Seems VNL starting to rattle the odd believer of other previous frontrunners, one thing that has impressed me from the start of this coins development is John O'Connors approach in not taking on this negativity. His simple "thank you for your support" is the way to go. Don't feed the negativity

Just a friendly reminder - if the toxic BTCTalk vitriol starts to become an issue, there is a moderated thread started by John as well as the Vanillacoin forums.

He is the 4th troll I've encountered here, I don't think we have an issue with it honestly. I'm heavily for free speach, but yeah, if things get critical people can decide for themselves where to continue.
Imho an open thread looks a lot better, DASH still have their unmoderated thread even after 5k pages. People stop after a time.

Several times when I was asked on legit coins in the crypto scene I mentioned XMR/SDC to different people while I'm only invested in VNL, I'm a fan of both. You fail to understand that I am the owner of this thread and I'm supporting the idea behind Monero. Seems I need to state it again, I even advised several people to look at it if they need a full privacy oriented project.

Another shitcoin scam with toxic community like shadowcash, would not be surprised if its the same developer.
Also, speaking of doing things new, have you seen the ZeroTime protocol that this new VanillaCoin is using? I'm not pumping VanillaCoin, it appears to have some strange FUD surrounding it's launch and at least one very salty user. I discovered the concept last night and am trying to read more on it, but it sounds very interesting.
I'm not sure what the implications are for privacy though.

That should give a few people a big advantage mining this coin.
You have to love the energy savings if you have the skill to get one running
It will be a public mining software and most people around the world should have the ability to buy a ztex quad board.
GPU mining gives a bigger advantage to a selected few on most coins that are not sha256 since the devs don't make their code public.
Only advantage will be for people who have a few of these boards at hand already, but yeah, anyone can get them.
I agree those who have these laying around from the old FPGA bitcoin mining days will have a slight edge. You might see a few old FPGA farms being revitalized as well
