Anyone else having a problem syncing the wallet?  I can't get passed block 266752.  I have updated to the most recent OSX wallet, although I did notice there were two different types of OSX wallets available.  My wallet is showing my UNO balance appropriately, but does not seem to be downloading the rest of the blockchain transactions.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

no problems here...which OSX wallet are you using?

try this one, just released last week:

Here's Unobtanium Mac wallet with different flavor (BlueMan designed) plus zero configuration.

That is why i wanted to mention it. It isn't the first time, it has happened and in the past it has been about posts that really didn't make much of a difference either way. I think they were limited content posts on my behalf. I was mostly concerned about a possibility of an account breach since this site was hacked not too long ago. It could very well be some type of conspiracy, i would keep the hat near by just in case lol!

Is there anyway to get that to happen without us having to copy and paste? Sort of merging both forums into one by cross posting what happens in both? I mean there are APIs and stuff to grab data, is there something like that for forums to tie everything together and automate the process a bit?

Okay, well it appears that the commonality is very short responses to quotes and is not related to Cryptsy, I will remove my tin foil hat.

Yes, some of the posts removed were just short 1 or 2 word responses.
I'm most concerned about a longer post with images I made about the Cryptsy market today. That one didn't fit the "low value" paradigm, imo.  And there was no reason posted in my inbox about why that one was removed.

My comment was basically that the Crypsty Uno market today is very low on the sell side, while buy orders are building. I see that as optimistic. My post include a picture to illustrate the fact.

I'm going to start cross posting at Cryptocointalk.  It's easy to just copy the text and then paste it into the Uno forum at CCT.  Both BCT and CCT support the same forum markup. Join me in this.

Interesting, my Android wallet is downloading the chain very well. My windows desktop client; however, is stalled with no connections and no blocksource available.

Well this is weird. I just had one of MY posts about Cryptsy's UNO market deleted from this thread.
What's going on?

edit: seems that a forum moderator swept through and removed things he/she didn't like, or some kind of script was run that removed a lot of older posts.     I have not removed any posts here for quite a while, and can't say i agree with what was removed.
Some of the posts that I quoted or commented on were also removed and I received copies of them in my inbox.

Anyway, it is what it is. If we don't like it, we can take our Uno discussion to Cryptocointalk.com

@Sirsmokesalot: Last I saw, my most recent post above was the first on page 538, does that mean that 8 posts were deleted? I doubt it was automated since yours was more than a year ago. That is very strange especially since it relates to Cryptsy. Cryptsy recently got 2 blogs and a /r/bitcoin post deleted by threatening charges. Are they now somehow having bitcointalk posts mentioning specific keywords + Cryptsy deleted? Are we uncovering a conspiracy or is there another more simple explanation?

IMZ: Did your deleted posts mention Cryptsy?

Regarding Yobit: I'd help make the market, contribute 0.02 bitcoin and host the receiving address for the 0.1 of funding, however I am waiting to hear what BitcoinNational meant by "cautionary signals"

@ Bitcoin Charlie: I'd be happy to have several people split the .1 cost -- I'll pitch in.

Ah! Making the market! Good point. My meagre resources are engaged with CBX/UNO over a 'Topia. Anyone?
My time is limited and I'm not a trader, so I'd be glad to make the payment to the site in exchange for commitments from others to make the market...

Hmm automod would explain it. I guess they run it occasionally to clean house?

any time i make a post that is just "+1" it seems to get deleted by the automod (i assume, its an automod?)

"Why even bother wasting the time to moderate so far back? I don't get it? Has an account with moderation privileges been compromised? What is the logic and reasoning behind this?"

So glad you both posted! I had three deletions this morning, one a 'Good point!' from months ago.

Well, I didn't realize Yobit offers a Chinese version. Maybe for 0.1 BTC it would be worth it to get our toes wet in a Chinese-friendly exchange.

What if we could get, say, 5 people to share the .1 cost (more to show commitment than a concern about the cost), and make a trial on Yobits exactly, Nat, a trial?
I apologise for my absence. Unavoidable situations. Happy birthday to us!

I believe that more exchanges are better, especially those offering a Chinese option. I will agree to fund the 0.1 BTC cost to a publicly known wallet.

Will others agree to help make the market? For how long?

Also, since it sounds like $UNO market cap is much larger than the other coins on Yobi exchange, could this be another market in which we could become a base trade pair?

Not to go conspiracy theory on everyone, but does anyone get the feeling that with Cryptsy's huge stash of UNO, that there are forces at work to keep UNO at an artificially low value?

some of us thought the Uran-wallet was wolong. Then it turned out it was cryptsy. What if both is true?

+1"

UNO is very scarace on the sell side.  Here's the book at Cryptsy.

Dumping seems to have stopped.
It's nice to see the return of the buy orders.   Without the dumps, buyers might actually have to raise their prices now.

I bought Uno on Saturday for 0045. I think I might have won the prize for cheapest Uno buy of the year.

Will you share those cautionary signals with us?

Cryptsy wallet down to 16.97%! Keep it up everyone, let's get this thing below 15%.

The first blog post that I posted about Cryptsy got deleted and the reddit thread was deleted as well, possibly due to public threats of legal action from Cryptsy. There's another discussion up here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3pbk88/bitcoin_exchange_cryptsy_may_have_gone_full_mt/

"a paid-for listing mayn’t be worth it"  ... a little more research into yobit ... i see many cautionary signals.

random

150:1 .... if you have $150 in market cap you can do daily volume of $1 ... both BTC, LTC run fairly consistent in that range.

300:1 .... would be a nice average for UN to aim for in this year3.
