa League next year. They will have to take the final as the only one final in their career and play it as most seriously as they can. Win or fail, they will not regret about it when they look back after their retirement.

It's barely 2 days now to the finals. I can't say I am anticipating a very tough game looking at the 2 teams that surfaced. I mean, it's not like they aren't good teams but, I greatly doubt these are the teams that most of us would have hoped to see in the finals if we are to look at the teams that were in the competition.
They both trashed off some true competitors no doubt, Eintracht Frankfurt triumphing over Barcelona was one surprising game for me, considering the fact that, Barcelona was doing well at the time under the management of Xavi and somehow, Eintracht Frankfurt went ahead to strengthen there position right from the first half and through the second half of the quarter finals. Barcelona only managed it to a 2nd goal by a penalty in that game.
Rangers on the other hand did a good job with Leipzig in the semi finals, so unexpected but they managed to make it happen.
It would be nice to see a lot of energy from both teams in the finals and perhaps push the game through an extra time and to penalties.
