i think you can apply fractals to TA now. moving similar to how LTC did last 36h (leg up - wait for dumpers/consolidation - leg up - repeat) ... possibly another leg up soon.

I think you mean a sell of 180 UNO at 0.00500063 at Cryptsy - I bought it, There was a buy wall at MintPal at 0.00549875 for 400 UNO at the same time - I got that one too.

Hah thanks man! I was wishing i had enough btc to swallow that wall up, the one on cryptsy. I didn't see that 400 uno wall at mintpal, but nice buy!

So can we start an Uno holders club =-)?

Do you think UNO will grow slowly in the future when cryptocurrencies are something mainstream and popular and UNO is still around and due rarity, it still keeps slowly growing as some sort of desirable asset to have? Im still deciding if I want to keep my UNO or dump.

I strongly disagree with this . By selling UNO at these low prices you are in fact keeping UNO low and not making a market at all. If someone wants to buy UNO then they should have to move the price to get it not be given it cheaply by people trying to make a market.

The price will blow straight through your market making position and never come back , then what ? It takes along time and lots of patience to get a position in UNO, dont give it away cheaply!

I am not even thinking about selling 1 UNO till price moves at least x10 from here .

Well, sorry, you are wrong - with regards to bittrex anyway.  I want UNO to stay on bittrex.  Cryptsy market sets the price so, people aren't going to buy on bittrex unless there is reasonably priced (comparably to cryptsy) UNO there.  There is not much and what i put there got ate up.  I'm not putting any more until my buys fill.

With regards to the price blowing through my sells and never returning, yes that is a possibility.  Why is why I only alot X amount for this purpose and don't do it again until I buy back at a lower price.  I've been trading UNO back and forth across the spread for months and have made well over a BTC doing so.  Most of which I bought more UNO with.

So I've got this dogecoin issue, transaction still hasn't been confirmed after almost 2 days, only seen by 7 peers. Anyway, while trying to research how long it's "supposed" to take etc, I ran across this chart.

http://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/confirmationtime-uno.html

So I see you updated things prior to that to go to the 3 min block times. Why is that? Someone mentioned it would slow miners from dumping, but given how few coins can actually get mined anyway for this coin, isn't it sort of a minor issue? Also, what's KGW and how is it beneficial? And yeah, I'm a newb.

The markets need to be active.  We have 4 (so far) that are note worthy, and it takes daily work to keep them all flowing.  This means coins need to move, so the books need to be at an 'actionable' price for both those wishing to buy or those who want to sell.

I agree for those who don't frequently trade HODL.

The monthly buy in plan is great way to invest.  $paycheck$>btc>market>yourwallet

For those who trade Coinbroker, Bittrex, Mint, or Cry then keep an eye on the UNO bids/asks.

We need online deposits on all.  So if market demand peaks buyers can enter a position without having to login into another exchange.

We also need traders on all.  To alert the community of any 'technical' issues on deposits/withdraws.  Keep each other safe.

I suggest any very active traders interested to think of forming a UNO trade desk, example, this way a Mint trader can quickly enter the Bittrex books via a trust network.

Couple of notes from me.

Someone said don't sell any, but I agree with FK.  There has to be a market for the price to move up.  So, I've been trying to make one at bittrex because that is the only exchange I trust anymore, and so far I've had 38 UNO sold at or above 005 and not had any dumped on my buys Lol.  Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

I stopped using Cryptsy months ago precisely because of the halving withdrawals you guys describe.  They didn't seem to care about it then when I bitched, doubt they'll care now.

Nice to see price moving up.  I kinda thought we were screwed when all that stolen uno got dumped at 100 sat, but whoever got it must be holding or selling it slowly.  Good for them.

Still lurking, ttyl.

Thanks for helping the new Bittrex market. I have high hopes for them! It's a great exchange.

Re Cryptsy withdrawal issue:  Remember that annoying bot on Cryptsy that for months was placing all of those "dust" orders in the Uno order book? I suspect we're seeing some effect from that now. If you bought 1 uno on Cryptsy last month and in the process of buying 1 Un, you swept up 100 of those tiny dust transactions, and now you're transferring 100 Uno like that from Cryptsy to your external wallet, the high number of inputs seems to be causing Cryptsy some trouble. I'm just guessing on that, but recently I moved about 20 Un from Crytpsy and it had more than 300 inputs. I'm sure they'll work it out soon.

Thanks for the hint, but I'm running already 0.95 :-(
Strange for me is that e.g. today some payouts arrived while others haven't.

Installed 0.95 on another PC using the wallet backup file. It currently syncs. Let's see how many it finds...

The Transaction chain seems to be fine:

Greetings All,

Note that there is now a new tab on the paper wallet generator, assisting with the creation of bulk labels with private keys. Think of stickers for blank Casascius coins, this might be a good way to create lots of UNO tokens to store or give out, use your imagination.

http://cryptap.us/uno/paperwallet.html

Seems to work well in Chrome, feedback is welcome.

These folks sell various circular labels in different sizes that might work:

Hi All,

i'm relatively new to UNO, and currently mining on miningpool.co.

I have a "huge" difference between the amount of transferred coins from miningpool and the amount of my wallet.
Rescanning or Reindexing doesn't change anything, it still shows the same amount :-( The Wallet is connecting and syncing without problems. It seems that just some transaction arrives...

e.g. ubDbDdg4Rk1fUKME3wh7WHj93QXYhoFWi3 should show 14.097 UNO but shows only 8.566 Uno

Any hint or idea?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Peter, welcome to the community & thanks for mining Uno.

2 possibilities come to mind.

First, are you running the new 0.9.5 wallet?  If not, then your wallet is looking at the wrong fork. Updating to 0.9.5 might restore your lost uno.

The less desirable scenario might be if your pool was on the the wrong fork when the Uno was mined. Uno forked when KGW was implemented. Not all pools were able to make the switch in time, or didn't receive the message. In that case, your Uno were probably mined at a lower difficulty, and won't be valid on the main fork.

I checked Miningpool.co and they are on the correct fork right now, so I'm hoping you're just using an older wallet.

WalletGenerator.Net has added support for UNO! Check it out at

http://walletgenerator.net/?currency=Unobtanium

This is the second paper wallet service to support UNO. Cryptapus provides UNO paper wallets at http://cryptap.us/uno/paperwallet.html

Now you can choose between the designs on the two sites. Both services support BIP38 password protection for your private key, which is recommended, especially if you're creating a public/private keypair for something as permanent as a Bitkee engraved wallet.

Greetings All,

The Unobtanium faucet has been updated with a new deposit address (vanity):

ufaucetVmzh2rrye9CgsKViJHUjpXzZiim

Feel free to drop a coin or two in if you feel generous. The old deposit address will also work.

Why is the gap between bid & ask so big at Mintpal and Bittrex. Cryptsy looks better in that way.

There is another exchange where UNO is traded: https://coinbroker.io/trade/?symbol=UNO.BTC.
The spread over there is low, but volume is also low

They had about 1.3BTC volume in the last 24 hours
