well, to be fair there was an update on 10.28 and also someone posted support answers here so it's not entirely bad. But they definitely could communicate more...

Agreed, they could alleviate 95% of the anxiety of their client base if they would just communicate. State their plan and goals. List what has been found, what has been fixed, what needs to be fixed, and the time frame in which they believe that will be accomplished. Then give at least weekly updates on the situation, even if it is to say they are still working on it. It's not that hard to give a statement. They don't even have to answer questions, just give a statement. Lips sealed

I will accept 1-2 months of waiting, too. If they would reply any support question, give here an update or something else. If you hear something from
Them, there would be no problem. I can live too with a solution to pay now only a part of 50 % or so. But there is nothing what happened. That's the main problem.

in 24 btc whas the law but also a tranding engine problem...duplicate transactions...some people got duble of the real balance exploiting the bug...
but you must konw that 24 btc fees was 0 and the gay manage to return all the assets (btc i mean)
in 50btc they have fees and the normal thing from they is to resolve the problem and after that give back our btc.
i'm willing to accept 1-2 months of waiting...
they made a lot of money from our mining hardware and i think they have a very big cold walet somewhere.

But this is a very different case. You can't compare 24 BTC with 50BTC. 24 BTC were closed down by law, not by hackers. An they were Responding. 50 BTC is not responding or doing anything.

But you gave me a bit hope, that everything will get fine.

From most of the posts here it looks like inputs.io is smaller in amount compared to 50btc.com yet the posts to inputs.io seem much harsher.... and TF was responding and communicating...

Just an observation...

Most of us learnt the hard way from previous pools going bust never to keep any sizeable amount on pools and to withdraw often, while there are some people with very large amounts outstanding I expect the bulk are like me with minor amounts not worth getting upset over

Inputs.io on the other hand promised the world including safe online storage as coins would be kept in a cold wallet immune from hacking, the reality was they weren't so what people perceived as safe wasn't hence the anger (I had nothing on inputs.io btw).

Just my observation Smiley

Well, It's been only a couple of weeks since their post on the site. It is possible that they are re-coding parts of the site and froze all transactions. Stuff like that takes a lot of time.... but they are avoiding getting back to anyone so they could have just robbed everyone and peaced out lol. There goes 55 bitcoins :/

I think its not necessary to go to any court, but the owners have to tell us what is going on. Since 1 Week no Replys from support. Alkl Transactions are freezed, Shop is still open, no informations since 28.10.2013... It's not good to handly this way... normally i think we can talk to each other

PS: The WHOIS is not the right one. MONIKER is a Domain Privacy-Service do secure your personal data at Whois-Searches.

Correct. But Whois services are not anonymous. If you write them an email informing them of interest of filing a lawsuit against the owner, most of the times they hand out the ownership information. I have done it many times successfully. Its hidden, but not anonymous by any means.
That's useful to known.
Nothing like this has ever gone to court in my knowledge.
Not that I'm a lawyer.

Hello,

i'm reading since years here and have mined since years on the 50btc pool (other pools also).

Now after they got hacked there are many rumors about what really happened.

De facto:
- Paymants are not processed since weeks
- Mined BTCs are not available
- Support is not responding (not in their Support-System or by E-Mail)
- No Informations

It's really a pitty what happened but, is that the new way to handle with users or miners? I don't think so.

I wanted to pay out 71 BTC (roundabout 8 BTC were already stolen). Now i want to save my funds, but there is no possibility to do this.

And i will also support legal actions. Now since bitcoin rised its really hard to get secure from hackers, scammers and phising sites. But really, what 50btc is doing, is not okay for "customers".

Sorry for my bad english, but i'm not a native speaker, i learned it in school..... 8 years ago   Wink

Kindly

Mey
