"BITANTHILL" - Cryptocurrency Gaming Platform
Hi, Dear Bitcointalk users.

For a long time there was no information from us. At the moment, we have completed full testing and are waiting for the verification of our application in the AppStore. This may take more than a few weeks, as they check our license and company. So we need to be patient.

Immediately after checking, if there are no additional nuances from the side of the Apple, we will be happy to introduce our platform to the whole world.

Stay tuned  Smiley

P.S. If you want to support our project, here are our Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets.

BTC - 1FcfcVZ8RYrPTDahHwjScDAAyTnptsYG6K

BCH - qz966nuqluvakf53xjxuwgjpmr8td2cc6gacs6vwm0

XRP - rMf36FfaXnV6PZWhJQA6QkR1hTgeQgeijZ

We remind you that we finance our entire project at our own expense (without ICO and IEO). And any of your support is very valuable to us. Of course, everyone who donates funds for the development of our platform will be rewarded.

But moral support is also valuable to us. Thanks to all.

Any updates? It's been a month since the video was posted and no more info.

Looking forward to PvP backgammon.

Was going to put in for the beta, but my work schedule would probably keep me from playing on a regular basis.

Hi, Dave.

We have already completed the first stage of testing among those who left their applications by e-mail. Now we are fixing errors found during testing and will soon announce the launch of the application.

I remind you once again that we do everything exclusively at our own expense, because the development process may not go as fast as we would like, but we are already at the finish line.

Thank you!

I do not think that people really want to play this kind of game. May be at the first launching people will try to play and make some fortune but to keep on staying on pvp based site. I do not think many of them are going to do it unless there is something interesting on their site but as far as I concern , this site is pretty backgammon site which let people play fight on each other just as simple as that

Any timeline for this? Days / weeks / months?
No that it matters but it looks like a fun project and I do like the backgammon aspect so it's just more for me to know when to poke in again to check progress.

Thanks,
Dave

Good afternoon!

Thank you for your interest. On Tuesday, the first promo/gameplay-video of the project will be published. In about a week, beta testing will begin. Send an application for participation in the test by mail - [email protected] and you will immediately receive a notification about the start of public testing.

As for the full launch, this will happen after the public beta test and we expect to launch in September.

the paltform looks good , glad you didn't go the ICO-IEO way and decided to invest your own money
this gives +100 to the project legitimacy in my eyes
please, consider lowering the house edge or the fees
if I understood correctly , you are planning to set a 10% fee on backgammon games
this is quite high and I don't expect many to bet 0.5 eth on a PVP game , the stakes will be lower , speaking of which , what is the minimal bet that you plan on setting?
as a huge fan of dice , I want to know what the house edge will be and will it be a usual provably fair dice with 1000 sides or something new?

Really nice to know that they didn't hold IEO nor ICO.
It means, they have funds to begin with.
But I wish their bankroll has sufficient funds to last this site longer than its contemporary gaming sites.
And doge to be their next altcoin to be accepted on their platform.

Only bitcoin and ethereum was accepted maybe good Idea to add more like XRP, litecoin and dogecoin who also favorite coin of the player to use when they play and also me. I only know the 2 games not the other games and Im not familiar for the 2 remaining games. Need more features to add to catch the attention of the player and do something new about your gambling does no one the other to become very unique.

Good day!

Thanks for your reply.

Support for only 2 cryptocurrencies is due to the fact that at the initial stage of the platform operation it will be very difficult to provide gaming liquidity for a large number of currencies. In particular, in the game "Backgammon". I will explain in more detail:

As you know, backgammon will have its own game lobby, in which each user will create a table and indicate the currency and the amount for which he would like to play. With a large number of game currencies, at the initial stage it will be very difficult for players to find a partner, because there may not be as many players as we would like. And in this case, the following situation will turn out: each player will create tables in his own currency, and in the lobby there will be a huge number of rooms in which, possibly, no one will play, since each player wants to play only on what he has and not make no exchanges.

