This is a POS coin as well? What is the % gain and how much time is needed to receive rewards? Also, what is the required amount of coins to receive rewards?

There is no POS element, it is POW only.

Criptix, thanks for stopping by the Unoverse!

Personally, I believe that people are tired of the ICO pump and dump game. As a result, they are looking for other alternatives that are legitimate. $UNO perfectly fits that bill. To me, in the world of crypto, it is my store of value.

The launch was completely fair, no premine, no insider sale, limited supply, merge-mined POW, and low, low, low inflation. No shenanigans. The community is great and the developer is available should we need any assistance. It doesn't promise any kind of hidden, evet-upcoming panacea technology-wise. It is designed to be simple.

Greetings All,

On Oct. 1 I plan on disabling my services (electrum servers, jswallet, block explorers) that require an active node. Please make arrangements. All of my services give you access to your private key that you can import into your own nodes. However, the Copay Beta may be tricky if you don't have a programming background.

Kind Regards,

I have received some questions via pm that are probably more appropriate for a larger audience.

The occasional loss of hash / pause in block generation is not healthy, nor is acceptable for a cryptocurrency. I'm sure you are all aware of the drama in the BTC work regarding mining centralization and it's risks. One miner with >51% hash share is by definition an attack on the network. And miners that play shell games in regard to multiple pools in name only are not fooling those who understand cryptocurrency.

For that reason I would like to focus my time on a different project, as my bandwidth is always limited.

However, since we have many more folks using my services than I was aware and to give them more time, I will continue to keep them open until Nov. 1 (will reassess then).

Frankly, I was a little surprised on the amount of feedback... this sub has been very quiet lately.

Thanks, Cryptapus. That's very helpful.
Learminer is going to help put up a couple more Electrum servers. That has been a fabulous service, and has also enabled UNO's presence in the popular Coinomi wallet.

I hear what you're saying.  I wish I could wave a magic wand and get 1000 pools bring 1 PHS each, but the market has chosen to consolidate sha256 mining power into ever larger pools.

A lot of the UNO talk now has migrated to Telegram. There is a quite active community there,   https://t.me/unobtaniumuno

Finally things are moving and diff is coming down from 36 billion to 340 million.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/

The network finally accepted multipool.us's blocks, then another miner added his own a few minutes ago.

Keep it moving.  For miner's, what a great opportunity now to get Uno.  Hurry and mine UNO before that whale miner comes back.

I was wondering why all of a sudden www.zpool.ca was finding so many UNO blocks. I've updated the wallet to the current src and re-enabled mining. I took it off because I thought I forked.

Cheers
The big exahash miner pulled out suddenly.  Went from 36B difficult to 200M pretty quick.  Thank god for KGW.

Multipool.us was a big help today in jump starting the network after the big hash moved.

You can tip Multipool at uS3XNTVUxprqtybwTBrTKcmjaKaM9krjXw

That's good news.

Well done for making that happen.

It would help if people would synch with the multipool.us wallet
Glad to help, can you explain what we need to do to make that happen?

The community is working on it.
Blocks are being found at https://www.multipool.us/dashboard/pool/uno
but the network has not gained consensus yet.
It would help if people would synch with the multipool.us wallet

That's a damn shame that Cryptapus is leaving us. Can we know what is the reason?
What is actual hashrate of unobtanium right now? How long it will take to back to normal? Is somebody mining it, or it will die without support.
It's dangerously high difficulty, for security implementation of multialgo should be done if we want to thrive.

That's super disappointing.  Your services have been of great value to UNO, Cryptapus. Thank you for all you have done for years.
