England was slightly favorite, that was also the case with the bookmakers. This is mainly due to the large home advantage they had. It was an exciting match, with a bit of luck Germany could have won this too. For England it was finally once again hit with a main prize. What the men failed to do with the European Championship last year, the women have now succeeded. I also have the idea that women's football has become more alive compared to a few years ago.

England: Germany 2:1
The Germans are a very strong team to play and they have better experience at the finals having gotten to that stage more than England, but I am excited that England were able to host and still win this competition making history as their first major international cup for their women's football. Their victory is a start of something new for women football in England. After the game entered extra time although the English team looked weaker in strength than the German side who looked as though they still had more strength in them, it became a matter of who wanted it more and who was going to make better use of their opportunity, Chloe Kelly's long legs saved the day and ensured that the games did not go into penalties as we were thinking that was how the game was going to be settled.

Congratulations to the lionesses on their first Euro cup and to Mead on winning the golden boot.

England: Germany 2:1
congratulations England.
the english team is the new european champion . it was really a fantastic final.
very very high speed in the game . and a lot of chances on both sides .
both teams could have won the game . it's a pity that alex popp couldn't be there.
she could have helped the german team. but she got injured just before the game.

and last but not least.

thank you england for this fantastic european championship

England 1 - 1 Germany score of regular time and extra time ahead of us.
Probably a big disappointment for those who bet on winning in regular time. I was very tempted to bet on Germany when England took the lead, but I abstained. I'm not sure if I'm right, but Germany by the end of the game, it seems to me, attacks more dangerously and has better chances in extra time.

In the final match, I bet on the victory of the England team. Of course, playing at home is a huge advantage, but also with football skills the English team seems to surpass the German national team. The victory against the strong national team of Sweden 4-0 in the semi-final was not accidental.

The woman's final is going to kick off on 1 hour. I haven't really followed the tournament that much, not sure why but for me it's too boring to watch a full game of woman's football. Maybe it's because I watched all my life only men play. The games feel too slow and it doesn't look as exciting as the top male teams playing. The final however should be more interesting, I am going to watch it and want to put a last minute bet on it. With my limited knowledge about the teams I would expect the strength of the two to be more or less equal. But since the final is in the Wembley stadium I think England has an edge, I will bet on them.

The final match will be held at Wembley which means, England are home in this final which is a common factor that the home team will be favourites. But if we look at their quality so far this title, then I personally will remain in the position that Germany has a better chance of winning the title. But indeed, that doesn't mean England are weak, because as I said earlier, England have quality and they will also be playing at home which of course will be more comfortable for them for this final match. Regarding the final score yes indeed they sometimes have a lot of goals like four goals, but for decisive matches like this final I'm not sure there will be many goals and maybe only two or three goals for the final result.
Most of the time playing at the home ground is not as easy as we think. Players might be in double pressure. Of being at home and for winning the tournament.
Also you never know if the weak team is so much lucky to win the tournament.
I followed in your footsteps in the selection of champions because it's true that being at Wembley for England is definitely like home but it's also quite risky for them too especially when they don't play a good game later because of course the mental pressure will change drastically if that occur.
On the other hand their style of play is actually a bit similar but I still gravitate towards Germany who are sometimes quite able to control the team better in attack.
Yes, I agree with the pressure in question, but considering all the final results that England have in this event. So it looks like the final match will still have goals from both teams, because from what I said before if the final match will only have a few goals but after I reconsider it looks like this final match will still have a lot of goals, whether it's a total of 4 or 5 goals . I'm quite optimistic that with England and Germany previously having good consistency in scoring goals I'm sure it will continue in this final match, betting both teams to score and/or high total goals I think is a good choice, instead of betting on the moneyline I think the odds for both are equally good.

Tickets for the 2022 Women's Euro final game between hosts England and Germany are already sold out, breaking the previous record for both the women's and men's tournament finals. The game will take place on Sunday night at Wembley Stadium. This is one of Germany's eight European championships, and it is a rematch of the 2009 final, in which Germany defeated England 6-2.

Strong England vs. unyielding Germany will make for an exciting matchup between two of the finest teams in the competition. Beth Mead and Alexandra Popp, who have both scored six goals, will compete for the tournament's golden boot.

I heard that there are also record numbers in television broadcasts (number of countries and audience share). I wonder if this is due to the fact that women's football is developing on its own or the fact that the men's world championship was postponed to the fall, so the hungry spectators watched the women's European championship with increased interest. I have seen only a few games, but I can say that due to the large number of goals, this is a quite watchable competition, even though women are much inferior to men in athleticism.

