I don't know about any other person but personally, I've come to discover that winnings that are unexpected excites the most than the winnings that are expected, regardless of the amount of money involved.
Recently, I placed a bet on sports match, and somehow, I was very certain I was going to win it, the match started and at the end, I won my bet, odd was 1.4, not going to mention the amount I used for bet, but I won a good sum, i wasn't all that excited because it's a winning I had expected, in fact, I would have been more surprised if I hadn't won.
Then I remembered that some time ago, I was playing plinko with a random balance that was remaining on my account, I wasn't expecting any winnings, I just wanted to have fun and empty my balance, I set the risk level to "high" and was betting $0.1 on each ball that came down, I can't tell how many rounds I've played but soon enough, my account balance that was below $5 was already $40+, this money was not near the amount i won from sports betting but I was overly excited, possibly because I never really expected to win this much.
This is why I've come to this conclusion that winnings that are unexpected are more exciting than winning that have been predetermined/expected.
Feel free to comment your thoughts on this, or perhaps you have an experience to share, please feel free.
To me winning is winning be it expected and unexpected once the winning comes you feels so supper professional in your mind. But sometimes when you expect and never wins it almost gives someone heart break that is why when playing gambling you don't have to expect winning or even expect lose, just be at the normal balance that any is possible and likely to happened. As most people may have when unexpected winnings comes it gives them that Joy and happiness towards that random winning for that they would likely spent it back to the casino because would feels that there another Wining coming right beside after the previous winning.
Well, I agree with you that expecting a win which turn out to be a loss at that end of the day can give person a heart attack, or almost, this is something I have personally experienced in the past when for the very first time, I used around $3000 ($2,800) precisely to bet on a sport game I was very certain that my choice team would win, I've discussed about this on this forum on multiple occasions.
At the end of the match, my choice team lost and my $2,800 was gone, it was like I was dreaming, I fainted and was rushed to the hospital, spent 3 days there, and It took me over a year to recover from the shock of that loss.
So, indeed, expecting to win a bet and ending up not winning can be very heart breaking, but it's depends on the amount of money one used for betting on the game, but on the other hand still, this thread is not about the loses, but winning, lets look at the winning side of gambling, and forget about the loses for now.
