Sorry to see you go, man.

Just bad luck with the whole freakin' Big Vern thing, then the jump in the price of Bitcoin. Nobody saw that coming.

But thanks for playing UNO.  Come back soon.

There might be another 4320 Un for sale in the 004-003 range. Stack your bitcoin if you want to catch it. I can't get there fast enough (freakin' Coinbase fk'ed up my my Authy again after I changed my phone. I'm at least 24 hours away from getting that sorted out, but will try to get there tomorrow if its still there).

I noticed the 2nd largest Bittrex wallet has dropped by 34 Un.

Earlier it held 6428 Un. Today it holds 6394 Un.   Maybe some was withdrawn to play dice.

Down to 4319.67.

It seems to be a dumpening.

buy silver!
Sigh. The same dude who bought it to 0.03 just sold to 0.003?

....Doesn't make sense to me.

Edit: Maybe the most plausible explanation is an account hack, I almost feel like I should inform Bittrex.

Edit2: Fun theory: The spike to 0.03 was Vern trying to drive the price up before dumping the Cryptsy coins. Then the market did not at all do what he hoped it to, the account was frozen, & he got desperate for money & dumped account #2.

I'd hope a hack would be overly difficult due to 2-factor authentication. I'd hope someone with $15,000 of UNO on Bittrex would know to use 2FA.

Edit3: Okay I sent an e-mail to Bittrex just to be safe. Could be nothing but it seems quite odd.

your right, it doesnt make sense.  Good call on the email.

some 1800+ coins were dumped, maybe more

Good eye F.K. Thanks for adding that value to the record, it'll be interesting to see when they decide to sell or move coins.

Our 365-day inflation rate is 0.37% and dropping every day.

UNO price is approaching very tasty levels again.

I've been longing BTC and shorting ETH so i'll bulk up soon.

And now after the little dump today on Bittrex, it's down to 6292.

I missed this news from February.
Alex Green, the guy who stole Bitcoin and almost caused 1k UNO to be deleted from Mintpal, is also a rapist.

Yeah, I called Alex on it mid-rape once, and look at all the dumb fucks who chose not to smell what The Gekko was cookin':

Are you a Bitcoin miner? The Syscoin Team is now running one of the very few public merge-mined Bitcoin pools. The pool can be found at http://pool.syscoin.org

(sauce: http://syscoin.org/countdown-to-launch/)
Thanks for letting me know. I'm glad to see they added UNO to their merge mine pool. I will be sure to add them to our pool list.

Pays the same BoB, pays the same.

i have future visions of servers that can not have their hotwallets accessed by anyone
man nor machine

the only way to get at the funds is to send in funds
(you could still hack the API feeds used to determine rates of exchange)

so:
BTC in LTC out
UNO in XMR out

the MASTER key would be payment from hardcoded address
or just a signed message from that hardcoded address
which empties the wallet to another hardcoded address (or same one / matter of security level)

@coaex
nearing the time you ought have a coupon/asset that trades;
been standing in good standing for some time Wink
i like the idea of fixing X kg UNO = 1 gram AU coaex, could adjust the rate every 48hrs.
just sayin  Grin

That price fixing for 48hrs will only lead to a price manipulation by bulls and bears, nothing much.
Either merchant (in this case, us) or customer would benefit from it (plus, we have a greater chance of benefit) and it's some kind of gambling.
This may increase traded volume of UNO but we don't think it's a fair practice.

By the way, CoinPayments API updates every 30 minutes. So a fixed price of X kg UNO = 1 gram AU coaex is valid for that time period.
You can use your magical trading skills in that 30 minutes Smiley

Fair enough.  Appreciate the discussion.
But as an investor i'd personally feel more comfortable holding coaex back bullion 'coupons';
basically receipts of payment deliverable on demand (terms and conditions).

Use one of the 2.0 platforms. WAIT ... we still don't know the better 2.0 platform to use ... pick one that has cheap costs of trade ... just an idea for now ... BTS 'bitshares' seems to be the first mover in issuing a 'gold' token ... but backed by nothing.

Coaex has physical in stock Wink

@coaex - LBMA certified Gold & Silver
Coinpayments.net just doesn't have any UNO at the moment

But CoinPayments.net doesn't have to have any UNO? It's a payment processor company.
Well, I discovered they had an UNO/BTC instant conversion exchange not long back, but it seems not to be active now. I think it only works while Merchants have it and want to exchange it.

It was only a tool for merchants that would like to instantly convert their UNOs to Bitcoin, Dash and Ethereum and yes, it's been removed now.
And there is also another option for these 3 cryptos to be instantly converted to fiat currency.
In other words, a merchant can choose to convert their UNOs (that is received from their customers/sales) to USD using 2 payout modes. We haven't preferred that way as we love trading cryptocoins, in general.

Bitsquare sounds very worthwhile. Please us keep us posted on how that project is coming along.

Meanwhile over at Cryptopia today, 56 coins in the UNO markets had trades.  Not huge volume yet, but a good sign that traders (or even bots) are trading with UNO.  And thats not including Bitcoin, Litecoin, DotCoin, Feathercoin, and Doge markets.  61 markets in all.

BTW: did you guys see that there is now a UNO/YOVI market (Yobit Coin) on Cryptopia. YOVI is supposed to be "rise only," which works when its traded only on Yobit.  YOVI is a ponzi, and the air is being let out at Cryptopia.

Has anyone checked out Bitsquare? It is a decentralized exchange. It's only in alpha now and I have not downloaded it to actually try it yet, but this is something I plan to keep tabs on and in theory could benefit uno too.
