Bad results in other tournaments don't guarantee bad results here in the Europa League, Bayer Leverkusen are basically a good team but inconsistency often leaves them out of the way. But even so, Leverkusen is still a team to watch out for and cannot be underestimated and with Leverkusen still being able to lead in group G and considering the current 10 points, I personally am quite sure that Leverkusen in this tournament still has a chance to go further.
Leverkusen is currently the leader of Europa League group G with a score of 10 point from 4 match "1 draw and 3 wins''. So far Leverkusen has been very impressive because they are able to maintain a record of never losing in the Europa League and also conceding only 2 goals in 4 matches. This is the most reason why they cannot be underestimated, they are strong and will go further in this competition.

West Ham, Eintracht Frankfurt, Galatasaray, Monaco and Lyon have the same impression. They are strong and both lead the standings. Nobody wants to underestimate them because every game will be difficult for every team.
Only in the Bundesliga Liverkusen are still lacking consistency but with achievements in the European leagues, they have never lost meaning they are still focusing on this competition to be their main goal and targeting the title even though there are still some stages with other team opponents.
But Liverkusin are still quite impressive in their game, it could be that their game will remain solid if they like and only concede low.

And I think this is still in the play-off stage, I think it can still be fought for, now after going through this the game should not be underestimated anymore because with any opponent it can be a threat too.

Leverkusen will not go too far in this competition imo. They are fluctuating a lot in Bundesliga, they got kicked from DFB-Pokal by a team which is 10th in 2.Bundesliga..
In EL, its rivals aren't that top, Betis seems to be better than the others, yet it isn't that good lately even in La Liga..

I agree with you too. I don't expect Bayer Leverkusen to achieve great things in this tournament. As you have mentioned also, Leverkusen are already too bad in the Bundesliga. Maybe they are going on better here but they will still need to focus on Bundesliga to make things better. At some point, they can let this tournament go and focus on the Bundesliga to be able to finish the season at a decent place and join the Champions League.

In the last few weeks, Leverkusen's performance in the Bundesliga has not been very good, which in the last 4 matches Leverkusen have not been able to win even though (only got 2 draws and lost 2 times). But if you look at Leverkusen in the UEFA Europa League, their performance is pretty good and they get a good achievement, and most likely they will qualify for the round of 32 draw (or even round of 16 draw if they can be the winner in the group stage).

A team like Leverkusen has a chance to win the UEFA Europa League. If they are struggling in Bundesliga, then they will battle it out in the UEFA Europa League because they have the chance to do so.

That is true only if they have made up their mind where their biggest focus will be.If they are struggling in the Bundesliga then their main focus should to be to improve there and there will less focus on the Uefa Europa League thus massively reducing the chances for them to do any good there. It all depends at how they will look at things and what they value the most from these two options.

I kinda disagree here because i think that Leverkusen has the potential to reach the semi-finals of the europa league or even the finals if they are able to show their best possible performances on the relevant matchdays. Yes it is true, that they were kicked out of the DFB Pokal by a club from the second Bundesliga, so they definitely should have won there, but stuff like that can happen. Just take a look at Bayern Munichs 0-5 loss against Gladbach in the DFB-Pokal, that was an even bigger upset.
Still Leverkusen managed to beat Betis with 4-0 which indicates to me that leverkusen is not yet very stable but that they can beat every team in the europa league if they have a good day.
Leverkusen is very strange club because they are really unpredictable in last few seasons and have no good results but this year their start was very good in Bundesliga, but suddenly they are down very badly and now staying at 6th spot which is not good but in Europa League they have done very good and staying at top with this surely they can go some better and most chances they will be able to have spot in semifinal or final because in European Cup they are doing some extraordinary job.

They can win this cup and have direct entry into next year's Champions League with could be brought some better things for them and surely this can bring more quality players access because for having good spot in Bundesliga they need this more than they have right now.

Leverkusen is a enough good team. They should not be underestimated. If they maintain their stable performance then they have the potential to win the Europa League title. They are at the top of Group G. And from the top spot I think they will be able to go to the next round. My guess is that Leverkusen will be able to reach the semi-finals of this season's Europa League.

It's true that Leverkusen's performance this season is bad. However, Europa League is the only (?) true and possibly realistic target for this season. If they fail, well then they will need to fight hard for getting a place in European competition...

I'd tend to agree actually. Remember how well Sevilla does in this competition, almost ignoring the league performance and using their resources instead to win this cup... which equals a decent amount of prize money AND qualification to Champions League anyway. I even remember at one point they earned more this way (fighting to qualify for UCL group stages via qualification rounds then dropping off to Europa and winning it.

Trophies, money, prestige and less pressure for top 4 finish. Could be a strategy for Leverkusen actually!

I also don't think that Leverkusen will go very far in this tournament. It is even doubtful whether they are caring about this tournament either. But actually, I think that they must care about it this season. Because they are performing very poorly in the Bundesliga. If I were in their place, I would thrive for even winning the Europa League title. Because by doing this, they can join the Champions League groups directly too. It doesn't seem like they will be able to end at one of the top 4 places in the Bundesliga for now.
Bundesliga in this season is very competitive and Leverkusen will have to protect their position until the end in order to get a place for Champions League. They will play and try to go as most farther as possible in Europa League because it can help them to get more income.

