Pools use to have specific port for miningrentals/nicehash
They use high diff.

We have specific port always for that in our pool.

My RiG was finding invalid shares.... Rig owner said "The problem with the rig seems to be with the pool you have selected. When your pool drops the difficulty to .1 the miner is still working but is finding invalid shares. The miner needs a difficulty of about 128 to function properly. A little higher and a little lower will work too, but really high and low difficulties will slow down the miner."

Seems logical although; I'm not sure what pool you were using xD have yet to see that difficulty; otherwise i'd mine on my Keurig.

I'm using this,

cpuminer-multi v1.1 windows binaries, i just change cpuminer.conf to my configurations and works. I'm using windows 7 32bits.

I tried the program indicated at the beginning of the topic and it did not work for me.

If this can help, https://github.com/tpruvot/cpuminer-multi/releases

To me, it seems like renting a rig may be a bad decision since it costs quite a bit to rent a miner for a coin that might not be worth much (no telling what the value of the coin will be). Is my thinking way off on this? This is not a shot at the developer of the coin, just me thinking out loud.

Hey man you set the value on what you want the coin to be; if you want the coin to be worth 80k satoshi one day; that can be achieved simply by Unifying and working together to make this a great coin Smiley

Sounds good!

I am now using MiningrigRentals ....
My Suggested Difficulty is 128 .... Share difficulty is 360 ... Is this a bad sign ?

May i ask you how much it cost you per hour and how much UNF/day says you could be mining? or give me some rate if you don't see how much UNF you could get per day

8000 Satoshi per MHS / Day

But I am using only 350 khs ... Made me atleast 25 unf in last 4 hours

When it says Block halving: 3000 blocks ... What does that mean ?
Also is there a Dev Team behind this coin ??
Block reward halves at 3000 blocks;
3000 every block for 3000 blocks
1500 every block until 6000 blocks
etc.

i have not.
just checked it out.

got the same error: Stratum authentication failed

here is my config
cpuminer-gw64-corei7 -a timetravel -o stratum+tcp://unify.acc-pool.pw:4211 -u test -p test

Does this mean that it goes trought but the user and password is wrong?

it should not be wrong but i just cant figure it out

ccminer is not cpuminer man;
also -a timetravel is the wrong algorithm; Unify uses -a scrypt or --scrypt

alright. thanks for the info. il do some more research on it to get this thing working

hey guys. so i was thinking about learning how to mine.
figure out i could start with this coin.

Not going to rent any miners. as i see you gusy are recommending here. Just need to learn how to do it first.

So i tried the easy solution from onnz423 here. But it does not work.

He writes: then edit the bat file and replace "address" with your unify address
so i did. it looks like this now.

minerd.exe -a scrypt -o stratum+tcp://212.24.104.24:3008 -O address:UfbgcwPDAuWeG6txcb7fZLcZZQBnF4VrF2

and the error i get is. Stratum authentication failed

i also tried to logg into a mining pool and made a worker.
My config looks like this:
minerd --url=stratum+tcp://unify.acc-pool.pw:4211 --userpass=test:test

and i also get the Stratum authentication failed.

Anyone have time to help me out. il send you some unf. if i ever get it work Smiley

Hello, for now i'll only be a spectator for this, and I hope in the future i could join the campaign Cheesy
