Izzy has removed the doubt of many who thought he can't win Pereira in this game. Glad to see the joy in his face when he knocked his opponent to the floor. Like the OP said, a whole lot of fans supported Izzy to win the game. Though it would have been a shame if he lost this match to Periera, his fans would have made fun out of Izzy. Izzy is strong contendant and knows TKO well enough, he'll bounce back stronger.

Dana White announced that Pereira will likely move up to 2005 which is a light heavyweight where he has a good chance to become champion again, Jamahal Hill is the current light heavyweight champion.
Dana will not support an immediate third meeting between the two although there is a clamor for a third meeting in the UFC because it's even, we all know Dana he wants to protect the interest of the UFC so there will be no third meeting for now.

Yes, Pereira officially announced that he is moving up the weight class to 205. HERE's the official video, if anyone's interested.  Light heavyweight is fairly stacked. I don't think Pereira will straight up get a title shot. He'll have to fight someone like Jan Błachowicz or Magomed Ankalaev and then see how it goes. Can't wait for his fight going to be announced. UFC just keeps getting better.

There's definitely going to be another fight between the 2. I haven't really seen anyone capable of challenging Adesanya like Pereira does. These 2 guys are at an elite level that nobody even comes close to at their division. Will just have to wait and see, when UFC thinks its time for the champ to defend the title again.

I thought Alex Pereira said the fight is going to be the last fight between both of them? Well I don't doubt the fact that these guys are champs when it comes to the UFC but I think it will take a long time before we get to here them fighting each other again cause right now if Israel is to defend his tittle soon it's not going to be interested now because a lot of people expect them to face more challengers instead of fighting just each other.
Alex will def be fighting someone else for now but who's even close to these two, that can challenge for the title? If Alex wins his next fight, I think we are in for a 3rd fight between the two. There's enough drama between the two already and UFC knows how to milk it. Unless Pereira never wants to fight for the title, expect him to fight Israel again.

Izzy claimed victory in the second round with a brutal knockout, and I never once doubted his ability to win in his second UFC matchup. Watching Izzy defeat Alex was incredibly satisfying, particularly since he had previously lost to him three times in a row. Both fighters put on an impressive display of sportsmanship during the match, and I'm hopeful to see a third bout between them in the UFC. Alex's post-match speech was truly awe-inspiring, giving me chills and confirming that he rightfully deserves the championship belt. As an added bonus, my bet on Izzy paid off and proved to be a winning decision. This win is a significant milestone in Izzy's career, and it cements his position as one of the UFC's top fighters. However, it's important to acknowledge Alex's skill and resilience as well. Despite the loss, Alex remains a formidable opponent, and I have no doubt that he will come back stronger in future matches.

After watching the fight back I’m not sure Izzy was pulling a masterful rope a dope. It looked a bit like he was getting pounded on and then threw some haymakers as a last attempt to not get put down. They landed perfectly and he got a clean win, but this was a close fight. If I were Izzy I would want a new opponent too.

Exactly, the scene was very familiar, almost similar to what happened in their first match. Pereira was pounding Izzy, pushing his back at the side of the octagon, absorbing defensive and survival blows while throwing highly accurate and stronger ones until Izzy expires. It just so happened that Izzy was able to throw a strong counter haymaker that landed on the right spot at the right time that really stopped Pereira. Everything changed. If it didn't happen, the result of the first match would have been repeated.

No official announcement yet I think its too early but Adesanya himself already told the press that if Pereira wants another match with him, Pereira would have to work hard for it to be given another title shot. Its something like a big NO but it seem to make sense as well to which he added that he already have given Pereira the chance to get a belt even when he only beaten one top fighter such as Sean Strickland.
That's an easy for Pereira to accomplish it, Sean Strickland do have a heart and he will try to his best even though he was forced to fight with an another fighter because of sudden replacement, just like how his last fought against Imavov.

But I heard Pereira will move to the next weight rather than fight with Adesanya again.

What a display of violence by Israel Adensanya! that was one of the best cold-blooded knockouts in the UFC. I hope there will be a trilogy, but as Adesanya said, he's not interested because he already got his redemption. I don't know if Alex Pereira will stay in the middleweight division or move up to the lightweight division. If they are planning to move up, that would be great, and I would love to watch him compete against Jiri Prohazka and Jamahal Hill for the championship belt.

Lol, there was no violence there, there's not even a blood spilled on that fight if I'm not mistaken. It was a display of heart and resiliency on the part of Adesanya that despite him losing the first 2 fights, he still believed in himself that he can beat Alex Pereira and he even envisioned that it will be quick and that's really happen in this fight and if ever one lesson here, just listen to his post fight interview by Joe Rogan. He will have to go up in lightweight, he seems to have problems staying at middle weight in my opinion.

It actually looks like he was in trouble in that exchange but it could also be that he planned it all to make Periera lower his guard and it's exactly what happened when Pereira began to be very confident after throwing the body shot.

This Pereira's fall is making lots of fans want more to have another shot for the two in the cage. As much as DC wants it to happen, Adesanya had already spoken about declining Alex unless he crawls up the rank beating the top fighters.

