There are many reasons why someone might not like bitcoin, although lack of knowledge is probably the biggest reason. There are also some people who oppose bitcoin even though they have complete knowledge about it. Perhaps the reason is because they are jealous because they learned about bitcoin too late and think it is too late to invest, or maybe they can't accept the fact that many people invested in bitcoin and were able to improve the economy so quickly that overtook them...That's why we often see some people giving very silly reasons to hate bitcoin. They like it but they find every way to fight it and prevent people from investing in it.

The first step of getting into Bitcoin, is to criticize it. Any change people will criticise. They need to come to their own conclusions, give them time.

Humans are not lacking in the ability to be unreasonable, and since we know this, we have to be careful the people we listen to, because some of them look reasonable but are not really reasonable.

She has channeled her anger at the tool instead of the person behind using the tool. Just as people blame guns for killing people when it is actually people who kill people not guns that kill people. Some of these persons with these unreasonable reasons why they do not like bitcoins will later get to regret it because they will discover the foolishness in the choices that they have made.

In essence, those who don't like bitcoin because they don't have the knowledge actually think that all crypto coins are the same, when in reality bitcoin and altcoins are something different, both in terms of systems and fundamentals. Those who don't like bitcoin because they are fooled by altcoins into thinking they are all the same.

This is also what happens in my area, many people say Bitcoin is a scam, because they have experienced losses in altcoins even though these two investments are very different. It's just that they lack literacy about bitcoin which makes them unable to see the advantages of bitcoin. So in essence it's all because they don't have knowledge, if they had knowledge about bitcoin they would realize that bitcoin is a future asset that could even potentially be better than fiat. However, there are also some people who don't like Bitcoin, not because they have experienced losses, but because they don't believe in virtual currency, they prefer to invest in investments that can be seen physically.

For all I know, the reason why some people don't like Bitcoin doesn't justify anything to prove that it is a scam or bad. It's not everybody that must like Bitcoin, and the fact that Bitcoin is a volatile asset makes it look risky for some people, and no one should force such people to invest in Bitcoin. Some people prefer assets with low risk and volatility, and because Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are highly volatile, it makes it impossible for some people to even like them.

People will always see a fault in something when the are bias and thats what people do to win an argument. Sometimes, fiat might be bad to some extent but been bias to favour what we want is what makes people see it as bad thing completely from the economy but deep down, fiat will alwsys be easy for many millions of people than Bitcoin but that doesn't make it superior than Bitcoin, I'm just making instances of been bias.

In every 100 people you see hate Bitcoin passionately, just know that they love Bitcoin deeply but because they weren't opportune to get it early like other people did in their own time, they will rather want to see it dead than for it to succeed. Some people have friends and know people ttat has made it through Bitcoin but because they miss all this opportunities, they will rather pick 1 bad thing about it and ignore other 99 good things you can find in Bitcoin.

I think this type of topic has been on this forum before, and many replies have been made about it. It says that anywhere, any time, or anyone you see talking badly about bitcoin, you should not blame them because they lack the proper knowledge of it; they don’t really know the advantages of it, and that is why they talk about it. That way, many people think bitcoin is a scam due to how it works, and they can’t take advantage of the fact that fiat currency is still active because they are not used to it.

So you can’t say that their reason is useless; just know that it is a lack of understanding of the project and nothing more than that. You were also in their shoes before, or just make an example with yourself whenever you see people talking bad about bitcoin. Make an example with yourself that if you say you don’t know anything about what your reaction to it or what you will be saying about it will be the same thing I believe. 

Let the haters stay with their hate – embrace those who truly want to learn. You are not obliged to force everyone to believe in bitcoin and use it - so let them choose what they think is better. I don't think it's just people in your circle who hate bitcoin - but some big investor and some public figures don't like it either. Regardless of whatever reason they don't like bitcoin - I don't think it will have any impact on bitcoin which has continued to grow and develop over time.

Bitcoin has been an excellent fiat alternative so far for most of its users - while others choose bitcoin as a store of value and investment asset. I'm not worried about what other people think about bitcoin, especially those who don't like it - that's up to them.

It is very relevant and Bitcoin can be said to be a Game Changer for the current Financial System. I think a real example can be seen in Turkey, how some of them are aware and feel the benefits when they invest in Bitcoin and at least it can provide a breath of fresh air and provide a hedge against inflation. Yes. the condition of their currency plummeted drastically until it almost reached 65%.

It's not surprising that currently there are still many people who don't like Bitcoin. Because of course the thoughts of every person on this earth are different. However, if the problem is that there are people who don't like bitcoin just because there are negative elements associated with bitcoin, in my opinion, people like that really need to be given a correct understanding. Because I agree with the assumptions you convey to that person. That it is not only bitcoin that can be used as a tool to commit fraud, but money or fiat is also currently widely used as a tool to commit fraud. Because in essence it is not bitcoin or fiat that is the problem, but the nature of the users that is questionable.

Because if you think deeper, everything in this world could be used to commit crimes such as fraud. So basically the important points that must be taken to avoid fraudsters or bad people, especially in the world of bitcoin investment. First learn the ins and outs of bitcoin itself. So don't accuse Bitcoin of being a fraudulent asset just because other people or yourself were cheated by bad people using Bitcoin. But instead of thinking like that, it's better to study Bitcoin as a whole. Because as far as I know, most of the people who are exposed to fraud in the bitcoin realm are beginners whose knowledge is still very minimal.

So the conclusion is that many people are deceived by Bitcoin, it's not actually Bitcoin's fault, but essentially their own fault. Because they dare to enter the realm of bitcoin, without studying it first.

