Russia had not committited any crime in East Ukraine and in fact it has prevented a full blown secession by the pro-democracy inhabitants of the region.

Furthermore it works towards the region's reinclusion in Ukraine via Minsk accord.

Crimeans exercised their right to secession once the Ukraine constitiution had been abandoned during a violent Western backed coup, Crimea would have been slaughtered otherwise.
