Did you guys hear the big teaser news for UFC 300?
Israel Adesanya is hinting on his Instgram profile that he could beon this card, but there is no official confirmation from UFC and Dana White!
There are speculations that is going against Dricus Du Plessis, but he just finished his last fight in January so I dont think it is going to be him.

Funny that you mention specifically about the Jessica Andrade vs Marina Rodriguez fight because I just watched a video rightly about such a subject of if women fights in the UFC are just boring:

The Problem with Women's MMA - by TJlovesfights

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNJekp1qFRM

Maybe now they have become boring.
I was always excited to see Amanda Nunes and Rose Namajunas anytime they announced either of them as a main event.
But with these recent bouts especially for a aging Holly Holm I don't know many who say they are even wanting to see these two as even a co-main event. Just look at the last main event with the women as co-main.
It was not good at all and luckily we had a very good main event so to not have people turn off their tv.

Already have a cancellation for the Atlantic City card at the end of March announced:
https://www.mmafighting.com/2024/1/31/24057262/sean-brady-vs-vicente-luque-scrapped-from-ufc-atlantic-city-main-event

It's understandable that the recent bouts, especially with aging fighters like Holly Holm, might not have lived up to the excitement we've come to expect from Amanda Nunes and Rose Namajunas. The quality of the last co-main event was a bit disappointing, but thankfully, the main event salvaged the night. It's essential for fighters to maintain their competitive edge, and hopefully, in future matchups involving Nunes and Namajunas I can add up Grasso's fight when she becomes champion, and for sure that could recapture the thrill that fans have been accustomed to. Let's hope for more compelling fights in the upcoming events to reignite the enthusiasm for these talented fighters because as hard as we think women will be viewed as a symbol of Sexism which is I don't really believe.

Aljamain Sterling: ‘Comical’ that UFC stacked 299 ‘to make it feel like’ Sean O’Malley is the draw

https://www.mmafighting.com/2024/1/30/24054929/aljamain-sterling-comical-that-ufc-stacked-299-to-make-it-feel-like-sean-omalley-is-the-draw

So they stacked ufc 299 to boost sean o malley's numbers but that just made 300 much worse and unwatchable :/

For sure they will boost what Sean O'Malley has to offer because this is going to be another great PPV for the UFC if it continues, as for sure but for me, the event is so stacked and jacked up that I can not wait to see it, and behold for my self what I am missing and what will surely we are expecting for sure, as for sure they want the UFC 300 to be more stacked than with the UFC 299 as the UFC 300 is a special day for the UFC because it is the 30th anniversary of the UFC, for sure if they want the UFC 300 to be special then why not move UFC 299 cards to the UFC 300 then vice versa.

While in the UFC. Regarding UFC 300, it seems like the announced fights haven't quite lived up to expectations so far. The potential Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez matchup may not be sparking excitement for you. As for the main event, I haven't come across any information yet. Hopefully, the organizers have something captivating in store to make UFC 300 a memorable event. The meme with Belal as one of the headliners adds a humorous touch, but let's hope the actual event surpasses expectations!

He's not called "the kicking machine" for no reason Wink The leg doesn't even look that bad. It's just swollen from all the bruising, but it's going to subside. A week from now it's going to look yellow and be half of the size it's now. I've never had that big of a bruise, but I've fought a bit in high school and once kicked my opponent in the leg and the result was pretty similar, just 1/3 of the size.
The pay isn't bad, especially if you come from countries where nobody earns like that. Champions can get over $1m for their fights, while some get 3-4m which is insane. They all hope to get a contract like that one day. As long as you're not a cripple, or dead after the fight, a million is something people would gladly suffer for.

It sounds like the "kicking machine" really lives up to the name! It's fascinating how bruises can evolve over time, and your insight into the aftermath of such fights adds a unique perspective However, I haven't been in insane fights like that maybe some minor sparring session but a serious fight that will cause some bruises like that nope!

Well, the financial aspect is intriguing too the allure of earning a million dollars in the world of professional fighting certainly seems to outweigh the physical toll for many. Do you have personal experiences with martial arts or fighting, or is this based on observations and discussions?

^^
Those fighters are from ONE fighting right?
The names didn't look familiar at all so had to do a short search for them. But good to know about how bad leg kicks can get. As in the UFC anybody can win by a solid kick. Just look what happened to McGregor with breaking his leg from them.

UFC fights announced so far for the 300 aren't going over so great. And I think I heard the another event is Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez.
Which doesn't get me excited one bit so that is 11 fights already booked.

So what is the main event has anybody heard what it is yet?
Because it better be great to save this thing. Because remember seeing a meme with the headliners and Belal was one of them. The most boring fighter who is up for a title. So that says it all.

