This is odd. I've only just now noticed we can't generate new deposit addresses on Cryptopia? I've been looking through everything for 30 min and there is no way to gen a new address once you have one...

I can't say this for sure, but isn't that the case on most exchanges? They all certainly should offer address changes though.

Nah, you can *usually* generate a new address when you want. I won't say all allow it, but for example, Cryptsy and Mintpal etc have. I haven't used bigger exchanges in over a year so someone else can verify that part.

@FallingKnife: Well that went well then, so far. Now the wait on what will happen with it.

Once again, UNO is the only coin I know of, that made it all out of Cryptsy/Vern control.

Today I received a telephone confirmation from the administrators of the Cryptsy assets that they have recovered the UNO wallet.  The big wallet moved today. It was transferred to their control from Bittrex.

I would have told you ten hours ago;  they called me earlier in the day, but I wasn't around and so they just left a message.  And I'm telling you now. Smiley

This is good news, as UNO is now permanently beyond Paul Vernon's reach.

Good to see some chatter here. You guys have been too quiet lately.

Feels like UNO is getting ready to make a move.

This is a known issue.  This wallet is based on Bitcoin Wallet and the Bitcoin Wallet developers removed the "Disconnect" feature because it never worked properly all the time.

What the wallet will do is keep track of how often it is used.  If it is not used often, then it will less often start itself and sync the blockchain.

There are no plans to fix it as there is no known solution to the issue.  For the Dash Wallet, I removed disconnect, then received many complaints.  So I added it back in.  Its possible that other developers who do these apps know what to do.  I will check with the Dogecoin developer.

Ok, that's good to know.  I use this UNO Android wallet on 2 devices. I enjoy it.

Its on Google Play, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hashengineering.unobtanium.wallet&hl=en%3Futm_source%3Dna_Med

Another option for storing Unobtanium on Android is the UberPay multicoin wallet.

Waiting to buy more UNO with a portion of Litecoin profits.  Been long LTC since 0.007956 at Bitfinex.  Already used a portion of NIRO profits to buy more of the blue stuff.  Shocked

The android app has been updated.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hashengineering.unobtanium.wallet
https://github.com/HashEngineering/unobtanium-wallet/releases/tag/v4.14

Fixes include:
Changed to Cryptopia as the default exchange to get the current price in BTC.  Bittrix is the backup exchange.
Bloom Filters On
Fixing some bugs, including one that prevented the app from receiving notifications on sent and received transactions.
Updated Checkpoints - allows new users to more quickly sync.  Also if doing a blockchain reset.

My UNO address (donations): ugTV93Tt3gvH1imQppB5kyHqGRC7DeQhNh

Finally fixed my phone and i see that UNO wallet (android) reconnects automatically even after i disconnect manually multiple times.

is it a known issue or possibly hardware?

I have not noticed that problem.  Hash Engineering has a support thread here, I think... https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/hashengineering-android-wallet-creation-service-336215

Pink sheets could be a good idea. Exchange users should be able to know immediately whether a coin is a tiny collapsing group or a stable 4-year-old community without reading through bitcointalk threads, block explorers, rating websites etc. In a way, that may be what Cryptopia is doing with their new rating system (there are now three 5-star coins; BTC, UNO, DGC.) They would just need to do a faint highlight of all <2 star coins on their main exchange page, since now you cannot see the rating without going to the ratings page or the specific coin page. Faint pink highlight, boom, pink sheets! As long as the ratings are tended to fairly regularly that may give traders a fast impression of what they may be getting into by trading that coin. Maybe UNO would even get a highlight for being on the gold sheets or black sheets or whatever.

This is a superb idea.

Such a good idea infact that I have started coding this now.

Hopefully will be ready for tomorrows site update Smiley

i might be too dumb to follow;

if i had a wish it be ... colored DOTs (small ones/uses less space than stars) on the daily volume menu

if i had 2 wishes ... the 2nd wish would be a link to the info page on the specific coin market page ... example .. if you go to the WBB/UNO market there would be a link to the WBB info page
