I have also the same idea about Benfica-Arsenal. As we know, Benfica are one of the toughest opponents in the Europa League. I can say this because of their general performance in years in this league. But there is something that makes Arsenal more favorite here. Benfica are fighting for the championship in the Primeira Liga and I think they will give most of their focus on there. But Arsenal are located in the middle in the Premier League now and it is doubtful whether they will be able to qualify for a tournament. Hence, I think they will try their best to win the Europa League and enter at the Champions League group stage directly. This game is also not going to be in Benfica's stadium. It is in Stadio Olimpico. This is another loss of advantage for Benfica.

But I still think they will put up a really good fight against Manchester Utd in this game. I wonder whether Manchester Utd will give a big importance to the Europe League. @ILuckyGuyI I’m pretty sure that Real Sociedad won’t be paying too much attention about the venue, because for them winning the Europa trophy will be more important.

Furthermore in my personal opinion Manchester United should prioritise winning the Europa League, because their form in premier league has been mixed and who knows where they’ll finish in the premier league.

Ajax has a bigger problem to be honest; internal crisis as this is bad for the club; An ajax player is on the verge of prison after being involved in a stabbing incident; they forgot to register a 30 million signing to participate in the europa league; and then their goalkeeper takes a drug without prescriptiion by the club doctors. What could be going on in the club?

Yep Promes was the one with the stabbing incident. He would leave Ajax and went back to Spartak Moscow but due this incident this might get cancelled.

That incident with Onana is just stupid. He took a medicine of his wife which contains forbidden ingredients.

Yeah, lot of time passed since draw was made and some things had changed. MU improved a lot, while Real Sociedad doesn't looks very impressive now. But when it comes to MU, you never can be sure. Their game with Sheffield proves it.

How far have they gone now that they're focused on the premier league? Not far! In fact, they're even going down further with every game. With performance like this, they won't fet too far in Europa's round of 16. Well, I'm not too bothered about Europa league next round of fixtures now until next year when it gets closer to match day. Arsenal better improve before then because it just got tough.

I don't think they are the same. I bet Man United will win the match easily. Lately, Real Sociedad's performance is very bad, just look at their last 5 matches in La Liga. They even never won a single match, it should give an impact on the players' motivation. I assume Real Sociedad players won't play confidently for the match. While Man United players are in good condition, they are ready to play with their best.

Same here. Ajax are not playing anywhere near the way they were in the seasons of 18/2019 when they dumped big giants out. This group stage they even struggled against a small Danish team.

Lille on the other hand are making Europa their winning ground.

My Spurs got an Austrian side,,, hope we do not forget how to play football.

They struggle but also had a lot of chances against Liverpool. They can still play well if they have a good day. Too bad this year they doesnt have that every week.
