I have had so many headaches since my switch to 64-bit architecture with this crap. If there are any gurus here to help me out it will be much appreciated. As an aside, I did not have this issue at all on my older 32-bit machine.

Also, I have submitted shares that far exceed the difficulty of UNO and it's still rejected as "stale work" (but valid for other chains).

I did notice that someone changed the "getauxblock(): block not found" error to the current "stale work" error in the source. Without looking into the code further, that might lead me to believe that the stale work error is being misreported as a problem somewhere else. That is just pure speculation though.

yea i dont merge mining is working.. if merge mining was working we would see higher hash rate than the current hash rate of 24.429 TH/s..

But has xpool.ca actually merge mined a block? I don't think the code is correct in the git repo. All AUXPOW blocks are rejected with

2015-05-10 22:57:48 ERROR: stale-work

Even though they are valid and work just fine for other merge mined coins. Please hop on IRC if you want to try to figure out what's wrong.. but I have not seen any merge mined blocks in the blockchain yet, which leads me to believe it's not working. That is, unless I'm using the wrong git repo?

Merged Mining is up and running.  xpool.ca says they already have it implemented.  Other pools can start merge mining by compiling v 0.10.

The problem is not with merge mining. The problem is with the fork that occurred when authpow started at block 600k, because we do not yet have Windows/Mac wallets.  We're waiting for the new wallets to be released.   But otherwise, the main fork (running on v 0.10) with merged mining is working now.

Any ETA on fixing merged mining?

We have an Australian chapter. We could use a Russian chapter for Uno, too.

I am glad for your enthusiasm. Uno belongs to the community. $30 seems crazy today, but I think it's a possibility longer term. The things Uno has experienced since 2013 have killed off 1000 other altcoins, but Uno is still here. If it were easy, those other coins would still be alive. The community is doing the hard work right now. We'll get through this. More contributors to the project would be awesome.

In unobtaniu.conf I'll setup connect={0.10 node ip}
and try to resync the blockchain. If it works I'll let you know.

Will it help if I reload the whole blockchain? and how do I do that?

I don't have a firm time, my friend. Bryce is the dev, and he'll release it when he believes it's ready. I don't think it will much longer, but I don't want to put out a time that will disappoint.  I'm as ready as anyone for the new wallets. I am continuing to buy my daily 7.5 Uno, and am anxious to keep feeding my wallet.

This is pretty much BS to complain like this right now as the coin should have an average price throughout its life of around 0.005 to 0.006 ... Today you can buy coins at 0.009 to 0.01 so instead of complaining how "early adopters" have an "upper hand" one could just go out and buy himself a bunch and call himself an "early adopter" too.

Generally with any coin(anything in life really) the early adopters always have the "upper hand". It is classic risk/reward. Sadly though the track record for people who were 'early adopters' of crypto doesn't look so rewarding. If you were in btc when it first came out, and sold when it hit 1.2k, then yes, very lucky. If you actually believed in btc and held it, well, at the current moment perhaps not so lucky. What makes Uno stand out was that it gave all miners an opportunity to get their miners pointed towards Uno when it first came out. Instead of having some buried announcement that only 3 people read, or better yet an announcement after the coin has been mined for a week, there was more than ample time for anyone to get in on it when it first released. Even now, it is never too late to join the party. Is it as easy to score a ton now than it was a year ago? Well it isn't difficult, but it is gonna cost ya a little bit more. If all goes according to plan, next year @ this time it should cost even more to obtain that ton.  

I know there are a number of coins with lousy distributions, Uno should see better distro the more popular it becomes. With the advent of mm, we should have a lot more people with more Uno. Luckily the markets can more than absorb any of the pressure that might come from miners selling. Good times are to be had!

That did make me think of something, how many people here today, mined Uno when it first came out?

It is nice to see a few new names popping up, the circumstance is a teeny bit unfortunate but hopefully everyone will stick around!

Good response on the fork, I compiled a new wallet on my older version of Debian, but I am having no end of troubles with my "everyday" PC with boost, so at this point I can't build anything until I resolve this issue. :/