It's interesting how you delved into the fighters from ONE fighting and explored their backgrounds. Leg kicks indeed play a pivotal role in many fights, as evident from McGregor's unfortunate leg break that was an Elbow from Dustin Poirier but that was all just Bruises,

That is one nasty sight it was like Takeru Segawa was a part of a Brotherhood in the Philippines or a gang member where the members are put to the test and will be executed to be hurt by a paddle on that part of the body if they can not withstand the pain they can leave but if they can they are in the Brotherhood, if that guy if not dead because of the beating after seeing this I remembered the deaths that have caused by the Brotherhood here in the Philippines and it hasn't stopped yet and still continues, for sure those victims they didn't deserve that,

But on to that injury for sure Superlek Kiatmoo9's kicks were so powerful that hitting a mere leg would be swollen like that sure his shin guard was really tough as Muay Thai fighters would train their shin-kicking banana threes or any kind of threes that are available or for sure even bamboo, for that kind of level f injury Superlek Kiatmoo9 must be training with bamboo trees,

It's indeed a brutal sight, and the resilience of these fighters is truly impressive. Despite the challenges and comparatively low pay of the MMA Sport, their dedication to the sport is commendable. Their passion and commitment shine through, making their performances all the more inspiring. It's a testament to their love for the sport and the sacrifices they're willing to make to pursue their dreams in the Octagon.

Just from the video I liked the "New era of Conor!" post on X with a picture of him hulked out on set of the filming of Road House.
The memes will keep coming in closer the release of it comes out.
Guess he thinks he will be The Rock of the UFC transititioning to hollywood productions and brands.

During that video, another UFC 300 fight was announced with Diego Lopes going up against Sodiq Yusuff.

Agreed. At this rate you wouldn't be surprised what the UFC will do just for competing against the WWE within it's partner company just for the attention.

For sure he will be the Rock version in the MMA and actually, after seeing the trailer I was really shocked at how great it was there is so much hype in this movie for sure I guess Conor McGregor will be great on the big screen than with the UFC but for sure because he is great in hyping things in the UFC and for sure he also got some reputation in it while doing the hyping thing and that is his trash talking.

While the UFC 300 is really that Stacked it keeps getting stacker and that new addition for me is not that much, but for sure this is just me complaining that there are so many breaks right now in the UFC maybe it is because of the upcoming UFC 300 that they are busy with the preparation,

At this point there are ALOT of fights for 300 announced but do all of them really stick?
I doubt it since as we all know there ALWAYS cancellations with events even one month out and we are talking about an event what, nearly two and a half months away? Come on, lets get real now.
With a sport such as MMA, injuries can happen the next day of heavy training. We have all seen it happen in past events.
Conor had a tweet the other day stating "The deal is done!" or something to similar to this. Anyone will see this as pointing to a main draw to 300 and not to where everybody was thinking at International fight week.
He will more likely be fighting Chandler due to all the focus they had already put in at the contender series last year. Unless Khabib suddenly announces coming out of retirement Cheesy Then this is the fight to be made.

Here is a video and at the end you can see the tweets being thrown around among the two fighters:
Conor McGregor DROPS A UFC 300 MAIN EVENT BOMBSHELL,Michael Chandler reacts,Tony reveals knee injury

Now there has been something said about Alex Pereira vs Khamzat Chimaev For UFC 300.
Think I had heard of Chimaev having issues with visa entrance into certain countries but who knows.

Never really liked The Rock or any of his movies.
I cant wait to see his next real fight in MMA, not in movies acting, and I have a feeling this is going to be one more embarrassing performance and lost fight, unless UFC and Dana finds him some weak and sick opponent.

Now we know why The Notorious was bulking up, for this movie role. As the bad guy!
They released the trailer today for the movie that seemed like ages to make and think it is a remake by the same name of the movie from the 90's. Just with the UFC being the catalyst for the storyline atleast for the buildup with Conor the baddie!

Road House - Official Trailer (2024) Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor McGregor
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqDMONePVV8

Watching just the trailer and it looks interesting I am really very interested with just the trailer and it is legit that I want to watch it right now, but I really don't think Conor McGregor is bulking up because of the movie he is bulking up before the movie, but yeah he looks so huge in that video, and his facial hair is still there in the movie and for sure it is not because of the movie, Conor McGregor just wants to be like that and feel like he has power,

But for sure that movie looks good and this is only the trailer, for sure some movies look really good in the trailer but when it comes to the whole movie it was very disappointing, I really wish it will not be a disappointment, because it will be an embarrassment for Conor McGregor,

Here is the video of some news on the MMA reactions of fighters in this Khamzat Chimaev is not impressed with the fight of Dricus Du Plessis VS Sean Strickland, he kind of may do a little great when he faces the champion next but we will surely see it when that time comes, Fedor Emelianenko has said that Mike Tyson has agreed on a fight and they are now searching for an organization that can facilitate the fight, and Julianna Peña said that the Mayra Bueno Silva VS Raquel Pennington was so bad that she doesn't buy the PPV, Chris Cyborg have accepted a fight for BKFC, South Africa Goes crazy for Dricus Du Plessis and the reaction of Conor McGregor toward his and Jake Gyllenhaal's new Movie Road House for sure all that news is here in this video,

As I also said, a champion will be marked as one after a defense. Not this time.
Let's go Adesanya! I bet he watched that fight somewhere and is now excited to try DDP.
Looks like you had seen the news about them headlining UFC 300 too from what Ariel had mentioned on his show.
Now that would make for a great main event fight card for certain.
To settle all the drama these two had been brewing for the past 6-7 months now.
So this is also why I am glad that Dricus won the fight so Adesanya can have his road to redemption like some anime character from Avatar or something similar to this.
Now that would make for a fantastic storyline for his comeback fight I am sure.
The good part about this is, that both fighters are a threat at any skill. Be it kickboxing or takedown attempts for a ground and pound.
DDP showed what Adesanya lacked when he fought Sean Strickland, takedown attempts because that will definitely exhaust Sean and then the judges can score it higher than the jabs of Sean.