Adding new currencies will occur when a sufficient number of games in existing ones are provided. Our goal is to give people the opportunity to play right after he created the table. We don't want to do make 15 cryptocurrency and make them wait for their opponent all day. For this type of platform, at the initial stage, 2 cryptocurrencies are a lot. In the beginning, we thought about making our own token and making a game for it, and already inside the platform, exchanging it for other currencies, at a certain rate. But later we abandoned this idea, because the user wants to play for the currency that he has and when the courses change during the game, everyone can get a not quite full profit from the game. Therefore, in the end, it was decided to release a platform with the 2 most popular cryptocurrencies, in order to avoid problems with calculations and make everything as transparent as possible, both for the user and for us.

I hope you understand me. If you have additional questions, please contact us.

"BITANTHILL" - Cryptocurrency Gaming Platform
I think this is a great crypto gaming platform from experienced founder to a great choice of games. I am sure bitanthill will next in line of one of the top gaming platform here in crypto. They also accept top coins that most of the gambler are now holding so it more accessable to many gamblers. I hope they can add more games like card games such an poker.

I agree the platform looks good and the team seems experienced in terms of the games that it developed and has planned to which I think is the right direction for the team to focus on.
I like how adaptable they've become by accepting several coins while allowing the user to experience all the games in its full glory. Poker is now a game that many people are trying out and developing one would surely lead to more traffic  Cheesy

Thanks for your reply. Yes, poker is really quite an interesting game. But at the start, our platform will include backgammon and dice. At the moment we are financing everything with our own funds and the development of poker at the initial stage is not included in our plans (as we do not have enough funding for this). Although in the future, maybe we will return to this issue and add poker to the list of our games.

About bots.
Yes, it really is a problem. Recognizing a live player and bot is quite difficult. Our experts are now working on this problem. Since our platform will be only for mobile platforms, it seems to us that it will be more difficult to connect and use a bot to them. Although, unfortunately, I do not have a definite answer to this question.

If you have any thoughts on this matter and you can provide us with practical advice - we will only be glad of this.

A quick trick to catch a simple bot for something like this is a time. A human will think about a move. A bot will always have the answer in a fraction of a second. If you see that its a bot
The bot programmer then sets the time to a random number and you loose this but it's a start.

The 2nd check is the amount of time online If Alice is online from IP 1.2.3.4 from 00:00 to 06:00 and Bob is on from 06:01 to 12:00 and Chris is on from 12:01 to 18:00 and Dave is on from 18:01 to 23:59 and then Alice comes back, it's probably a bot. No one IP or subnet is going to be on like that.

The next bot check is the perfect play, this requires more logging. Even master players will make a mistake every 850 to 1500 moves according to a lot of people. No mistakes after 5000 moves. It's either a bot or Masayuki Mochizuki

-Dave

Thanks for the suggestions. This will help make your application better.

Looks interesting. What is your rake / commission going to be?

Some thoughts:

How will you handle aborted games? Such as Alice and Bob are playing backgammon. Bob is loosing, so he just stops playing, closes the app and walks away. The game never finishes so what happens to the BTC going to Alice for having won.

How will you handle bots? There are some bots that play backgammon perfectly. You always have the chance aspect because of the dice, but I can still have a bot kick ass for me and clean up taking BTC from the casual players.

-Dave

Hi, Dave. Thank you for your reply.

We planning to set standard 10% commission for each backgammon game. For example - Alice and Bob playing backgammon with 0.5 ETH bet (for each player), after game was finished, winner will get 0.9 ETH (1 ETH - 10% platform commission).

About aborted games.
All players in backgammon have a limited time for move. 15 seconds to standard move (this time is updated with each new dice throw) and 60 additional seconds for all game (time its not updated). If you did not make a move in time (during the standard 15 seconds), then the countdown of additional time begins. If the extra time expires and the player does not have time to make a move - he is automatically considered the loser. But, important things. Additional time need only for "fors major" situations (slow connections, other problems), if a player intentionally closes the game and our game server sees a disconnect, then the player who has disconnected will be considered the loser. There is no other option here. So in your example, Alice will receive the winning amount that was at stake (minus the platform commission), and Bob will not receive anything.
