Blazr2 also had some decent altruistic approach when launching the coin as he did not do it for personal gains mainly (no premine or whatever). Although he did it for donations and little money. Without that bit of altruisim Uno would not have been as fair as it was

Altruistic people often find themselves exploited by others in this society of today though. So altruism is a rare thing.

I think -- with the halving now not that far away -- that even though we're gonna have rises and dips, Uno is definitely in the home stretch to huge success. We should keep an eye out, in the next two years or so, on 'big sightings' of Uno.

Imagine in a year or so if someone put six or eight hundred Uno up for sale. They'd be gone in about six or eight minutes.

Uno looks like it has risen a little bit.
I am looking forward to March - it will be awesome month for UNO's chart.
I think it will stabilize over 0.02 after some time and then it is ready for passing 0.03.

This discussion is a good one but lest we derail the UNO thread, perhaps interested parties might continue it in the Politics and Society or Off-Topic area of the forums? I've stopped myself from replying to this for the sake of the greater UNO thread and wanted to note it might be an idea to simply start a new one and post the link to it here. Debates and deeper discussion could then be had in peace without getting away from the point of this thread! Cheers.

I feel a little unconformable to go much too personal level here.
By stating that I have never met an altruistic individual I meant, I do not believe there is such a trait as altruism.
I have met a lot of different kind of people (been previously working in sales around 5-6 yrs so I have indeed met a variety of different type of people).

That being said, I do not mean there is no people participating charities, donating money to causes, helping and voluntaaring, being nice to others despite the other may not be nice to you etc.
I simply meant I do not believe there is something truly altruism. If you scratch a bit the surface you might find some selfish motives behind those seemingly altruistic actions (for instance, voluntaaring gives you a feeling of being needed by someone, donations makes you either happy or helping you to express yourself somehow - the highest level of Maslow's hierarchy of needs etc).
All I am saying is that not everything that looks good is good after all if you go deep enough.
That being said, I personally am donating in causes I want to support, and indeed the feeling after done this is heavenly and as I believe in God (however, I do not believe in doctrines but God who is simply the Almighty Creator without describing Him more) and that God will reward it at some point.
