It was a sloppy post, sorry. I feel like what happened with cryptsy isn't all doom and gloom. Yes they are tied up right now, but what happened with all the tied up coins from the silk road? Didn't they go to auction eventually? I guess this case is a little different as this was theft vs an ill gotten gains sort of situation. It doesn't matter so much now as the future of those coins is fairly uncertain. I hope they do try to return them to the rightful owners although proving ownership seems like a fairly laborious task.

If they go to auction, then i would have wished they were just dumped onto the markets. If people have the opportunity to retrieve what is rightfully theirs, then that is the best course of action.

What if this was someone related to the theft, trying to prime market by making things happen. What if the court people lost control of the wallet again, is that possible?

Damn man that wallet list is crazy. Although some of those really large wallets have been dormant for over a year  Shocked

It's definately a situation like in the WW1 trenches ...  Cheesy

Whales make splashes, such is life ... we'll make the best of it.

also have this picture of me trading like batman  Wink :

there is also still the remote possibility this could be a shakeout before some bigger move, but i honestly doubt it. We'll possibly have to wait him out. He can trade with himself in the meantime ...

Hurry up Vern, we're sick of you! Nobody is buying your sellwalls. We have all the time in the world; other than you do. It'll just be waiting-game for you. YOU can't sell for over 2$. Hiding your walls won't help you, moving your tons on the chain to another account won't help you. Nothing will help you. May aswell just dump the lot. We're waiting for  the 4tons to dump into the market. Take all your time.

today was a lucky day  Cool

Longterm-style. BN right at the money.

I get it.  Under normal conditions I agree.

I am pessimistic that most if any of you will follow me on this.  I don't need you to succeed.

However, Mr Wallet #2 has gifted us with a "special situation".

We can trap a rat in a transparent bottle if my suggestion is adopted individually, quasi universally.

I can trade around the Kardashians.

But Kardasians on the bid set a safety net for potato head.

Kardashians on the ask create resistance to the next base levels.

I have chosen not to participate in either.  This is my strategy:  hanging in the Batcave until I pop out of nowhere and garrot you.

All my kilos are now off the board and will be repatriated to my McdVnd...wallet for all to see when I am off the phone and back on the Batputer.

I have no open orders.

I am fucking Batman.

There are still 7000kg on the ask.  4300 are "our friend".  2700 are Kardashians.

Put your clothes on you greedy whores!

Squeeze the short.

Stop showing your cards.  Get off the bids over .001  Get off the ask altogether.  Let's watch him squirm.

I feel like i am in the minority here seeing the theft as an opportunity for redistribution.
The #1 wallet is locked up again. That one is known to have been moved from the Cryptsy court conservators.

But I have seen no evidence the #2 Bittrex Uno wallet was acquired illegally, have you?.  It was quite an impressive pump.  I'm surprised this guy wants out so quickly after working so hard to acquire 6 tons of UNO.  I guess he has some other ideas for his bitcoin.

There's a lot of money on Bittrex. Sometimes it flows into Uno.

We'll get through this dumping and UNO will set off on a nice steady climb again, back up to the 01's and beyond. Thats the path we were on until the big pump and then the Paul Vernon/Cryptsy attempt to steal UNO. Those events deviated Uno temporarily from it's turtle crawl up the mountain.

edit: (just read Gekko's post. That!)

Well you can't blame UNO for being boring. At least, not for very long.

There's usually something interesting to talk about in Unoland.

True that. Still one of the best altcoins around.

Me thinks you nodded Smokes.

The number #2 wallet as far as we know isn't stolen.  We watched him buy it on that spike.

The stolen kilo's are locked and under the control of Trex by court order.

Quit waiting for sweet speakers to fall off the back of a truck.  That is crime.

I am going to pull down all my asks (about 700) and bring them home tomorrow.

I think #2 wallet is most of the rest of the ask.  I want to see him naked.

If the rest do the same, we can watch him move from the ask to dumping on bids in real time.

He is:

A.  Smarter than us and planning something somehow I can't figure out.  Which is why I am retreating.
B.  Dumb as a fucking rock, and something he was hoping for didn't happen.
C.  Desperate for actual cash or...
D.  Thinks he'll do better in the BTC run-up to halving.  In which case still dumb as a fucking rock because all that is already in the BTC price.

In short, I am pulling all my sells and staying off the bid.  Buying opportunistically.

Second Subject:

There is a bot trading Trex.  I fucked with it several times today to watch the reaction times.  It is a bot and a dumper.  Two separate things controlling the price now.

My average price is the lowest it has ever been and I have plenty of BTC in the clip.  Just not gonna show on the boards for awhile.

It ain't the trading.  It's the waiting.  Dry up the boards and let's let it fall.  Quit showing our hands.  Hit the low asks out of nowhere like fucking Batman.

You want cheap UNO?  We've got a sucker who will hand it out to us at .001 if you've all got the balls to clear the boards like me.

Once he's empty, the satochis will take care of themselves.

Trade like Batman now.  Strike from nowhere.  Don't be a fucking Kardashian, everywhere, all the time showing your greedy ass to the world.

Word.

I noticed the 2nd largest Bittrex wallet has dropped by 34 Un.

Earlier it held 6428 Un. Today it holds 6394 Un.   Maybe some was withdrawn to play dice.

Down to 4319.67.

It seems to be dumpening.

Now 4036. Still dumpening.  Or is it called dumbping. Smiley

No, I don't want to insult this guy. I'm sure he has good reasons. Probably he has an inside track on some ico somewhere and will be back next next bigger than ever.

The sooner this stuff gets dumped on us the better. Completely agree.

The great thing in this is how people who sold to his shootingstar-candle last month are actually having a real feast.

in time the general public will get that 'stabbing'/'spiking' the UNO spot is .. well ... just dumb
sure you can mutilate a market or 3 but ..
base pair coins seldom are able to quickly jump up or jump down
they trend in a particular channel

fatfinger sold uno low in order to run into BTC yeah might be able to ride to $500s
if you're a trend player LTC looks to be ready to go up and ETH money will provide the lift

---
"UNO 365-day inflation rate is 0.37% and dropping every day"  that stat needs to be on the website
BTC is 8.86% ... roughly x39 the inflation of UN ... still like the alias 'btc elite'
BTC will produce more coins between now and the halving than there are UNOs ... 276,325 before July 11 ... $128,529,811 in $cash needed to support the current price trend until July 11 ... is there $125M in new sucker money ready to buy the "It is halving!" hype ... it is entering ERA 3 ... whoop whoop ... UNO is ERA 8-9 ... i've lost count to be honest  Cheesy
(http://bitcoinblockhalf.com/)

i like the feature here .. http://www.thehalvening.com ... rightside midway down .. the btc created ticker ... you can see how fast btc is created ... under 1 minute the ticker ticks +1 ... UNO needs one of these to ... but the ticker will only spin fast in the 0.00000000xxxxxx range  Cool

Bittrex response:

-----

Hi,

Without tracking information there is no way to tell good from bad on this issue.

Thank you,

Ryan

-----

I hope they at least checked for signs that would indicate if the account was somehow compromised. I think they were just saying that there's no way to tell if it's related to Cryptsy. I guess this is small potatoes for Bittrex, they move a lot of fundage.

Well, embrace the uncertainty.
