Using faucet hub i withdrew 2000 doge coins. Faucet hub being a micro wallet i had several different addresses per coin. My problem is now i cant find my 2000 doge coins? I dont know which platform or site that particular doge address is linked to. How can i find out where my doge address goes to or
As far as I'm aware, there is no easy way to be able to identify which wallet/platform/site an address is linked to. That is to say, there is no "global directory" etc. At best you can put the address into Google and see if it pops up any results relating to a particular website (unlikely)... or you can try searching for that address on a block explorer and see if any of the transaction history triggers your memory as to what wallet/site it might be from.

how to reverse the transaction?
This is impossible... there is no way to reverse transactions.

Those miners are killing Bitcoin.
I know everyone likes to vilify the miners and make them the "Bad Guys"™ but it is other BTC users driving up the fees, specifically the ones willing to pay more than you to get their transaction confirmed. The miners just take the highest fees on offer, can't blame them really...

if someone offered you $10 to do a job, and someone else offered $100 which would you take? Tongue

No, wallet.dat is ONLY useful for Bitcoin Core (Bitcoin-QT)... as far as I'm aware, no other wallet will be able to read/write to wallet.dat without causing issues.

To abandon the transaction, you may need to shutdown Bitcoin Core, restart it using the "-walletbroadcast=0" option... and then you should be able to right click the transaction and select "abandon transaction" from the popup menu. Shutdown, and restart Bitcoin Core WITHOUT the walletbroadcast option
That did the job! Just had to: "shutdown Bitcoin Core, restart it from command prompt using the "-walletbroadcast=0" option...then right click the transaction and select "abandon transaction" from the popup menu. Shutdown, and restart Bitcoin Core WITHOUT the walletbroadcast option"
Those miners are killing Bitcoin. Now I am not sure what fee to put, thinking to exchange all my BTC to ETH or DASH or something...
Thank You very much!
edit: strange, after wallet restart I saw my btc back. closed wallet. started again after hour and same transaction with low fee was on again!
So I repeated same procedure  and now am waiting it to be dropped from mempool (again)  Cry

Your transaction is not showing on ANY blockexplorers that I can see (aside from chain.so)... so it looks like the transaction has been dropped by the majority of nodes. If this is the case, then you should be able to create a new transaction.

Can you abandon the transaction? If that doesn't work, try "-walletbroadcast=0"... if you still can't abandon the transaction...

Then you may need to try the "-zapwallettxes, -rescan" method of removing the transaction from your wallet (-zapwallettxes will actually remove ALL txes from your wallet, so I'd suggest taking a backup of your wallet.dat first should you run into any issues with zapwallet and rescan)

Thanks for reply!
How to abandon the transaction ( now I want to try one by one ) ?
Is it ok to use wallet.dat on a new wallet?

Unfortunately yes... Bitcoin fees have gone through the roof Sad  The Bitcoin ecosystem is a LOT different to 4 years ago... long gone are the days of sending transactions for 1c Undecided

https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ and https://btc.com/stats/unconfirmed-tx are both showing 500+ sats/byte...  Seems the number of unconfirmed transactions is still around 40,000+... which is down from the 100,000+ a week or two ago... but the "size" of the mempool is relatively stable at 120-130 megabytes... seems people are trying to push very large transactions through! Undecided

Were you trying to send from MultiBit Classic or MultiBit HD?

In any case, you should really read this: https://multibit.org/blog/2017/07/26/multibit-shutdown.html

And STOP USING MULTIBIT! It is old, outdated, full of bugs and there is no more development or support! Undecided Follow the YouTube videos to learn how to migrate your wallet to Electrum (https://electrum.org/#download).

Just make sure you get Electrum v3.0.5! Wink

Yesterday I made a transaction and I got this error: Waiting for feedback about this transaction from the Bitcoin network

Now I have this situation:

And blockchain gives as there is no transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx-index/4cf13141498e7a31e769329323bb741df974c5afdedac7f46569930b3b432e04

What to do?

Any help? How can I get it dropped or through (I was sending it to myself) ?

It could be anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks (or longer)... there is not set time for any node to drop a transaction from it's mempool... the default used to be 3 days (72 hours)... this was changed from around Bitcoin Core v13 or v14 to 14 days I believe... however, node owners are free to choose any value they like.

In addition, if the wallet (or anyone else) keeps rebroadcasting the transactions, theoretically, the transaction might never disappear.

If you're in contact with the online wallet people... tell them to start sending transactions with proper fees Tongue Roll Eyes

Your transaction is at the end of a VERY long chain of unconfirmed transactions... I gave up counting after I got to about 25-30 Roll Eyes Undecided Sad

I'm not sure where you received these coins from, but whatever "online wallet" it was is pretty shit. Instead of batching up withdrawals and sending them all in one hit, they simply use previously unconfirmed outputs Undecided and to top it off... the average fee they seem to have used is about 80-90 sats/byte Sad  When recommmended fees have been 500+ for like two weeks! Roll Eyes

It is going to take a LONG time for that transaction to confirm... and unless you feel like doing a CPFP to cover every single one of those unconfirmed transactions (which is likely to cost you something like 1 BTC in fees Tongue) then there is precisely ZERO you can do to get that transaction confirmed.

Seriously consider NEVER using that online service again... it is broken. Undecided

hello i have this transaction unconfirmed cause low transaction fee.

can i have it back on my wallet?
how many days need to confirm or cancel the transaction?
If it stays unconfirmed long enough... maybe up to 2 weeks to fully drop, assuming your wallet is not rebroadcasting the transaction. Then, effectively, the coins will "return" to your wallet.

With a fee that low... and currently 100,000+ unconfirmed transactions... it will take days if not weeks before your transaction is confirmed.

i lose my money?
No. Don't worry, the transaction will confirm or the coins will come back... it could just take a long time.

Also, you should stop using MultiBit as it is no longer developed or supported... and it is very old and outdated and has a lot of potentially disastrous bugs. Please read: https://www.multibit.org and follow the link to the Blog post explaining your options.

I would recommend that you seriously consider migrating to Electrum (https://electrum.org/#download)

Your fees are at least 10 sats/byte, so you should be able to use ViaBTC Transaction accelerator... and/or confirmtx.com. Start with this one first: 4f4c534efbfdb53398d0d9cba461abde74e2c635a88a5ecee8f7cdb0d70c6f0d

Once it is confirmed, then try accelerating the other transaction.

EDIT: Ok... so I accelerated 4f4c534efbfdb53398d0d9cba461abde74e2c635a88a5ecee8f7cdb0d70c6f0d and it now has been confirmed... I'll try and accelerate your other one when I get a chance

you're welcome Wink

EDIT2: and now 221980229e58bdd1a3d9ec3cf76d0b727cc5cab750a75f286fdd659d1ab38641 is accelerated... it should pick up a confirmation in an hour or 3 Wink
