This is a WowPot. It includes many casinos that contribute to the jackpot. Sportsbet did not pay out the prize amount. It was paid by Games Global
Sportsbet didn’t pay a thing. It’s not on the blockchain. Steve said Sportsbook paid and there’s a picture of a check where it infers Sportsbet paid but that’s untrue. Coins Global paid in Euros.
Get your story straight and stop changing it all the time please.
First you say it was paid by Games Global, than you say it was Coins Global, and all news articles you posted have no source at all, and no information who wrote them.

You didnt discover anything new we dont know already about games being made and owned by someone else.

Steve said Sportsbet paid. The check inferred Sportsbet paid in USDT. It’s not true. Just search WowPot and tons of articles come up. Ignore the press releases by Sportsbet because they are misleading. Games Global paid in euros.

I used the analogy already. You walk in a store and buy a lotto ticket and win a huge jackpot. The store doesn’t pay you.

Damn nice win for the player !
I bet his all timeline has changed with this amount of USDT won  Grin
No one would be on their right minds on doing that.  Cheesy

For sure they would avoid the ff;

1. Getting abducted
2. Forceful bonuses asked by their relatives or close friends
3. Neighbors awareness
4. Tons asked tips.  Cheesy

Pretty sure that he might be just sleeping into his bed and thinking carefully on how many lambos
he would be purchasing. lol

I wonder how many his lost count before the user hit the jackpot, but regardless it should be paid off knowing how huge that amount.

Edited since I found a better article. Most articles don't even mention Sportsbet.

Never had nowhere mentioned the transaction whether it had already been made or not. Everywhere it is mentioned about the winning. You mentioned better articles but it doesn't seem better article to me as it has nothing to express clearly it has just mentioned the winnings amount nothing else.

It was paid by Games Global. https://www.gamingintelligence.com/products/casino/185955-games-global-pays-out-record-e38-5-million-through-wowpot-jackpot/ . Games Global seeds the pot with $2m e. Congrats to the player that won and it's nice of Sportsbet to celebrate the win with the player since the win did occur at their casino.
This is what many members including me didn't focus on and gave all the credit to Sportsbet.io when the truth is that they deserve partial credit for paying out the winnings smoothly while the remaining credit goes to the 3rd party that you mentioned.

These crazy wins are super rare which is why credit should be given where it's due.

Sportsbet is trying to make it look as though they made the payment but they didn't make the payment. Sportsbet states they made the payment and the picture makes it look that way too. Games Global paid the player.  It's similar to going to a shop and buying a lotto ticket. The winning lotto ticket may come from the shop but that's not the party making the payment. I checked the blockchain to confirm. I didn't see any USDT payments for that amount.

Edited since I found a better article. Most articles don't even mention Sportsbet.

I also asking the same thing on the first thread. My only mystery.

-snip-
I guess my question has been answering.

The prizes is being paid by the provider, not from the casino. I little bit worried or to skeptical about the prize is from casino due these could be effected the bankroll but the one who are paying is the provider.

At least (Sportbet) getting a good marketing from these. They not paying the prize ~xd.

Super big if true. $42 million ain’t a small amount for sure. If sportsbet.io can pay out that much, they must have a yuuge bankroll. Probably one of the most financially stable casino out there is sportsbet.io. A casino as solid as this could even finance bankrupt 3rd world countries. The lucky basturd who won it will use that money wisely hopefully. Also don’t forget to pay your taxes. I am pretty sure the tax agency will want to have their taste from this newly found yuuge wealth.

Wow this is amazing, some people are very lucky cause this is a life changing win, lol to be honest if I had won such a huge amount of money with little funds of course I'll be head over heels, although the winner said he was running all over the room. It's worth it, the win is worth running all over the room especially if the winner was not all well to do, anyways congratulations to the winner for winning the the largest slots jackpot in history.
Now this is a prove to those that claim that gambling is a bad thing and end up ruining people's life, well here is a prove that gambling can be life changing and is a game of luck as well, maybe this player might have been having several loses in the past but luck was on his side on that day, and I hope he spends the money wisely on a good investment, cause I've seen cases where people win 7 figures from gambling and  slot games and end up going back to square one due to mismanagement of funds.
Yep. there are really people who are destined or have fate on being that a lucky person on which whom had thought that you would really be that instantly become a multi millionaire with those first slot spin? Basing up into the odds and chances then you can really tell that this isnt something that you could really be able to hit up even if you do play up slots even on your lifetime specially
hitting a progressive jackpot which it is really just that way too impossible that you could be able to hit up so easily but well this has already happened and its good to hear out on that winners
words on not to take things too fast or in haste and mindful about on the things which it is really the best decision that you would really be making.

