Away on an extended break
What is your share's difficulty setting?
I tried setting it to 2 for 7970 cards (per their advice for miners with >500MH/s power), but I noticed that it negatively affected my performance, so now I am back to level 1 for all cards.

PS: One card had a spike of 33 (and counting) invalids over the last hour, so my  24-hour stats are now 46463 (35) cumulative for all cards.

I ran my 9~ GH/s farm at 8 diff. I'll try modifying it to 4 and see later then.  Undecided

Going full throttle. Sure the Web-site may occasionally report a worker as down, but they are actually up and counting towards your total. Only 2 invalids out of 46677 shares for the last 24 hours. Historically I had 13561 invalids out of 1907178 total shares (0.711%).

I have a set-up with 3 backup pools. The first 2 point to 50BTC, while the last one to OzCoin:
pool.50btc.com:3333
pool80.50btc.com
eu.ozco.in:3333

That way, if Stratum is down, I will attempt port 80 connect before abandoning the pool in favour of a reserve.

Hmm...19941 (3331 invalids) for me in the last 24 hours according to the site. Undecided

Anyone else tonight seem to lose some speed? And also have invalids increase?

+1. I've been seeing sporadic speed decreases since 12 hours ago, and it's deteriorated to the point where the speed shows as 0.  Undecided My invalids have went to the moon too.

Anyone else getting a lot of stale shares the last couple of days? I'm getting about 18-25% invalid shares now on 8 rigs running on BAMT. It was always in the low 1-2% range.

Yeah, I have. There seems to be some trouble with the pool the last couple days. Web site becomes unavailable for a while, miners dropping off to backup pools many times a day. I'm sure they are trying to fix it.
I am sure they are not trying to fix it, this happens 2 weeks ago to my miners and still is the same.

Well, it was fun while it lasted... Now the pool is eating my shares and just discarding them. Valid shares, not just "stale".

Turned a 2GHs into a disturbing 250MHs, even going so far as to say I was "dead", though the machines were all still churning out hundreds of shares going into never-never land...

I am sure they were going into someones account, but they were not going into mine.

Hope you enjoyed my modest hashing-power. lol. But I think I will move those machines back over to a pool that actually pays me for my shares, instead of throwing them out, and telling me my machines are "dead".

What a rip-off. I am just glad I didn't put more machines here.

Mining since May 2011.
[2013-05-25 21:28:35] Started cgminer 3.1.1
[2013-05-25 21:28:36] Probing for an alive pool
[2013-05-25 21:28:38] Pool 0 slow/down or URL or credentials invalid

Plz help me, I got this trouble in 2-3 days ago.
With cgminer, I try to use simple command
cgminer -o http://pool.50btc.com:8332 -u [email protected] -p 1 -I 9

Try this: (It's the Stratum port)
cgminer -o http://pool.50btc.com:3333 -u [email protected] -p 1 -I 9
Thank you!
But it's closed immediately  Huh
And I still run cgminer good with another pool  Huh
Try removing the "http://" see if that helps.

I switched to a back up pool at BTCGuild and have 0% stale or invalid on all 8 rigs for at least a hour now. So it's definitely something to do with 50BTC pool. I will switch back when the problem is resolved.

Buddy of mine just tried to set up a new miner, but the website says that his worker is always offline, yet its hashing away. Any way to solve that?
