Hey, check this out:

Sorted by price in $USD.  I only see 3 real cryptocurrencies on there, and UNO is #2.

Oh, LTC tried to catch up today, ...but failed.  ~Oh!

We are savvy traders.
For long/reserve positions.
We like UNO.  We like PM's.
We short everything else.

Naw.  Let the free market take care of it.

Unobtanium people wisely and cunningly invest in a market basket of financial instruments.  We like UNO.  We like PM's.  We are savvy traders who play the different fiat-BTC-other-Silver-UNO ratios.

Wink

That's it - the community makes up the wealth in UNO.  Uno just tries its best to represent us.

-

I'm telling you as fact - silver backs Unobtanium.  Full stop.

Unobtanium really is backed by silver.

Wink

There are 2 camps of thought on this.  To fix/peg uno to silver or not.

I argue that uno should be = to backed but not pegged to silver
= yes&no

Say there is a group called 'Core-tanium Metals LLC'

They publish redemption terms and conditions, say every 90days.
e.g. >> "100oz silver bar for 400kg UN, 10 bars available, first come first serve"

Now that doesn't 'peg' all Un to silver, just 4000kg that can be swapped for 1000oz.

(just thinking aloud)

Why? Because, for another two or three years, price stability is more important than a high market-cap (IMHO).

Hey, B.C.!

I am not in charge.

The calling into play of these funds can surely be made informally by the core community -- we will know when to pull the trigger.

And the storage of the BTC? As always, it's 'distributed' -- exactly the same as the liquidity pledges. One 'Core-tanium' = X of UNO; Y of BTC pledged to buy UNO; $Z of (your national) fiat pledged to buy 'incoming' merchant coin.

"We need to be prepared for this to protect Unobtanium."

My resources are tiny, but the 'core-tanium' project is underway (and I bought some 'new' Uno from SgtMoth yesterday).

Btc address 1DG6gjrZ6XyzSUBA6GBrhra5FSQwkiQy7y will henceforth hold .25 as 'anti-dump' ammo, to be informally called upon by the core community.

Yes, it's tiny; but Benefactor is right to point out the importance of perceptions. Mr. Potato-head, take note!

m
Who pulls the trigger on the BTC protection wallet and at what threshold?

Are you asking us to add to it?

EDIT: BTW, nice to have market cap above $500k again and be 40th on the list!

"We need some BTC to support [UNO]"

'Core-tanium'!!

Yes, it's a tiny amount; but many hands make light work.

So the market could swing wild up to $400 ... then back down to $150 by March.
(Nice if you went $50M in at below $200 pump on the NASDAQ buzz for 50-100% gain)
Are you prepared for BTC $640 in a few months and then $1K and more months later?

We need to be prepared for this to protect Unobtanium.  I don't want any huge dumps, because people don't understand that UNO moves with BTC, and still gains a little bit.  A lot of this is perception, and not understanding that BTC isn't going away, but is now on a bull market, is part of this.  I'm not into manipulation.  Knowledge and understanding = quality = long-term gains!

Don't forget BTC remains the dominant support for UNO, so we need some to support it.  Toss up some conservative bids once in a while!

Shine on UNO!

I don't know where LTC and PPC are going, but I've cashed that out with a heafty profit and don't care, anymore.  More kindlin' to support UNO.

Obviously i was too bearish on Bitcoin (went long for a bit yesterday)

Still marketaction doesn't look very healthy. I can't read that bitcoinmarket, really. Could be dumping, could start rally - i have no idea.
I think I do know the long-term prognosis for BTC, based on a number of things, but the good stuff stays on my top shelf for now....

https://ounce.me

That ratio of BTC/1oz Silver is now down to 0.073 from the 0.09+ when I first mentioned it.  You could buy your silver back, today, and make a decent profit, if you would have listened to me!  Me - I just park the proceeds in UNO.  Wink

I don't recommend selling UNO to take advantage of the longer-term rise in BTC, since UNO rides on that, and still beats it, but I think new money should be used to buy BTC, and then support the UNO market with that.  Doesn't hurt, plus you probably could use next month's budget and even some of your current month's budget on BTC, and have good liquidity and profit, when using it to cherry-pick the low branches of the UNO bid stack.

I think the BTC/Ag ratio will continue to go back to sub-0.05, so there's still time to hop on, according to my theory, especially if BTC relaxes into this next week, and PM's continue to jump up!!!

Works great for me, and the Unobtanium market agrees.  The proof is in the graph.    Cheesy

We're chipping away at the ol' Megawallet!!!  Take our BTC's, cryptsy, we don't want them!

@ Gustav: I think saying, 'I have no idea!' is a healthy thing to do. 'Chaotic equation' -- too many unknown variables

I believe this file to be safe and that there's no funny business of the type you are considering, Benefactor.
No, I didn't think there was anything wrong with the file, just that,....Well, you understand it better than me.

As a result, Uno took a big jump in their rating.
We should be #1 of  the community rating!

Unobtanium obviously has the best community...

You're right. I don't know how they measure it, but we are short changed on that measurement.

Hi, is the wallet safe?

Comodo alarmed me while installing

And after i uploaded it on Virus Total also showing 2 results

False Alarms? Just want to get sure....

Yes, it's safe.

I just sent a False Positive report to Eset. Should be ok in 2 days.

The other AV app, Rising.. I've never heard of them.
http://www.rising-global.com/
I resubmitted the Windows wallet to them, but they don't seem like much of a company.  They look like they themselves may be a virus.

UNO market is very nice.  Cracking 0.01btc in a btc up swing shows the confidence is strong.

Time will show how strong the 0.01btc support is, and my guess is were crossing this bridge and not coming back.
$/un market is a little hot.  Next resistance @ $3.  I am ready for that price.  My target is $5 in July and $8.50 in 1 year from today.

BTC market is nutty.  Reaching for a price it could not support.
The market should be $200-$210 and stay there for weeks before reaching up.

However, it may get very nutty as the NASDAQ ETF is going to be announced soon.
So the market could swing wild up to $400 ... then back down to $150 by March.
(Nice if you went $50M in at below $200 pump on the NASDAQ buzz for 50-100% gain)
