Yeah, there is relatively little UNO that is actively traded.  Maybe 20%.

8 of the top 20 largest addresses have not moved in more than 500 days.

And there is of course some % of Uno that has simply been lost over the years. While the counter shows 197,000 Uno exist today out of the 250K that will ever exist in 300 years, the truth is that UNO is a lot more scarce than that.

THIS RIGHT HERE MAKES ME HAPPY. Cheesy

EDIT: Also this brings up an interesting point, For people who may have alot of coin or are close to death it might be a good idea to have someone you trust know how to recover your funds if death occurs, I can only assume a couple of those large wallets could be from deaths.

Honestly all we need to do is find a maximum of 100 people willing to invest 1k$+ into unobtanium and sit on it for a few years, in a world with 7 billion people if we all put in a bit of effort recruiting friends and colleagues and such this should not be that hard at all! I understand that many of you buy then sell when you see a small profit but if we want to create a shock, news and a long lasting effect then this is the wrong approach, we need to make the price skyrocket which involves having more longterm investors than short. (of-course short-term traders are still necessary for market liquidity)

Returning coins to the communities would be nice, but I think the details will be hard for the court to work out.
More likely they will simply auction off and throw any proceeds into the class action pot.

Some coins with no value will probably just be left for dead.

Do you guys see any way that we could make a group offer? I'm not sure how that would look, exactly.
It would be solid for UNO long term if we could buy below market, recoup the investment at market, and put proceeds into a foundation for promotion.

Here is a very simple example in USD: if we buy at 1, sell at 2, it would leave us with $15K for promotion.
There are a lot of problems with the example (market depth for one), but it would be nice if some benefit could come back to the UNO community for its work in recovering the value.

Worst case, someone buys it and dumps it on the market for months and drives the price very low.

We will be recommending that the attorneys ask the court to return the coins to the various communities whereby they can be redistributed, burned, or dealt with in some fair consensus manner.

Great info worth its weight in GLD Wink
I'd stand with this recommendation. others?

If that happens some leaders in this community need to arrange a fair crowdsale with proceeds going to development &/or advertising.

Unless somebody can actually prove that some of the UNO is theirs. The people who messaged F.K. about having UNO at Cryptsy are probably telling the truth but without solid blockchain evidence it's not enough. They'd have to suffer consequences for ignoring 8 months of constant community warnings and glaring danger signs. If they can provide evidence though, the remainder could still be released in a crowdsale.

All of that is assuming that the government doesn't try to sell it themselves, which we've been assuming would happen if they couldn't recover server data.

FYI stuff

SHA-256 (472 TH/s)
$943,847 << cost of 51% attack
https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/unobtanium

so in theory UNO ought be worth $940k, right now it is $400k cap running a network secured to about $1M ... shweeeet!

compare to Zetacoin
SHA-256 (8.14 TH/s)
$16,259  << cost of 51% attack
LOLz ... ZET has more market cap than UNO but that shall soon change  Wink  but really this is yet another bullet point that demonstrates the technical superiority of UNO ... ZET is a low inflation product (unfair-ish launch, lacks community) ... UNO provably better engineered to scale up hash and market cap  ... shweeeet!

The latest version of the standard windows UNO wallet comes up clean in an ESET-NOD scan if that means anything.

Edit: Well, the one I have, not necessarily the one that's posted on the website now.

has anyone noticed there's buy orders for half a ton at .0036-37 on C-Cex?
Are you trolling for a Uno dump?  lol

Just a quick question... I think it is most likely false positives but the windows client compiled by blazr has 4 detections for virus's on that virus scan on the unobtanium website. Just wondering if any of you are able to verify it as false positives?

10 months ago, the Virustotal result was clean.

All I can say is that I've been running it almost a year and nobody has stolen my Uno yet. I'm 90% sure those are false positives, but I can never be 100% certain.

A great alternative is Cryptapus' UNO Electrum wallet (i'd personally give this one a 99.9% trust rating), https://cryptap.us/uno/electrum/
Or use JS Wallet for UNO, https://cryptap.us/uno/jswallet/

Eh, I'll take my chances we have passwords on the wallets for a reason. Cheesy prolly just a false positive.

ALSO! Mr.Knife make some more clown videos or something on youtube lool. just this time name it something random af and get alot of views ahahaha.

And to the people saying newcomers have been slow recently it is because WE DO NOT ADVERTISE AT FUCKING ALL. lol

I spoke with the Cryptsy receiver attorney yesterday for about an hour and also talked with the expert in charge of the UNO, GLD, and various other wallets.

Its looks like Big Vern deleted the exchange databases and wiped the disks during his last day in power. So far, the forensic experts have been unable to recover the databases containing user account data. So the pickle at this point is in determining which coins belong to which users.

An official receivership website will be established this summer where news and case updates will be published. We will be recommending that the attorneys ask the court to return the coins to the various communities whereby they can be redistributed, burned, or dealt with in some fair consensus manner.

Great info, thanks for keeping us updated.
In my last call, I was also told the Cryptsy databases were wiped, but they hoped to discover a backup. Apparently they were unable. Shame.
Most likely scenario, imo, is an auction of the various altcoins that were recoverable.
Let us know if you hear anything else.

1:1 UNO:LTC by UNO's third birthday is reasonable IMO. I think that would still value us at well below 1% of the LTC market cap.

I agree that the alt markets are important, & B.N. has been talking about it for years it seems.  Wink I'd add at least a few hundred dollars of liquidity to those markets with a good bot. Last I checked after F.K. mentioned it here, Cryptopia wasn't listed on the C.A.T. website, maybe that has changed though.

That's what she said.

Happy Friday, UNOverse ~ !
Hope all is well in your UNOverse ~ !

In the CAT BCT thread, they said they added Cryptopia.

Cryptopia will be out with the next C.A.T release

I am just added the last few things the developer needs to our API