But, Adesanya cannot just keep it at his level, this time he must step up his game because DDP is not something to be messed with. I believe he is already training according to his social media posts. Well, that's better because DDP didn't take that belt the easy way and Adesanya won't get it back easily from him too.
Plus, DDP is a big man, Adesanya should make sure that he can play his defense on takedown attempts that I am sure DDP will try against him.
Breaktime is over for the "The Last Stylebender".
He must prepare and I believe he can win this one if everything is done right.

Now we know why The Notorious was bulking up, for this movie role. As the bad guy!

Nice going with your spot on predictions and on having them all correct for your betslips!
It feels good when your right for these sort of fights.
I think there was a tally and most of the favorites lost their matches and only 2 out of the 9 home country fighters won their matches.
Which never really happens much in this sport.
Remember when UFC went to Paris, Mexico, Brazil and the UK?
Most of the home town fighters won their matches because that was the sole reason why Dana White put them on the card in the first place.
To represent!

Not a great night for me because I only got 1 out of 3 bet wins, and while we were reflecting on the current event, it was evident that the fight outcomes deviated from the usual patterns we observe in the sport. With most favorites falling short and only 2 out of the 9 home-country fighters securing victories, UFC 297 showcased a unique and unexpected turn of events. This unpredictability adds an extra layer of excitement, making each fight a thrilling spectacle for fans worldwide. The contrast with previous events in Paris, Mexico, Brazil, and the UK, where hometown fighters often triumphed, highlights the dynamic nature of mixed martial arts and the constant surprises it brings to the table. UFC 297 truly kept fans on the edge of their seats but one thing is for sure the next event UFC 298 will be more surprising and juicier for sure.

Tom keeps calling out jon jones who is in no mood to take the challenge and risk his record   Grin

If this fight does happen somehow id love to see tom kick jon's ass

The ongoing verbal sparring between Tom and Jon Jones has added an extra layer of excitement to the UFC landscape. Tom's persistent callouts have created a buzz, while Jon Jones seems hesitant to put his record on the line. The anticipation surrounding a potential matchup is palpable, with fans eagerly speculating on the outcome,

If this showdown were to materialize, the clash of styles and personalities would undoubtedly make for an enthralling spectacle. Tom's bravado and eagerness to take on the challenge contrast with Jon Jones's reluctance, creating a narrative that fuels fan discussions. The prospect of witnessing Tom attempting to kick Jon's ass has captured my imagination, and adding a touch of drama to the hypothetical scenario,

In the unpredictable world of mixed martial arts, such matchups often transcend the sport itself, becoming a cultural phenomenon. Whether this fight becomes a reality or remains a tantalizing "what if," the discourse surrounding it reflects the dynamic nature of the UFC, where personalities and rivalries play a significant role alongside the in-cage action.

Thanks, it was just luck, but for sure that analysis helps a lot Dricus Du Plessis got wrestling which helped a lot in this fight and I also saw that Du Plessis got the edge on that so I went for Dricus even though it was tempting to bet for Strickland because of his defense it was likely Dricus takedowns that disrupting Strickland's focus on his defense, the Philly shell pretty much needs a straight body and focus on where you will defend, while the takedown defense means you will need to crouch a little bit to get ready to defend it, and Dricus Du Plessis has gotten a lot of takedowns on Strickland,

And for sure those Canadian fighters didn't do well on their home turf, mostly Dana thought that Strickland would win this but of course, didn't happen if maybe there is a majority of Canadian fighters won this fight then that would be a relief for the UFC but it didn't happen,

Congratulations you guys.
My instincts were right. Du Plessis did a great job controlling the pace.

Congrats aswell I think you did great and Du Plessis did control the pace because of his takedowns, and sure Strickland does a great job not getting entangled with the scramble, for sure the ground is what Du Plessis is aiming for and Strickland didn't for other techniques which mixed martial arts have suggested there are many strategies you can do with the fight and Strickland just resorted to just 1,

Tom keeps calling out jon jones who is in no mood to take the challenge and risk his record   Grin

If this fight does happen somehow id love to see tom kick jon's ass

For sure Aspinall has a point he just wants to fight and I think he got the pass to challenge the real Champion sure this is because Tom Aspinall is the Interim Champion now so he got the qualification that Jon Jones is asking he is just trying to avoid it and go the route of the easy path, for sure if Jon Jones doesn't want to just he should vacate the title for someone who wants to fight not giving Aspinall a fake title just to say there is a representative Heavyweight Champion, just because he wants to fight Miocic, he keeps on Spouting something like that,
