re: favorite Unobtanium progress/challenge story YEAR2

MM ... we started the year thinking about it and accomplished it by mid-year

UNO as a base pair ... this will pay off as a very smart development move

shapeshift inclusion

android wallet ... in it being a community managed project

return of the King ... HC is back!

pro - toe - tan - ium ... coolest test net anyone has got

Unobtanium inflation will be ~0.53% in 2016.
... I think that every time uno halves it is major progress ... and how about that inflation is more-or-less the cost of cryptsy withdraw fee!

What's your favorite Unobtanium progress/challenge story from the past year?
Let me know. I'll try to compile them into something that can be shared with the cryptocurrency newers.

It's never too early to start taking a look back.  Our 2nd birthday is only a few weeks away.

Just to refresh your memory, you can start from the first birthday post. It starts here.

Wonderfully improved atmosphere here -- like the old days.

And yes, I really do think that 2016 will be Uno's year.

I have been tailing the top 20 for so long on the rich list.

It is hard to know when the market is up or down. I thought it was down @ .012 and bought like 6 btc worth then. Lol. It was a solid purchase.

Value is a funny thing like that.
It's good to be high on the rich list. Gives you goals to shoot for in your accumulation!

True that. I bought a lot around 0.01, then a friend whipped out his fancy charts and showed me that it was likely going down to 0.0065. This certainly looks like the floor, but as you said it's hard to know.

Topia has a wide spread, so tough to trade, but great to scoop bits of cheap uno in btc
best to move "the market" to Bittrex

drain Cryptsy is a top priority .... why ... 200:1 tax
best now at under $2 than when uno is at $25

Going to 83 on the cryptoID Unobtanium Blockchain Exlpoder Rich List, bitches ~ !

Guys . . . meet the NIRPsters!

[There’s lots lot more GFC stuff going on – and always do your homework on Zero Hedge articles – but at this point no form of Governmental Madness can be dismissed.]

‘This is behind the Bank of England’s interest in the block-chain technology developed for bitcoin, because government-issued digital cash would allow a negative interest rate to be imposed at will with no escape for the general public.’

‘ . . . if NIRP gains traction at the Top Table, the life-expectancy of all fiat currencies could become dramatically shortened.’

IMZ: That's great about the UNO card! Very cool, I'm glad you're supporting that service.

FallingKnife: I noticed that e-mail, dozens of altcoins crumble away while UNO just grows stronger and looms over them all.

Zelig: For your purposes Bittrex may be best. You'll pay 0.25% to buy UNO and a 0.0002 withdrawal fee.

If you're willing to be slightly more patient you can use Cryptopia which has only a 0.2% trade fee, and you may be able to get UNO a few ticks cheaper (like 0.0061 instead of 0.0064).

I trust both sites with small funds and both offer 2-factor authentication for security.

Bleutrade is another option but doesn't really have any advantages to the above exchanges unless you're interested in placing orders on LTC or DOGE pairings.

Thanks, Nat... I have no interest in LTC or DOGE*... but, I will look into Bittrex and Cryptopia.

Z

*LTC and DOGE.  They were SOMETHING in their time.  I mean, LTC was the first alt coin and DOGE caught on with its merits and then, as a joke turned serious, for awhile... but now... I don't see what merits either of them have... One could argue against UNO I guess.  But, I recognize UNO for it's properties of rarity among crytpos... I don't think that is something that LTC or DOGE possess now that their relative novelties have warn off... But I guess, one could make any number of arguments for or against various Cryptos.

Cryptsy has added a half-percent withdrawal fee in addition to the transaction fee.

But now they have no fees at all on trades.

Hmm... is there a mathematician in the house?

Now I have to do a whole bunch of other shit to my spreadsheet???... Cryptsy fuckers... somebody recommend me a better trading platform... fucking Crypsty... I work way too much now to have to deal with their bs... you want me to trade on your platform, make it easy or fuck off.

And... does anyone know what's up with Circle?  Still waiting on a deposit.  Did they change their instant deposit policy in the past week?

WTF... miss a week or two of crypto and it's like being out for a year.  wtf, man???

I just transferred 25.91011 UN from Cryptsy to my wallet and only 25.78045945 arrived.  Supposedly the transfer fee is 0.0001?

I just saw an email from Bittrex with 35 coin delistings, and once again UNO is not on that list.

Notable is RZR and SYNC.  The others... I've hardly heard of but I'm willing to bet that somewhere between 90% to 100% of them are a lot younger than Uno.

It's a marathon. Every trade, every hodled coin, even purchase, every post or tweet, every new member to this forum helps the runner keep up his pace.

First Thought: I mean no disrespect; but I shall puddle along on the principle that merchant development is fundamental.

Anecdote: last year, I was asked by PM to add a vote to get another crypto accepted by these guys -- which I did: IndiaMikeZulu maintains relations with coiners all over the planet.

Then I nagged the same guys to add us. Which they did!

So, I pay with Uno for 'gift cards' -- quite economical -- for an Australian supermarket chain; and henceforth, when I go to town for my fortnightly shop, most of my shopping will be paid for with these cards, paid for with Uno.

This provides that one Uno coiner provides about one Bitcoin volume per month for Uno, and the merchant might even eventually choose to hold some.
