FYI, I've updated the links in the OP for the UNO Mac/Windows wallets.
They will now be available directly from Unobtanium.uno.

When I moved the wallets, I also re-scanned them with VirusTotal.   It would help if you would follow the Virus total scan link and up-vote the file as safe.  It's the same files, just new location. The old mediafire links will be retired soon.

Also, I noticed Unobtanium.uno stopped showing price/vol info today. Something broke, somewhere. I've reported that to Learminer.

Just realized:  UNO has 5 rockchain explorers listed in the OP right now. I value each of them. I can recall a time within the past year when we had none! Having the explorers on the network provides peers & connections. They are always up, and therefore always important.  Please don't forget to tip these guys.

Seems to be clinging to $250.
Expect rapid drop.
Next stop is $200.  (that's the established floor pattern on the charts)
Should recover for a while in the $225 range.
But in 2 weeks the cycle will repeat.
The next floor is bitcoin before the pump.
That's when it gets nasty.
Guy's holding +2yrs will be looking for the exit.  And they have big stacks to dump.

dumped all my btc for fiat on 280$
What i have left is on the uno orderbook and some at the side in case it drops a little unexpectedly. I am not worried about their value.
My buyorders for btc are below 100$ in case it flashcrashes down so i can sell the rebound or buy more uno.
No hope for bitcoin. After all this there will not be a new ATH. People aren't that stupid to buy bitcoin again for those high prices. Uno is the last hope for crypto. Let's not repeat any of the mistakes bitcoin and that community did.

I think bitcoin could hit its floor at 5$ to 20$ in case it plays out really nasty.

--watch the Alts to see which coins are being bought up with all this btc--

Our day is coming, but they will jam into the top 20 first then work down the list.
Pay seems to be getting the first round.  Doge will likely follow.  LTC will get a taste but has exactly the same problem as btc.
Peer, Name, Black, Monero will catch investment because ... "I've heard of them" panic investing.

"Why not Uno?"
it is inflation kids ... and uno has just 457kg added a month

I just noticed a new feature added to coinbase that allows you to deposit and store USD.  This is a good temporary solution for me; i can deposit the USD instead of having to worry about BTC price falling in the days i wait for my coins.

I like Bleutrade. I hope they can add some better ways to deposit USD. I like that the owners are known and also the ablity to create tradepairs between any of the curencies they offer.

Cryptsy would be ideal, but of course, no Uno/Usd market there yet. Let's keep asking for it, and point them back to comments in this thread.

Comkort accepts both OKPay and Payeer deposits for USD. I've never OkPay, but if its better than Payeer, maybe we can ramp up the UNO/USD market at Comkort.
I like Bleutrade as well. I used to use OKPay for depositing at BTC-e and it worked really well and they had a nice phone app and never had a single problem.  However, the US government came out with FACTA and OKPay quit doing business with anyone with a permanent address in US. I haven't checked back lately to see what the status is. I think OKPay is based in Czechoslovakia...

I believe most of the issues with getting FIAT into exchanges comes from regulation and confusion in the regulation of bitcoin. I remember my first BTC purchase, I believe I shipped money to Russian exchange BTC-E.

I was convinced I would never see it again. Fate must have been smiling.

i wanted to load up some USD onto bleutrade to make a buy, but it seems the only way to get fiat on that exchange is through a 3rd party called "Payeer."  However, they don't seem to be very useful (still no way for me, an american, to get money to them without bank wire) and also I realized they are a Russian based company.  I hate to seem prejudice, but I won't do any financial business with Russians anymore; its just too risky.

so oh well, i guess its either paypal on Un-Ex or wait 3 days to get bitcoin from coinbase to buy my UNO...which in a bitcoin bear market is not my favorite choice.  I moved out of bitcoin and fully into UNO a few months ago and am frustrated that I need to keep buying bitcoin just to keep buying UNO Sad

I tried signing up with OKPay but they aren't serving american customers Sad

dealing with fiat currency on the internet is a wicked pain in the ass, as if we didn't already know.  It seems like it would be so easy to have something like a $100 credit to cryptsy that you could just purchase with paypal or credit/debit.  like buying an amazon gift card...that is so easy.  why can't any exchange make this easy?

If you want to be the big dog.
1.  Accept blockchain bloat (spam is part of the deal) thus mining goes industrial and the average person can not download the chain.

2.  Know that if you fork after having 'arrived' to the mainstream.  You are dead as a store of value.  Because you are not a 'decentralized' money, but by matter of fact (the fork) you are a centralized money controlled by an inner elite.

-----
I know it might sound hypocritical.  I am for forking UNO if and only if we can see a problem and know of a good solution.

UNO is still very green, still very small, and it can be forked because we can establish a consensus.

But once UNO has been traded in the $millions/day for months and months ... suggestion of forking is an act of treason.

If you want a better bitcoin make one, oh that's right that's what alts are.

Uno is a good place in all this. Especially because its purpose (store of value) grants fewer transactions generally than let's say a tipping currency would have. The altcoin industry could be great fun and a lot profit but bitcoin is in the way of everyone. It has high inflation, can't take off and gives crypto a bad name. Smaller coins suffer from that.
I'm not the only one seeing this. In fact a lot people complain.

Innocent and ignorant question here, smalltimer (or anyone) - can any block chain be spammed to maliciously increase the block chain size? This basically entails making many tiny transactions to ultimately cripple the network, yeah? I'd never thought of this, but what's to stop any coin being attacked like this? Interesting.

Happened to bitcoin before. Spam is a very real attack vector and they propose a hardfork that will enable spam to have even more power by giving it 20MB per block. So 1st it is a stupid idea to hardfork 2nd it's even more stupid when you think it's not needed yet, has no consensus going (because not needed yet of course), could and will create chaos and all it does is make the chain even more vulnerable to spam. That's basic stuff gavin and all the hurray-people seem not to think about. I think they are totally corrupt.

There are limits. Each transaction need give some fee. Rising block size is a must in bitcoin, but it need to be put together witch UTXO consensus database to allow ppl run "almost" full node w/o need to download and hold 40+GB of block chain data.

Of course the attack costs fees. I don't see rising blocksize as a must. Why should that be? I think balu has it right: the problem should not even happen because people would just be using an alternative chain once bitcoin becomes too crowded. So it's no must. They could aswell just launch a new coin but they are too greedy for that.

It seems to be a great concern for them to keep altcoins down is my impression. They want all the investors money in btc so they can get their 10 million for a coin (crazy peoples idea). Bitcoin has become cancerous.

They prefer failure before creating a new coin and invest in that aswell.

Right, okay, thanks for that. Uno Cove seems like a good place to drop an anchor in the rough seas of 2015 then! Glad there's popcorn here Smiley
