Also, as far as I know, it is allowed to make a ban appeal with a new account and post within the Meta section. If this is wrong, please let me know.

There is no problem with this, however, it is not guaranteed that it will gain the attention necessary. Nevertheless, using the forum with a secondary account (like Official_Bitdeer.com) is forbidden. Sending a mail is a better and more direct approach.

"If you get banned (temporarily or permanently) and create a new account to continue posting / sending PMs, it's considered ban evasion. The only exception is creating a thread in Meta about your ban." (Forum rules)

Wait. I've harked about BitDeer in the past as well.

In fact, I made a post a day or two ago in the wrong section that got deleted by frodocooper because it was in the Mining section instead of the services section.

Anyway, looking into the post from Lightlord, I see his reason to tag and report Bitdeer to be just. However, I also believe the other side of the story presented by Bitdeer.

Hence I would like to extend my support for their account's reinstatement.

I did not know BitDeer was banned on Bitcointalk. And looking into the explanation made by Lightlord it seems like a clear case of plagiarism at first sight.
But now that I hear their side of the story, I can totally understand the real picture.

My main concern is the reason for the ban. Was it purely because the supposedly copied a design? or was it something else? Could moderators make a clear stance on this?
I've said it before and I'll say it again :-

99.99% of Cloudmining websites that you see on the internet are nothing but a ponzi scheme or a honey trap. You will lose your money no matter what.
Only a few turn out to be good, genesis mining, hashnest, Bitdeer and a few others. Beyond these big names, all the small ones are pretty much scam and the further you stay away from them, the better it is for you.

Being one of the few legit and big ones out there,it doesn't look right to ban their account like this for what could really be an honest mistake. And I think they should be given a 2nd chance.

NOTE : THIS IS IN NO WAY AN ENDORSEMENT AND I AM NOT BEING PAID BY BITDEER TO SAY THIS. JUST MY TWO CENTS.

Yes, we can confirm that we do not know you. But your support for our cause is appreciated.

After you log in to the account, you should be able to see a note why you've been banned. Including a way to appeal your ban, which is sending an email to the designated email address. Creating additional accounts is a violation of the forum rules as it is basically a ban evasion. Try to reach out to the specified email and appeal your ban there instead.

Thank you for letting us know but this time we want to hear this from forum administrators. We were already misled by some other forum member when we hired them to do the banner design for us. We want to do things right this time. The email id that the original account was opened with, was handled by someone from our staff. I will find out the login details and try to seek this email address you speak of.

This is an unban appeal for the main account of BitDeer : https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bitdeercom-2509476

Which was autobanned following this issue brought up by Lightlord : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitdeer-plagiarism-theft-of-anothers-work-5144487

Our explanation:

We are not experts of Bitcointalk forum, we have had no clue why this issue of plagiarism was brought up at the time. And did not pursue the matter at the time.

About the plagiarised design, we hired someone who gave us this banner ad and we went with it. We even paid them good money to create the banners. We had no idea that this design had been used in this forum in the past or otherwise, I hope you guys can understand our situation and where we are coming from.

If we can spend on advertisement on this forum, we can spend for paying an original design, it was only the lack of knowledge about this forum and its other campaigns that we did not realize our mistake.

Given the circumstance, I hope lightlord would consider removing the negative trust review from our profile page, or at least consider doing so. We want to make a proper come back to this forum and help our community grow and interact with us and let the broader Bitcointalk community know of our existence.

And it would be very much appreciated that the moderators allow us to either use this current account in official status or unban the old one and delete this new one that we are making this appeal from. Either option works.