Apparently, most bettors agree with you and bet on England, so I see that quotes are changing in its favor:

2,40 - 3,20 - 2,85

Now I would say that Germany's odds look better - almost x3! Most likely I will not bet in advance, maybe in live mode the odds of Germany will really reach 3 and this will be a value bet.
Well, such odds shows that there is no clear favorite, difference isn't significant at all. I already was wrong about England few times, especially when they faced Spain. So, I'm not going to share more predictions. I would like to see Germany lifting trophy, but honestly, England looked more convincing in whole tournament. Probably we shouldn't expect to see nice footbal in the final.

Yes, it is difficult to make a choice, but in my opinion, if the result looks random, and one of the teams is the host of the championship, then it means that it is overrated. This means that you need to bet on Germany, perhaps a more reliable bet will be on the final result and here the German victory is quoted as 1.98.

Is it just me or it seems that women's soccer matches tend to end with way more goals than men ones.

More than 4 goals is pretty much unheard of in men's soccer, yes, it happens, but very rarely, whereas in women's soccer it seems to happen way more often.
More goals on women's football is pretty common. The two teams have got good records. In the last five matches played both have won every match. According to me, Germany holds the high chance of winning the final. Today came across a news in which a lion is allowed to predict the winner placing the flags of England and Germany. It went on to England. I don't believe in it, but let's see what is the result.

Women’s football is really unpredictable. Almost anything can happen at any given time. You know that football is a physical game. And I have seen a lot of really terrible blunders just because women players did not have the proper physique.

For me, women’s football is just not enjoyable because there are too many mistakes happening in one football match. And I am someone who always looks for better quality. And I know that I am not expecting to find it in women’s football. So I don’t have much interest in it.

Anyway, my point is nobody should actually put their money on the line especially with women’s football because it is just so unpredictable.

PS: I am not body shaming anyone or anything. I am just spitting some facts.

I think there are many teams like Germany, Australia, England. Their male and female team does the best. In every field. They are hard workers in fact they are smart worker. And they are alway working hard to make their nation proud. So many good thing to learn from them.
You are right there are many players who work very hard there are many teams who try their own team because of their hard work and I think if we look here we will see many teams but there are good players who work hard.  He does it for the team.  They work hard to win their team.  If we say that there are many such players then we would not be wrong to say that.
I have no doubt about this all but one thing is surely hurting badly this all is possible only in developed countries and where we are living most Third World countries are still behind in this all even many are fighting for no issues which need just some talk and can settle positively but no one dare to do this all for better and positive future of more than 1.5 billion peoples. Even many are doing hard work but still living under poverty line because they are facing issues which are surely settled nearly two or three decades ago.

I am really amazed by play and technique of these developed countries as they are doing things very good for their common peoples, and we are still having troubles and protocols which are giving big headache and non issues troubles.

As a host England is the favourite to get the trophy and this is their 3rd times playing at final match but previously England have bad results during playing on final match that on 2009 they lose from Germany with big score 6-2 and actually i cannot ignore Germany records to this tournament that with 8 times champion i have to say they are very strong but this time i will support England to get the trophy
The finals is one match I have been looking forward to. Both teams are great. They both have the best goalkeepers in the tournament. I believe the game will go into extra time. I am expecting a lot from Alex Popp and Beth Mead. When it comes to the teams, I do not have a favorite. I am rooting for both teams and I hope to enjoy good football. However, if I am asked to make a goal prediction, I would say 2 - 1 in favour of the English side.

I still feel Alexandra Popp is very worthy thanks to her placement who is always in a good position Cheesy
Its the first Euro for Alexandra Popp as she was injured always for the other Euros in the past.
She is rightly the captain of the German team , with her experience and we seeing it and he shows it on field.
Merle Frohms was just unlucky with that one goal the german got.
I guess the German Team can beat England in the Final game even they are very good also , lets see how they playing at 90000 Fans.
Obviously in this case there is indeed a slight advantage that he feels considering several times he can't participate.
As for the Final, it will still be a little more interesting because England is also quite dangerous in my opinion, even Alessia Russo's skill goal when crushing Sweden in the semi-finals was really very good.
Germany must be wary of England's attack line in this match.
Interestingly, these two teams have only conceded the ball once throughout this event.
