It is not comfort to play in the telegram, when you can use different apps from PokerStart for example. Or at least the website for desktop gamblers.
There are lots of successful casinos and pokers on telegram. Many were created a long time ago, it's made easier for some now due to the integration of wallets into the telegram application. Many crypto users spend lots of time on telegram already, so it's convenient to have your poker available there.

What matters is the amount of games offered, ease of withdrawal and protection of user privacy.
Playgram, you are talking about, created their ANN thread on May 10, 2024. I don`t sure that it is "long ago". I tried several telegram application and can`t say that they are bad. But they are not the best. First of all i will prefer website or desktop app, later mobile app, and only after it - telegram app.

If i remember right, it was the same poker here about a month before. The result wasn`t great. I think it depends on telegram. It is not comfort to play in the telegram, when you can use different apps from PokerStart for example. Or at least the website for desktop gamblers.
But anyway - good luck, may be your version would be more interesting.
You make an interesting point, because I know exactly which telegram poker mini-apps you are referring too.
So firstly NO! Its not the same at all. We will have mobile and desktop mode, but playable on web version. Not a downloadable client or mobile application.

However, I think Ultimate Poker will surprise you. Think 888poker, GGPoker, Pokerstars and PartyPoker re-designed to fit a telegram mini-app

Welcome ultimatepoker. I guess that we're starting to most of these newly launched casinos choose to get their apps into the TON network and Telegram as their main gate for their visitors. But isn't it hectic at all that you have to open your telegram account and then have to go through your app there? Whilst for having a website, you just simply input it and get directly to your casino. Or, it might be you have plans of launching your website soon together with your app? Because if it's with the typical online casinos, they've got mirror links. As for, you can make use of your website or your telegram app as either.

Hi there.
Thank you for the kind welcome.

Telegram mini-apps offers users a much better and swifter process as users do not have to register, share their email, password or any other private information to login. Similarly by integrating the TON wallet, transferring funds are seamless, both operations ie. Registration and Deposit/Withdrawals are done with a touch of a button.

I think for players wishing to play anonymously telegram mini-apps is a great alternative. Furthermore, the mini-app is not downloadable. You can play on any device desktop, mobile or tablet that supports the telegram app.

The second stage of our project will indeed be a launch of a desktop client and mobile app for download. However even in this case users will be prompted to login via telegram. For anonymity and for extra security protocols like removal of bots and other software that are typically found on poker rooms.

Your more than welcome to join our Telegram channel for live updates at

Thanks for the question
Welcome and I thank you too. Before, telegram apps really don't give that much attention to the most of us but I guess that whenever these first telegram-apps that became successful, the narrative has changed eventually for them. And that's why I think that many of you guys are going to come by then.
I see that despite that there will be a desktop client, you will still redirect your users going to the telegram app. If that's how it is going to be to your progress and development, good luck. Because there are not that much poker-focused tables that have been seen here.

I've been curious about how Telegram mini-apps would work for poker.

I can see the convenience of not having to download anything, but I do wonder about the user interface on a smaller screen. Will there be a desktop mode for Telegram that makes it easier to see the cards and table?

Hey Text,

If you habe played on Pokerstars, GG, 888poker or any other reputable poker brand on mobile, i believe the experience will be very similar in UI/UX. Besides not having to download an app, or register the experience of playing will be very similar.

Desktop/Tablet mode: Absolutely! We are developing the game (or better put, already developed) to function natively on all devices including desktop and tablets of various sizes.

The logic here would be the same, login via Telegram, and instantly access the poker room auto-logged in.

Once logged in, youll have to choose a screen-name (as we dont want other users seeing your telegram handle name)

Other than that your in a very similar environment as any of the big poker brands out there

We are developing now the UI/UX with a VERY experienced team in gaming and specifically poker

I was interested in that questions as well and I am happy you have addressed it, and being my very first time on this thread, I did like to also say a warm welcome to you and your team to this forum, nice coming to this forum to discuss your up coming product.

I've played a ton of games on casinos that are purely based on telegram, and one thing I have to say it that casinos building on telegram seems to be become a thing as each day breaks, and I will be happy to try this one out when it launches, though I don't even know how to play poker yet, but I guess am going to use your casino to learn how to.

Anyways, wishing you guys luck, and hope you have plans for marketing as soon as the game launches fully, because this days, it's not really about having a good casino and game listed, it's more about marketing.

Hi there,
I truly appreciate your support.

If your new to poker, I suggest you practice on our freeroll tournaments! Free entrance, real prizes, running 24/7. The prizes are small, but It’ll be a great way to get acquainted with playing poker.

In regards to marketing, we have several avenues we are leaning into, not just after the launch, rather way before. This includes paid ads on telegram, social, affiliation, SEO and of course running some signature campaigns right here on this fine forum!

