Add EMC2 to the list
Have you traded, yet, in this in-house exchange?  The easiest way to do it is to go to post #2 in this thread, write a post stating which trade you accept, then send your UNO or BTC to the addresses on post #2.  You should have your return trade within 24 hours, usually much sooner, and then you will earn your 1st star, and a place on IMZ's list.

I accept BeneU007 and BeneU006.

68 ... MilliBtc'ses sent. (One for transaction costs. I gotta figure this out)

Mark

15.22 UNO sent!  Extra is for the extra you sent, (like last time. [sigh])  Generally, etiquette is to send exactly what is due, plus the network transaction charge(s) from your end, and then BeneX sends the exact amount due, plus any network transaction charge(s) on our end.  Wink

Yay!  Raised my bids!  THANK YOU!

*Also interested in 15day/30day/90day fixed rate contracts for NAUT, RZR, STAR, OSC, FRK, RPC 'bundles' that way each party can acquire over longer windows and know a guaranteed rate of exchange.

All mentioned coins actually have extremely volatile behaviour, does your proposal implies that you are willing to hold up the coins for around 90day despite on possible downward trends?

Please consider buying up my asks, so I can raise my bids.  People could be looking to my prices/spread, and think that the 'insiders' aren't willing to pay 0.005.  (Which isn't true, but it might look that way.)

I keep a tight spread, and will raise the bids according to the sales.

(P.S. May truly take up to 24 hours for a trade today - I'm outta here! Smiley )

Point taken -- but here's a belly-laugh for us: the exchange is only three weeks old! (with eleven rated-traders, and bullion sales on two continents, and other coins for sale, and escrow services). I am not in charge.

@ Sirsmokesalot: a in-chain exchange is a great idea, especially if it enlarges the community. Ya got my support!
[added bit: ahh!! I was worried I was gettin' on your bad side; but your reply to Ian's post has put me at ease. The values you state are our values. Full stop!

But, tee hee, there's no gentle way of putting it: a rating must say bluntly, 'This member can be trusted to X degree.']

No way jose! You are certainly not getting on my bad side. Not that i know of anyway Cheesy I like the exuberance you have for the coin.

I don't disagree with the ratings, i suppose i see them as a relative thing though. If there are 3 people who i am looking to trade with, all offering the same thing for the same price, the factor then is the star rating for me. If the guy with the least stars is offering the best value, but he has mixed reviews, i might pay a little more from a guy who has better reviews with the same number of stars. I don't necessarily associate the number of stars with the size of the transaction.

@ Layer: it's pretty surreal. I am ill and vision-impaired; but Ian got me on the hook when Bitcoin was $125, and I've been at it seven days a week since.

My vision includes a lot of other stuff.

A 'tribe' with pseudonymous members presents a bunch of novel problems. 'Un-Ex Plus Plus' will give us an instrument to (a) openly reward honest and active community members, and (b) manage action against anti-social elements.

I like the idea of using the crypto technology to work complex community ideas within the wallet but I agree that making demands of developers isn't a great solution. Time will tell where this will go.

As for the trust rating... it is important to really 'feel' the internet. I was born before the internet and I'm alive during it's inception and beyond, a historically unique and important demographic to live in (Or perhaps my hubris).

Let us not pretend an individual won't fake a 5 star rating to pull off a major heist and, on the same hand let us not discredit the honesty of individuals hoping to become a part of a great community. No star or 5 star an arbitrary 'trust' rating means as much as we are willing to assign it.

This project (as far as I am involved) is more about community than it is about trust, a complex consideration.
Traditionally community was trust, however with the internet such concepts are bygones of a an age already forgotten. Let us 'feel' a little old school community and build a little 'new age' trust' into a process that desperately needs some kind of reality check.

We are all in the same boat working towards relatively similar goals, surely we can find some kind of mutually productive middle ground.

I agree with all that you said. Nicely put. My goals are being rewarded for early adoption. I would like to think any type of work done on the coin is work done towards my goal Grin I believe in transparency, i got nothing to hide. Which is why i like the idea of community and such. Community can moderate itself. Shunning those who seek to hurt the community and so forth. I am glad you mentioned trust meaning as much as we are willing to assign it.

What i would like to see is a pipe dream. It should NEVER undermine the stability of the coin, the addition of new features. Of course more utility is always welcomed, but not at the sacrifice of current stability.
