That is UNESCO's opinion. It doesn't mean the opinion of others. Respect is just want we need right now. We just need to respect its other and get along.

For me personally, all Muslims are terrorists. They differ only by the fact that some Muslims are attacking openly call for Jihad, while others are waiting their time and disguised as good citizens. I don't trust them.
Peace is not about religion nor race. It's simply about respect and understanding.
Let's take the example of dispute between the UK and Ireland ... where religion plays a role? who the terrorists are and who the victims of terror?
It is precisely Islam that teaches a lot of mutual respect, mutual understanding, mutual helping fellow human beings, protecting the preservation of the earth and its contents.
For me ... mission that brought the terrorists are not religious mission, not Islamic mission.
Moslems or Christians maybe terrorists. Although No other religion that teaches its followers to commit terror. Crime humans based on religious attitude has existed since the time of Adam and Eve had their first offspring. That's the first act of terror on earth.
And now ... On behalf in the Holy War, Crusade, Jihad, in the end ridden by the rotten politicians, rulers be demons, using guile to the languages of religion to unleash the ambitions and greed.

Most of the major religion-based terror organizations (such as the ISIS and the Al Qaeda) take inspiration from the Islamic teachings. There may be a few terror organizations based on Christianity, Buddhism.etc., but they are less than 1% of the total.

Well i have to agree on this one islam is one peaceful religion they don't really harm people in any other way they will just focus on their beliefs and they don't even act upon on other religions like muslim they just don't really care about what will happened but they will just be in peace because they believe that they are the religion of peace and they are right for now they don't really harm i haven't heard from the news that they are bad persons and terrorism is not their goal but just to take peace in the world

This is very true. And Israel has promoted war or violence (who started it depends on perspective) with Palestine for decades...so Jews are not without their violence in the name of religion.
Hindu and Buddhists would be peaceful though, no?
It would be a mistake to try to discuss logically and honestly what is no more than a piece of political propaganda.
Islam is peaceful except when it isn't.

I am sure that the UNESCO report nothing more than a political statement. I have my own eyes. Islam is not a friendly religion and to me all Muslims are terrorists. In Islam Muslims can not even interpret Sura.The United Nations and its sister agencies have lost all their importance. What is the point in declaring one religion as better than the others? It is not something that I expect the UN to do.

This is just a political game. I though UNESCO had some good things, since they were electing some true beauties to be preservated, but if they come in Socialists' game, they are to be destroyed, as this fake religion.

I think theres the problem there. We tend to lift one religion iver the other and we can just accept the simple fact that peace is not about religion nor race. Its simply about respect and understanding. The way christians react to what unesco declared tells us that we can't accept islam as a better religion. Same way that we vision islam as the main religion of terrorism. I think in the big picture, its nit about islam, nor christianity nor any other religion. Its about how we look after each other as fellow humans.

I actually agree with that statement that "terror has no religion, Islam means peace". Those terrorist individuals though they came from Islam Populated communities but they do not practice Islam. They promote violence and terror and thus they cannot be considered a muslim. A muslim is a person who practice and preach love and peace that the Quran is promoting, a terrorist uses qoutes from the Quran and mix it to fit it into their own violent agenda.
So there are different beliefs within Islam, some advocate violence and some don't.
That's all this matter reduces to.
But if someone argues against the Koran in this fashion in a country with Sharia law, then they are imprisoned and tortured or worse.
Therefore you see that one type of interpretation of Koran advocates violence (toward apostates), and so does another type of interpretation (violent jihad). You must accept then, that Islam advocates violence, although it may ALSO advocate peace.

Yup. I think this is true. Maybe on the earlier days of Islam. Just feel sad that because of politics, it became the worst religion for me. A religion that spreads terrorism around the world. Killing innocent people is really unforgivable to me. I think this is the produ t of false doctrines of a false prophet. Religion should be bringing peace not destruction.
Many people were killed during the earlier days of Islam. At least 80 million were killed during the conquests in India alone.

I think you mean jihad. many terrorist claim that their just doing jihad because they kill those are against or not the same religion, i don't believe that islam is the most religion. I will start believing if the terrorist attacks in middle east will be escalated. I think UNESCO is influenced by many muslim people so that it can change their image to the public
