My friend has a wallet with uni claim, but he forgot the PK wallet, and I was trading on uniswap but it was not available to claim it, I was confused.
Did anyone experienced having another wallet used in uniswap but you lose the private key/keystore file to access the wallet and the wallet is eligible to claim 400 uni token?. As far as I know, the price of each uni token is around $3 to $5.
it seems like a lot because at the time uni token airdrop became a hot topic, in many social media there were some unisawp user who complained about losing their wallet keystore, pharse, privatekey who had traded before September 1 and it made a little pity because 400 uni is a very large estimate and that's possible can be a lesson for them to be more careful before creating a cryptocurrency wallet.

If you mean losing Private Key/Keystore file from your device, i think this can recovery, but need more device and take more time. Because its hard to recovery 1 files in device so it will recovery all files that already you delete before.

It's possible, no one knew that using UNISWAP exchange can bring free money and this is a rare case in crypto space, but it's always wise to keep the private keys of your old wallets because you can need access to the old wallet someday Have you ever used a old wallet for bounty campaign and you get rid of the wallet for another because the project you promoted using the old wallet don't pay? This happened to me, guess what? The project later paid after few years, I joined the bounty through bountyhive in 2018.
I have never experience that kind of situation before and the two Ethereum addresses that I used to log in with the UNISWAP DEX are still accessible but unfortunately, it was not qualified to claim the 400 UNI token Airdrop for what reason I don't know. thats why I live it hanging so that I can move on to another chapter It's true that the $1200+ worth of UNI airdrop is hard to let go but let's accept the fact that we can't do anything about it.
That's a waste and from what I have heard, as long as you get to use Uniswap before the said ending date, you will become eligible. Why is it that you didn't became eligible for that airdrop. If you have two Ethereum addresses, that's around $800. Did you use Uniswap after the set date or before that?
I was thinking if It is possible to recover the file from an android device that I have (old one that I used to store my wallet details since I no longer use it but I accidentally deleted the file when I made a back up and then lost the usb. I am trying to use a recovery app but it needs the phone to be rootes but I haven't been able to root the phone successfully. You guys tried it?. I asked in here since it's about uni token eligible wallet address.
Try to root it. If there is away to recover the file just do it so you can login again using that wallet so you can claim your free UNI tokens. Do you have any other access to the wallet that you stored like private key?
You will regret that if you don't get it especially now that there are many people who need money and that amount would be a big help.
Losing the access on your wallet means losing the chance to get the free UNI and convert it into fiat money or reinvest it, you already lose the important details for every wallet, its hard to recover it. UNI airdrop make a big hype in the market, but if you didn’t get one its ok just make sure next time that you have a protected computer where you can save your important files, especially the crypto wallet.

Have you? people should never misplaced their private keys even if that wallet has no coins on it, you never know if a campaign you participated for a long time or an airdrop you forgot suddenly send their token to that wallet, when it comes to wallet and private keys be organize never misplaced it.

I had one similar wallet which has a UNI claim in it but, I lost its access details later I browse through my old laptop, and I saw that address was still linked/added in metamask so I was successfully able to claim my UNI token.
This is a different case since you are able to recover the details of your wallet and to OP, I hope you recover it too so you can use that UNI airdrop for your personal needs and plans. There's a lot of incidents that we loss are private keys, this is why I created many files and back up on every wallet that I have, so when the airdrop like this come I have the confident that I still have my access on my wallets. You can still claim the UNI as long as you input your ETH address but since you don't have any access on that anymore, that UNI token will stay on your wallet forever so its useless. Learn from this mistakes so you wont miss any opportunity to make profit, and protect your wallet on its highest security, create more back up is possible.

Have you lost yours? I haven't seen anyone that have said it on the forum and even in some other online groups. But if this your situation, I'm sorry that you'll never be able to get your Uni tokens. It's free and a huge chunk of money although the price drops, nothing beats the happiness of receiving money. But anyway, is this you op that have lost your private keys with the wallet that's eligible for the uni airdrop?

What do you mean lost the private keys?
Was it a temporary account used for the purpose of just uniswap trading. Even in that case hopefully the login details are already present in the computer that you used for trading.

I didn't get the point what you are asking about. but If you lose your key then you lose your assets. that's the main point.
Since UNISWAP is decentralized exchange then your wallet is yours. UNISWAP didn't have any control about your wallet except you grant some permission to them (i.g access to read your balance) and they won't ask your key.
So, if you want to claim your UNI the only way is you need to found your key, nothing else.

Let us know if your phone has been rooted, then do a file restoration through your smartphone. If it is successful, then explain what extensions have been restored. The chance of success is tiny but not impossible. I'm sure the people in this forum will help you. 
Did you wanna say have we experienced lose our access to claim our UNI token? I think that the majority of people have already stored their privkey or keystore file correctly and then they will not lose it.
Only a few people or even less who have already experienced to lose their credentials to access their wallet.