“At first I thought it was a mistake, but when it sank in that I’d won more than 40 million dollars, I was running around the room shouting and celebrating.”

He added that he still hasn’t decided what he’ll do with the huge prize.

“I’m taking things slowly and not making any big decisions just yet. All I know is that my family will never have to worry about money again. I’ve been playing with Sportsbet.io for years, and it has proven to be the best decision I’ve ever made.”

Alex Haig, Director at Sportsbet.io, passed on his congratulations to the winner, noting that it was the largest-ever prize won from a single spin on an online slot.

Online Casino Player Wins Record $42 Million Slots Jackpot on Sportsbet.io
https://news.bitcoin.com/online-casino-player-wins-record-42-million-slots-jackpot-on-sportsbet-io

PRESS RELEASE. January 10, 2024, London, UK — A lucky Sportsbet.io player has won the largest slots jackpots in history, turning a single $50 spin into an incredible $42 million prize.

Record Win

The player was placing bets in USDT cryptocurrency on Alchemy Gaming’s Wheel of Wishes slot on Sportsbet.io when the 42,100,000 USDT jackpot dropped on December 20. The huge prize was one of Games Global’s WowPot!™ progressive jackpots, which begin at 2 million euros but regularly grow to be much larger, with a small part of each bet made on the game added to the pool.

Sportsbet.io is respecting the winner’s decision to remain anonymous, but he said that he couldn’t believe it when the winning spin landed. The mystery winner stated:

“At first I thought it was a mistake, but when it sank in that I’d won more than 40 million dollars, I was running around the room shouting and celebrating.”

He added that he still hasn’t decided what he’ll do with the huge prize.

Damn nice win for the player !
I bet his all timeline has changed with this amount of USDT won  Grin

That's for sure, he would probably not gamble for a while and will just enjoy his huge amount of winning, just like a lottery win. Personally, I can't even imagine how I would spend that big money if I was in his situation, but since he is a real risk taker, betting $50 for a single spin, I'm sure it's a well deserved win for him.

If I look at it literally, it seems hard to believe that someone has won such a huge amount in a casino online here in the field of crypto gambling. But anyway, if that's true, I congratulate whoever gambled and won.
That's really true, sportsbet had confirmed it, unless you are doubtful with their reputation.

Then I also have a question similar to one of the commenters here who seems to know when he won that he will get the hit jackpot of 42 million because he was able to take a video record of it. Isn't that surprising? I'm just curious: don't those who win huge amounts in gambling usually not expect to win such a huge amount? right?

If I am not mistaken, it wasn't the winner who had taken a video, it was sportsbet. I think they have that kind of mechanism so they can review the spin.

Usually these players are sponsored by the casino. Especially if there happens to be a "replay" available, signalling that the play was recorded (which isn't done for no reason).

Several casino game software providers have a replay option available. It is even referenced as such in the OP:

Apologies and thanks for clarifying, I read and understood "watch the replay" as if if were recorded manually.

That is the real question.

The casino being in touch with the provider, the provider paying the $42m or the casino having $42m on hand and happily paying it out, it's all very unlikely to naturally happen in a week of time...let alone, like you said, the stringent KYC a real winner would go through for much less.

I think that it's more probable that the casino, the provider and the player are in cahoots, than this player genuinely having been spinning with their own money and winning this amount. It's in the provider's interest to pay a fake winner than a real one. It's in the casino's interest for advertising like we see now. It's in the player's interest since they probably got a wad of cash to play until hitting the jackpot...that is, if the player isn't the casino itself.

Conspiracy? Yes. We can't prove these things. However even looking at the OP, the coincidental recording of the happening, the logic of real logistics, it validates the opinion's validity.

Thanks for clarfying out this kind of situation on which these type of questions do came out on my mind too on how these platforms would really be able to pay up multi-millions if someone would really be able to hit up the jackpot on which it could really be that a devastating thing for them knowing a casino worth and reflecting or basing up on their reputation and popularity on which it is really that hard to believe.
This is my first time on hearing out that those providers would really be the ones who would really be paying up the jackpot.

This is really something a once in a lifetime hit for sure by those individuals on which we are still starting for this year and it did really end up good for him or very very good considering
multimillions that had been able to gain or won. I cant just imagine that this guy do make out $50 on each roll into that slot.
Well, luck would really be always the main factor and this could really be indeed a life changing thing.

You would hope that as a business, they are generating much more than this as a profit to make the payout.

The best way to prove the transaction is with the blockchain....we see market manipulation every day, publicity like this needs to be backed by blockchain evidence to stop people from being (rightfully) skeptical.

I thought it would be on the blockchain since Steve said Sportsbet paid the USDT jackpot. Instead it was part of Games Global WowPot and Games Global paid in Euros.