I am in favor of a third fight of the two in the UFC. That Adesanya lost a couple of times to Pereira in kickboxing is not part of the story anymore. That's just history that isn't even MMA. The UFC record is 1-1 to both Pereira and Adesanya. So it is fair to have a third match if only to break the tie.

That was a great match. The first one was also a great match. There is no reason to deprive MMA fans of another great match in a second UFC rematch. Both fighters deserve it also.

If only Pereira survived those counterblows, this could have easily been a repeat of their first match. But Pereira was also the one who got saved by the bell in their first fight. A third fight is needed.
I didn't expect Adesanya to be able to win TKO from Pereira, he seemed to have prepared everything from the start, this was Adesanya's first win against Pereira, I'm sure there will be another match between the two that will take place in the next few years

I can say that the two of them have an eternal rivalry, apart from that Israel's Adesanya uses the "mocking" celebration that Pereira's son did to him first. really entertaining Cheesy

The fight could end with either of them winning via knockout. They both have the power. So the knockout win could come from Adesanya or Pereira. They're also very eager to prove something.

Although I really want to see a tie breaker, it seems the interest to have a rematch is very low. Dana White is not interested. Even Pereira himself is not interested anymore. Adesanya has also declared that he is not anymore interested in facing Pereira once more. So the rivalry is not eternal. It has already ended.
Alex Pereira is planning on moving up to 205 from 185 which he cut weight so to accommodate continue fighting in this weight-class.
Dana White even confirmed this during the post-fight press conference so don't expect them to fight anytime soon.
Plus, Pereira is not allowed to fight for another six months due to the nature of that knockout according to UFC rules and doctors are obligated too not allow fighters to take on another fight so soon afterwards.
https://www.mma-core.com/videos/Alex_Pereira_is_GETTING_six_month_SUSPENSION_following_KO_loss_Israel_Adesanya_refuses_REMATCH/10501497

So don't expect Alex Pereira in octagon until the fourth quarter of the year and he will possibly be fighting in the light heavyweight division at that time.

Yes, Alex Pereira definitely needs enough rest. That knockout punch that he got from Adesanya was not a soft one. Pereira was already shut down before his body even touched the floor. He probably even got a fracture on his face as a result of that serious blow. He needs enough time to fully recover and be in 100% health condition when he comes back to face another opponent. And yes, most probably in 205 already.

Adesanya is mocking Pereira with his celebration, it's a good revenge by him.
Pereira's son mocked Israel before when he was knocked out, Israel was just returning the favour. There will be another fight and by then the pressure would have shifted to Israel who will now be bearing the weight of trying to defend the belt he just won. Israel need to not rest but to continue developing and polishing his techniques so he can be ready before an official date for the next fight between the two of them be announced. It will be tougher.
was the fight confirmed? A lot of people are looking to have the two fight again to further cement who's the better fighter but as far as I know no official announcement from any party, not even UFC's that says they are confirmed to get a new fight. In any case I think this will be one of the biggest fight in UFC history, seeing as this fight already made grounds on the internet, partly because of Israel Adesanya's massive KO win against Pereira. But I digress, I don't think the fight is confirmed yet by any party, but I can expect the both of them being very eager to face each other in the ring for another fight or so just to really prove who's big and who's not worthy of the title.

No official announcement yet I think its too early but Adesanya himself already told the press that if Pereira wants another match with him, Pereira would have to work hard for it to be given another title shot. I agree, that's what my read as well during Adesanya's post interview, that somewhat Pereira was "given" the opportunity to have a crack at the belt. While him work his way out for years defeating good fighters in his way to become a champion.

Nevertheless, the plot just thickens, I mean we want to see another fight between the two great fighters.

But if Pereira can get back to the ring, sort of going for a title eliminator, who knows, maybe just a couple of fights and then we will see this warriors on the ring again. Pereira still has Adesanya's number though, just saying.

Man, that Adesanya-Pereira brawl was straight fire, just like you said! Adesanya clinching that TKO victory had me shook, 'cause Pereira ain't no slouch. But hey, that's the game, and you're right – these two got a never-ending face-off. It's a sport that makes you ponder the essence of rivalry and human prowess. Still, I'm mad amped about the idea there won't be a rematch. Both Adesanya and Pereira got stacks to show, and I'm betting they'll clash again down the road. Remember, sports ain't just about the drama, but camaraderie and props too. Even with their heated rivalry, I know Adesanya and Pereira got mad respect for each other.

This wasnt a display of violence, just to good hooks in the section of a temple Cheesy If you think this is a "best cold-blooded knockout", then I suggest you to look for KO compilations on YouTube Cheesy But no doubt, those two hooks were well timed. Adesanya said that he isnt interested in fighting same person 3 times in a row. He isnt interested in fighting Pereira not because he has got redemption. This isnt a redemption, it is 1-3 between them so far. And you have funny confused lightweight and light heavyweight Cheesy Pereira barely fits in 185lb, and you say he will move to 155lb. Cant imagine Pereira even physically fitting in 155lb. He would probably have to cut his arm to fit in Cheesy