However, their priority will be Bundesliga and Champions League next season that will bring them good income. I know if they are Champions in Europa League, they can be given a direct ticket to Champions League. But it is risky to use all resources to fight and hope that they can win the cup at the end.

Focus on Bundesliga and top 4 are wiser target for Leverkusen. With their resources, I don't think they have too good chance to win Europa League even if they totally prioritize it.

Leverkusen were having a terrible form in the Bundesliga before their Europa League game. They needed to win this game to start the recovering process for themselves. Their competitor was Betis and they are one of the solid teams in the La Liga this season. I assumed that it would be a really tough game for both sides. But it turned out that Leverkusen didn't see it as a problem at all. They demolished Betis by 4-0 home and won a huge victory here. They are the leader now by 10 points in their group too.

We have another Leicester - Spartak Moscow match ahead and this time it is in King Power Stadium. Leicester won by 4-3 against them in their last match. There is nothing holding them back from getting another win here. Actually, all of the teams in their group have a big chance to be able to promote to the next round. So I'm sure that Spartak Moscow will do their best but I expect Leicester to win this.
I think Leicester won't let himself be beaten at home. And since the odds for Leicester to win are very small, I would consider Leicester Individual Total over 2 goals for a bet. This bet is already have better odds of 1.5. I think it will not be difficult for Leicester to score two goals for Spartak at home. While the group looks pretty good in points, but Napoli and Leicester seem to be the clear leaders here.

It looks like we all were wrong about our predictions as Leicester got a 1-1 draw home against Spartak Moscow this time. Actually they were the dominating team in this match. But Spartak Moscow scored first. Leicester still managed to score the equalizer in a very short time period. But Vardy missed a penalty in the last fifteen minutes and they couldn't win this time. This was an opportunity for Leicester to move up to a better place in the group as Napoli defeated Legia. But they failed.

For me, as a Leicester fan, it's a shame to watch such a game against the weakest club in the group. And this is the second such game and again against the Russian team, Spartak. Not scoring a penalty, playing a draw at home, and somehow winning 4-3 against the visitors at home (again, the weakest). Although the Foxes had some beautiful chances...

So, yesterday I was also pleased with the Napoli vs Legia match in this group. When Napoli conceded, I was puzzled - what's going on with the teams? But when they scored the 4th goal, I exhaled)

This is football Pal, unexpected results like this comes up,but the 🦊 foxes have strong mentality of fighting and coming back stronger after all of this bad results.
They will be up against Leeds United, that game can be used as a good comeback for them since Leeds United are not in much of a good form.
I, of course, will hope for a better outcome, because the Foxes are in great shape, but I'm still worried about the team's current position. Their next match in the Europa League looks like it will be against Legia, and I really want them to win it, because otherwise they will be hanging on by a thread to get out of the tournament without even playing in the playoffs.
Even though Lecerter City stumbled at the beginning of the season, I am very optimistic that LeCester will be able to rise from adversity, and I am also optimistic that Lecerter will be able to beat Legia in Europe Leuge, and successfully advance to the next round, because their points are not far behind, only a difference of 2 points, I hope only lesester city are able to return to their best performance, and can compete again in epl and in europe..

Westham United has got my attention recently. I didn't take them seriously as usual but they are giving everyone reasons to believe that they will represent English Premier League fine. Their recent good results and position in EPL is smart and can rekindle hope.
I will not fail to watch their next fixture in Europa. I think a win should be able to push them to the next round.
Meanwhile, Liecester is not finding it easy in both Europa and Epl. I believe they will get well soon.
West for now can be said to have become a big team's attention, even though they don't have classy players and star players, but West Ham is able to prove that they are able to compete with top teams, now in EPL West Ham is ranked third in the standings, while in europe west ham managed to top the standings in their group, with a collection of 12 points, moyes must remain consistent, if they have stumbled it is difficult to get up..

west ham amazed everyone, in europe west ham was able to top the standings, and it is certain that west ham qualified for the next round, even in epl their game can be said to be very good, yesterday they were able to beat the english giant team liferpol with a score of 3 -2, Moyes has returned to his best form, just like he coached Everton before, hopefully West Ham will stay consistent until the end of the season.

West Ham is a team that has surprised everyone this season with their superb form.Imagine them flog Liverpool last weekend,it showed that they are serious, determined, focused and have a target.
The team work they have in the team is really amazing.
They are a team that has gotten my attention lately, and with the form they are in,I know they will also do well in the Europa league.Lets watch out for how they will finish the Europa league, whether they will end up taking the tittle.
To be honest I personally am not surprised by West Ham who are able to perform well in the Europa League, because when the new season starts in the EPL we can see West Ham can win the opening two games and win big at home when they beat Leicester. At that time West Ham were at the top of the EPL standings and that was enough to make me believe that West Ham can give their best here in the Europa League and it happened.

@hahay I second that because Moyes is a manger that builds a team over a period of time, look at Everton before he joined he made it a stable team, and at West Ham he got time and the backing of the owners so I’m not entirely surprised by West Ham form. Also I’ll only be surprised is if they miss out on top 4 spot in the premier league or don’t win the Europa League, because based on their current form they should be able to do both.
