First account stolen, in traditional BCT fashion!

Price crashing, premine gone, Dev won't answer questions, weird cult like bag holders who take everything as gospel. This is a sure sign to GTFO!

Dumped. This is all too dodgy. Sure it may go up later, but that's too much of a risk.

MAJOR issues with the core code

I've been doing lots of transfers...
It's even worse than that implied 6 minute confirm time...
The wallet has been unusable with VERY ERRATIC confirmation times for about 24 hours...
Last night a 1st confirmation took over 60 minutes.

Wow, forum finally let me register without a "you just registered 45 seconds ago!" message.

So, I have a question.

Is it possible to control the majority of a POS coin's network?

For example, if you had a network of say 20 or 30 computers running a custom version of your wallet, and all other clients connected first to your network (using the connect command in the qt wallet), would whoever owned that first machine in effect have more or less complete control over the network? Could blocks mined by other users be rejected, or additional blocks mined and hash rate misreported?

I'm not a programmer, nor am I much more than passingly familiar with crypto communication protocols and network communication between nodes, so the above question might have zero relevance. But I've been seriously bugged by that mystery hashrate that appeared from nowhere, and went back to nowhere and isn't mining anything else. How is hashrate calculated? Is there any way to check raw block data against the difficulty as reported? Is it possible to "pause" all POS block creation if you controlled 51% or more of the network (or at least controlled the first node everyone connected to, and therefore the information source for all other nodes and blockchain info)?

Is a 51% attack (or in my scenario maybe it's a 100% attack) even possible on a POS coin? Could a 51% attack be pulled off with less than 51% of the net hash rate if you could somehow control other aspects of the network?

Someone more knowledgeable than me please clue me in.

Thanks!

Update - I just ran a TX through the mixer

http://cryptexplorer.com/address/XDNHMSD2Feex8bDHz9yiLtadHz4LGABQWE

the only thing I'm looking for now is proof of direct link from the source wallet address to the destination wallet on block chain

Since this is single path at this time (not multi-path) that is the only concern with this release, is there a DIRECT LINK..

thanks,

ATCSECURE

Didn't we already prove that?  Nobody was able to provide a direct link last time either.

I was told that there was a lot confusion around this, so I did another test with a minor update to the code. but as REV2 is a priority w/ multi-path, I can't spend time on an issue that isn't an issue..

for records.

Where is client ? What ...

It's sad that the DRK coin trolls don't know what they are even doing. We should want to help DRK too. But because these idiots, who have no real association with DRK anyway, keep trolling, there is every chance that if DRK meets some problem, some people will start attacking DRK coin.

Let's support each other. And of course provide helpful criticism as Chaeplin is doing. He is an example for us.

The DEV may have got someone to do some of the grunt work making the coin. That itself doesn't make the coin "shit"

No of course not. 12 minute block times and having no anonymity does. As well as the dev dumping the premine right now.

That's not surprising or concerning at this point.

Um...that is no proof.

Edit: Forgot to mention, Dev doesn't know how to use Github.
Even if that were true, it's not a concern. It depends what you are looking for. I'm interested as the developer has experience in the real world with business, and I'm interested in his coin because of that. He has extensive experience in general too, so if he doesn't know absolutely everything that's to be expected and not a concern.

Seriously I am much happier with that than with with some fool who spends all his time trolling on the internet.

Yeah, why would a CEO make his own office desk and chair from scratch rofl.

That has to be the most idiotic analogy I have ever heard in my life.

Then you start comparing coin codes to ferraris in xc thread? My analogy is actually slightly more relevant given the context.

even if loljosh make XC, it don't mean he can make it anonymous like everyone(XC/Dark/Bitcoin/Cinni/Black/Vertcoin) is trying to achieve right now. you start the dumb FUD shzit over and over again and again with the same old crap. this is getting old and you getting ridiculously dumb. even atc admitting the basic of XC is by loljosh that still don't mean loljosh making the anonymous transaction code. from what I know atc pay many different developers to do some small part to save his time. You need to have many years(20+) of knowledge/security/network/admin and skills like atc to put this together to have true anon coin. not some little get rich quick kids from DRK. by the way when i read this one DRK developer fake story it make me laugh hard. if he got to know/involved with Bitcoin seen 2010 chance he wouldn't started his get rich quick scam with CoinJoin/dark wallet idea. chance he would probably sit with a pill of Bitcoins some where in white sandy beach.  The sale point of XC/DRK/Black/CoinJoin/Cinni and countless coins is anonymous transaction which none have achieve