They are accustomed to the habit of learning something not to finish. In understanding something must be intact, not half measures because it can be misleading.
Or maybe those who hate Bitcoin because it is based on their personal interests as played by bad market participants who are characterized by creating negative issues that make people panic to sell.
In the past, based on the reading that I had found that the state officials made an illegal bitcoin statement that opened up opportunities for criminals to do money laundering, Bitcoin was a scam. Over time, the statement changed to positive.

I think we can group together the different reasons for Bitcoin hatred and dislike into few categories. One would, of course, be ignorance. Many think that Bitcoin is a kind of scam. Many think that it is a Ponzi. The main reason for this suspicion is ignorance, lack of awareness.

Another category would be based on the fact that Bitcoin isn't really accepted as money in many places, therefore, unnecessary. Bitcoin may be good, but there's not much reason to have it. I guess my dad's indifference toward Bitcoin is based on this.

Others are not liking Bitcoin probably because it simply isn't their cup of tea. They're satisfied with what they're currently using. Bitcoin is superfluous in their lives. Or perhaps they're benefitting from the monetary and financial status quo in one way or another.

Condemning something that leads to negative things without knowing the ins and outs is a big mistake for someone to make, fraud can happen to anyone through any media if it is not based on knowledge. It should be emphasized that Bitcoin is not a fraud and is not like a Ponzi scheme, early adopters and late adopters will both benefit from the increase in value from the initial price when they bought Bitcoin.
Any individual holding Bitcoin will benefit from the increasing price at which it is traded and will gain other benefits from its use as it begins to be widely adopted. Price fluctuations always play an important role in gaining profits from Bitcoin, I think the person needs to study Bitcoin more deeply about how Bitcoin works and its uses before deciding Bitcoin as a scam or other negative things that can harm people who adopt it.

I would say ignorance is the main reason for people to hate bitcoin, those who call bitcoin a ponzi, a bubble, a scam... They have no idea about how bitcoin works and it's nature. It's easy to hate something that you don't understand, and i feel linux has the same problem, people hate it because doesn't understand it.

And there are other kinds of people who hate bitcoin, and those are the ones who see it, then ignore it, and then realize they miss the chance to become a millionaire with it. That is a valid reason to hate it too.

There are people who hate Bitcoin and don't even know why they are hating it. These are the people who don't have their own opinion, so they just repeat what they were told by other people who they think it's influential. It can be the media, a determined celebrity, the politician they are fan or a friend.

However, as Bitcoin gets stronger along the years and investors see huge gain over their investments, these hateful people are disappearing from the public discussions about Bitcoin. They are probably regretful for being Bitcoin haters, instead of adopters. The hate, misinformation and lack of interest for Bitcoin caused them lost an opportunity which could have changed their lives.

That is why everyone should be independent to take their own conclusions regard the matters they face in life without being sockpuppets of someone else.

The truth is no matter how good Bitcoin is, everyone cannot like Bitcoin. There will always be those people that will go against it and some will do it just to appear different and attract attention. The story of someone hating Bitcoin because of he was scammed through Bitcoin is a popular one. I have been scammed through Bitcoin and it was not a good experience. It takes a lot of courage to overcome the trauma and still be part of Bitcoin because I knew Bitcoin would play key role in the future. Not everyone have this level of confidence and foresight, so we have to appreciate the fact that everyone cannot be part of Bitcoin. I don't struggle to convince people about Bitcoin now, mine is just to give you overview of what Bitcoin is and the need to consider it as a good alternative asset for investment. I don't go about pressuring my friends and loved ones about investing in it and anyone who choses to is definitely doing that out of personal conviction.

There are many different reasons to which people actually hate Bitcoin but if am not mistaking then am certain that most of the reasons are actually not genuine because over here most of the times they associated other reason that has no linkage whatsoever related to Bitcoin. Most of the argument and reason over here is that Bitcoin is easily used to embezzle funds as it can be tracked of which they can also do the same with fiat.

Sooner or later, they would really be able to realize all of those things on the moment that they would really be able to experience for themselves on unfortunate conditions on which we know that
when it comes to this aspect on where dealing up with crypto space would really be that vast. They'll soon realize that Bitcoin and with those shitty scam coins around and other frauds wont really be
something that they couldnt be able to generalize. People do really love on generalizing everything on the moment that they will really be able to experience unfortunate situations on where this is the moment
or time that they will really be making some indepth research on which this shouldnt have done this earlier but well there's nothing we can do about it if people would be having this kind of behavior.

Whether we do like it or not, the main reason on why people do really get interested into dealing up with Bitcoin is just they are really that looking for easy profits
on just simply holding it but due to lack of knowledge then this is the main reason why on people be lost of track and ending up with those scams and frauds.

Everyone has their own life, we should respect their choices instead of calling them conservative. Bitcoin has potential but it is not the only asset in the world and there are many other alternatives and they have suitable options. Just like we only like bitcoin but not gold and we will also be conservative in the eyes of gold investors. Therefore we should respect each other's choices instead of criticizing each other.


Actually, they call it a scam or call it useless... it's all just their excuse because once they don't like it, they always have their reasons. We don't need to care what they think about bitcoin, instead let's focus on our choice to achieve the best results. Our results are probably the best evidence for them to stop talking bad about bitcoin.

When people talk about online scams, they think about Bitcoin first Online scammers have been using Bitcoin to do their evil deeds but before Bitcoin came into existence, these online scammers have been existing, and they have been using other means to do their scams. If the victims learn about Bitcoin, I don't think they will be vulnerable to online scammers. The truth is what you don't know is bigger than you, and that is why those who are bitcoins can be scammed through other online means that they do not have any good idea about.

Everyone hating the Bitcoin technology is wrong because it is not a bad technology but some people using it have chosen to use it for doing bad thigns around the world.