There are already 2 Telegram poker apps here on the forum, one still has freerolls every other day, so you can try it tomorrow night (freeroll).
I can't say I like them very much, but they are not too bad either. Both are similar, they lack some features... they are still far from desktop poker apps in my opinion. Try it and you will see what it's all about.

We are developing now the UI/UX with a VERY experienced team in gaming and specifically poker

Welcome to the forum. I hope you will prepare something different and more interesting than others. I think it's necessary if you really want to attract players, and of course, a nice selection of tournaments and initial investments in freeroll seems kind of mandatory to me. Stake showed how to open a poker place.

I wish you the best of luck, I will follow you on Telegram.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I am aware of the Poker apps available on telegram.
There are infact several, but only 2 have attempted to build an app with all the functionality of cash games and tournaments.

Our poker room is different.
We have invested alot of time and manpower in developing the right software and the correct UI/UX to bring this to life.

The software will be available on any device, desktop included and will be responsive per device.

We will have several key promos to keep our players engaged especially during launch:
24/7 freerolls
Up to 60% Rakeback
100% first deposit bonus up to $250
Weekly Leaderboards in cash games
Missions - solve tasks to get rewarded ($ plus tournament dollars)

As for Games:
We will have 6 types for tournaments:
Guaranteed
Bounty Hunters
Omaha Masters
Freerolls
Cherokee Specials (more info on a later date)
Sit&Goes

Cash Games:
Texas Holdem
Omaha 4/5/HL
Pineapple
Other variants
Bombpot action
And alot more

Similar to Pokerstars RushPoker we are introducing our own version of
Turbo Poker and Spin Poker.

Looking forward to seeing you in our official telegram channel @ultimatepoker_io

Best

Ask about it because I've been in this forum and in this crypto gambling industry for years and still find it hard to see successful telegram based casinos.
Especially when it comes to specific game of poker, the fact is that there were so many failed web based poker sites during the past 10 years in this crypto gambling industry.
I myself still prefer web based casino than telegram based casino as it is still more comfortableand better to play casino games in a browser than telegram app.

Hey there.

I think perhaps you don’t fully understand how some of these telegram applications work.
The Telegram mini-app are infact web based applications built on HTML5. Think of telegram as a gateway, much like Facebook-Connect. Allowing the user to register using their telegram login instead of full registration.

Ontop of which other applications can be synchronised into the poker app, like web3 wallets for immediate funding.

I agree with you that most telegram apps are rather simplistic and dont have a good UI/UX
We are doing things differently and hope to take this market by storm.

Stay tuned i think youll be pleasantly surprised.

Playgram is one of such successful casinos which operates on telegram, and their ANN thread is on the first page of the gambling board. I will rather not discuss competing services (pokers) on this thread, but with some search you can find a few.

That's fine, gamblers have preferences and it's good to have services for whatever each is looking for.

Welcome to the forum.

One thing I want to add, the name is not really the best choice to be fair.
Ultimate poker (as part of ultimate bet) had a huge scandal in the early 2010s when their software had a backdoor and some people were able to see all player's cards..
So your name is kind of tainted because of this.  Undecided I would consider a slight rebrand if it's not too late and not too expensive.

But anyway, good luck with your business.

Hey, thanks for the warm welcome.

We are aware of the UltimateBet/Absolute Poker Scandal from way back i believe it was in 2010 or so.

We are Ultimate Poker, not Ultimate Bet. Completely different brand.

Infact, a few years ago there was a brand in Las Vegas that launched as Ultimate Poker and closed their doors very early on into their endeavor.

We feel that the name will not affect the brand whatsoever. Different Name, different Logo, different app and technology.

If you play poker online i suggest you join our channel for updates.
We have several technological advancements utilized to make sure our players are safe. Fraud detection, anti-colluding software, RNG and implementation of Captcha within cash-games and tournaments in intervals to make sure no bots are on the table. We have a set of other detection capabilities we run via telegram to disable the use of bots and early detection of player collusion.

We aim at being the Number #1 Telegram Poker App, where users can simply login and quickly start playing at their leisure without having to face security issues or common withdrawal issues.

Join our channel and I believe as we get closer to launch, the picture of what were building will start getting clearer.

Best!

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for letting us know what you guys will be coming up with before the launch. I have noticed recently that a few casinos have launched their platform on Telegram. But, according to my awareness, this will be the first casino to use the TON blockchain. I have a few questions regarding your casino.

1. Why use TON blockchain?
2. How will you handle congestion on TON as it will delay withdrawals?
3. Other than Telegram, will there be a website?

Thanks for the warm welcome!

TON will not be the only option for deposits and withdrawals, but because TON wallet is native to Telegram, we think this will benefit our players immensely. Also to transfer funds from TON to TON carries extremely low network costs, and is comparably fast. however other web3 fund transfer options will be available including metamask and trustwallet

We will have a website.
