Yah that is some nice progress, it is such a breath of fresh air to watch promises being worked on continuously. So much different and more professional than the last 10 projects I have watched

Wallets don't have to be unlocked to receive node incentives, only for staking and sending I believe.

Yes, you need to unlock it for ~5-10 sec each time you start it, after that you can lock it again and still get incentive rewards.

There will always be someone who will say than any amount is to high and should be lowered.
Personaly I think that 10k VNL is just right for collateral balance.
It's like you are investing in soft miner which will with time get bigger % from PoW.

I also agree with the 10k collateral lock-up. It should be expensive to hold a superpeer.
indeed a few months from now, the reward will become substantial. i understand that argument, but is the model it goes with obsolete?
