I don't think it's safe yet, Ranger is an enigmatic club. sometimes they play really well and keep scoring but sometimes they can't do anything and just defend.
I think there's still a little bit of competition there, even though Leipzig are the favorites, but of course Ranger can still be a scary specter for now and this match will still be interesting for the second leg later.

1 goal difference win is enough for West Ham to at least bring the semi final to extra time. They can do it because West Ham and Frankfurt are at same level and what they shown in the first match confirms it too. It is good opportunjty to win a title in the Europe for them. I am sure they will fully focus in the next match.

I don't know why you think it's difficult while West Ham can still do it even the second leg is held at Frankfurt home. I think the opportunity is still big enough for the two losing teams now because 1 goal Aggregate is not something that is quite difficult to pursue considering they are a very good club.
playing at home does have its own advantages but on the other hand I still expect Westham to rise now because indeed this was not their best performance in Leg 1

My hunch is that this year's Europa League final will be between German league clubs.

They actually performed quite well and their striker was also quite impressive, the problem is that Rangers' defense is also strong which makes it a bit difficult for them. Full control of the ball and the opportunity to score goals were quite a proof but indeed Ranger's defense also could not be underestimated in the match.
For Leipzig, I'm still pretty sure they will go through but for Frankfurt and Westham to be honest I'm still quite doubtful

I really expecting West Ham to maintain the draw score. But, Kamada scored a smart goal in the second half of the game, and Frankfurt played the rest match more defensively. And gave West Ham no chance of equalizing the score.
While, Frankfurt is indeed the most favorite here because they are at more advantage. They won in the first leg, and just need to either win or draw in the second Leg, in order to qualify to the finals. Although, West Ham will struggle not to lose, they aren't a weak team.

Frankfurt's performance against Barcelona was a team effort. Most people thought that Frankfurt would lose in Barcelona. And then they won against Barcelona. I think that made them grow even more as a team. They took this spirit with them and if they continue to believe in themselves they can reach the final.

Indeed, and Rangers probably slightly unlucky to lose to a late-ish goal -- they paid for getting more chances in the first half but poor finishing and by the time Leipzig found their feet, it was with sharper endings, and of course a moment of magic from Angelino. Usually what turns things around in a tight game. Could probably say the same swing at both ends for the Hammers game.

Still, with both winners last night carrying such a slim lead, it's still finely balanced I'd say, though West Ham probably favourites to go out as they'll play away.

I think it's likely that it will happen, we will see a German representative in this season's Europa League final between Leipzig and Frankfurt.

What am I say. Leipzig just winning by a 1 goal against Rangers I don't see how that put them into the finals cause rangers has been bouncing back with goals when it comes to them playing at home.
They have always capitalized on that home advantage in their previous games all through this season.
So following by this, Leipzig really have to breathe through their anus in the second leg away to sail into the finals even with the 1goal victory of the first leg.

Looking at the game between Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham I quite agree with you, there's a likelihood that Frankfurt will still claim victory in the second leg, for their tactics is one West Ham as a team battling with injury defenders at the moment can hold off especially as Frankfurt are playing at home.
The home advantage alone is one that puts West Ham in a very slim chance to qualify into the finals.
