You can even do non-random brainwallets, like:

https://cryptap.us/uno/jswallet/#DoNotStealThisBrainwalletOrYouAreAThief

But that's certainly not recommended.

If you add a password during the creation of the wallet, only part of the hash is saved in the bookmark URL. You will need to supply the full password to unlock it (the javascript checks the full hash of the password to compare a partial match).

KryptoKit did a good job here, no RushWallet has been compromised that I am aware of. To my knowledge, it should be safe to store long term (just keep a copy of the paperwallet site or export the private key in case I disappear some day).

So how to create a non-random wallet?

Would anyone care what I'm thinking?

I just want to know if anybody cares what I'm thinking. Some people don't like me.

So, I'll put it to vote.

Does anybody care what Gekko is thinking?

Yes, no, fuck me whatever...

I will let you know if I share or not on 1 May.

Silence is no.

I think things.  Anybody care what about what I think?

Vote publicly and often.

@Cryptapus thank you! I don't know why I don't use it so much. It is awesome wallet. Specially for iOS. From now one i gonna keep uno in my IPhone for promo. It is also perfect for fast response if needed to load/unload exchange for trading.  Much better than to carry some laptop everywhere with me....   I rediscovering this one as a perfect option for iOS mobile zero gravity wallet  Smiley.

Lets talk mobile wallets for a minute.

...

WHAT ABOUT iOS?
As far as I know, there is no UNO wallet available for iOS (am I right?).

...

Actually, although not a full node type wallet, jswallet runs perfectly well on iOS devices.

https://cryptap.us/uno/jswallet

Cryptapus - the creation on the wallet and the private key is work ofline. When I turn Wi-Fi off my IPad generate the wallet and key offline. So I wondering if i copy this bookmark for the wallet +the key on paper. Is it going to be like paper wallet with better security? I mean this bookmark looks to me like to be used as key plus we have the option to chose key for the wallet itself...that's look like double key with better security than paper wallet? Is that correct or is in my crazy imagination only?....Can we use this to store long term , or It is not appropriate?

Let's look at an example for an explanation:

https://cryptap.us/uno/jswallet/#aXVQ5SaSkFeKnUZHRepwmR8pPb6Jp5

Notice the random characters after the "#". This was generated using the entropy of mouse movements when generating the wallet. "aXVQ5SaSkFeKnUZHRepwmR8pPb6Jp5" is actually a random brainwallet and you can even use a copy of the paperwallet html site to recreate it off-line if you like. jswallet does not send any information back to the host server (all modern browsers ignore anything after "#", or at least the open browsers like chrome and firefox do), so you didn't need to go offline for this (of coarse that's assuming your OS and browser have not been compromised). You can save the bookmark and recall it as you like. This assumes that how you are storing your bookmarks is secure, so don't share your bookmarks Smiley

You can even do non-random brainwallets, like:

battle at .006?

just underscores the fundamentals of UNO
last week: +$10k volume/24hr
this week:  $30 bucks/24hr

why?
$2.50 line in the sand
99.99% consensus not to sell under
(doubt any other top100 coin can adjust so quickly and nimbly)

let the turtles work their way up to the line
they's creeping up slowly hoping someone panics and drops a few sacks in the .0045s

GOOD news
this should aid in the UNO based markets
coins can use it (and already use it) as sort of an alternative trade channel
so if UN is solid @ $2.50 it takes the guess work out of setting prices in UN

in general BTC is also frozen this last 7 days with less than 1% volatility
(so smart to see which direction BTC bucks, up or down)

Coinomi supports several currencies and ties into Shapeshift for instant conversion of coins between wallet.  Coinomi said they can add it for us for 1.5 btc, or "we" can do it ourselves if "we" can convince someone smart to take on the project (Cryptapus / Siameze / anyone?).  It could be a great way to leverage UNO Electrum.
The "how to" details are here.

...

Maybe a bounty of some sort is in order to make UNO happen for Coinomi, if you guys think its a good idea and a worthy project.

Electrum seems to be the latest and greatest deal..

Is anyone in the community willing / able to do this?

What is the bounty? I'm willing to support in the fundraising...

Oh BTW, because of our Tx fee discussion I increased my UNO Core transaction fee setting from 0.00001 UNO/Kb to 0.001 UNO/Kb.

I should probably increase it more, I rarely send less than $50 worth of UNO & I am now paying ~$0.0008 instead of ~$0.000008. I can send 1,250 transactions for $1 instead of 125,000 transactions for $1.

Does anyone know what determines the size of a transaction (in kilobytes)?

Size of a transaction is proportional to how many unspent outputs that you are using, and how many addresses you're sending to. So, if someone sent you five 0.1 UNO transactions and you used those to send 0.5 split between two addresses, that would be larger than if you had one 5.0 UNO output being completely spent to one address. You can play with this by using the "coin control" feature to add/remove various unspent outputs to your transactions.

I tried the Uberpay wallet again today. The first time I had a few issues with different coins not being online, but today everything worked flawlessly.
I exchanged some BTC and then some leftover DOGE for UNO through the Uberpay wallet's integration with Shapeshift.
This wallet seems to be rapidly improving.

It has a ways to go to match Coinomi's number of downloads, but its mostly a deadringer for Coinomi in look and feel. It's on Google Play.

Lets talk mobile wallets for a minute.

If you have an Android device and have not installed Hash Engineering's UNO wallet you're missing out. It's great!
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hashengineering.unobtanium.wallet
Install it from Google Play Store, and take a little UNO with you everywhere.  Add some of the Cryptapus dice games to the address book, and now you've got something fun to do while you're waiting in line, traffic, or on the train.

UNO is also part of the multi-coin Uberpay wallet in Google Play.

WHAT ABOUT iOS?
As far as I know, there is no UNO wallet available for iOS (am I right?).

I've been in touch with Coinomi about adding UNO to their great wallet, which is currently Android only, but they are working on an iOS version. This could be a good solution to getting UNO on iOS devices.

Coinomi depends on Electrum:
"For each coin a separate electrum configuration file is needed with the most important part:

# Litecoin specific network parameters
[network]
pubkey_address = 48
script_address = 5
genesis_hash = 12a765e31ffd4059bada1e25190f6e98c99d9714d334efa41a195a7e7e04bfe2
"

Concur.  I didn't have a Coinomi wallet until I bought DASH... which was like two weeks back... OK... whatever you think about Dash... I bought some.  alright?  Anyway, I think it would be cool to have UN on Coinomi.

Blueman, thanks for the new screensaver & desktop art.

Could you guys do me a favor?
